Canuk's Zkittlez

Some more great genetics from Canuk. Dropped seed into glass of warm RO water on the 8th. Sank the next day then placed onto a damp paper towel, carefully folded and put inside a opened plastic baggie. Kept warm 85° (on top a heat mat on low setting) and dark for 48 hours before a 2in. long sprout appeared. Prerinsed my soil-mix once with RO ph 6.2 water before planting. Planted (surgically) into Solo cup on the 13th Soil mix is... 5 part FoxFarm Ocean Forest 3 part Sphagnum Moss 2 part Vermiculite This baby sprouted incredibly fast. Once the seedling emerged on the 15th put her under a 42 watt led. Have Zkitt'/solo cup covered w/plastic baggie for now. Thanks for following along with the grow.

All is well with Skittlez from Canuk Seeds. Had a tiny humidity issue that was resolved right away. Left an open air vent. 22nd...Gave a light Mycorrhizae feeding. About ⅛ tsp. mixed well with ½ gallon RO PH 6.3 Fed Zkittlez seedling about 4oz. of mix, just enough until tiny overflow/leaching. 27th...Watered 4oz. of RO, PH 6.3 And she shall grow 🌱 Thanks for checking in. As my seedlings were asking for additional light. April 30th- Watered 4oz. RO, PH 6.3 Seeing some early side branches growing from each node. May 3rd- Watered 4oz. RO, PH 6.3 Looking healthy, up to her 5th node with more side branch growth appearing. 🌱🌈🌱🌈🌱🌈🌱🌈🌱🌈🌱🌈🌱🌈🌱🌈🌱 @ her 5th node now, would've really liked Zkittlez in her final pot by now. Vegging happily. Used the LED for the first two weeks of germination. Using the 400w. MH now to get the little ones moving. 🌿🌈🌿🌈🌿🌈🌿🌈🌿🌈🌿🌈🌿🌈🌿🌈 May 6th- Transplanted from Solo cup into 5gal. cloth pot. Carefully loosened up the roots with my fingers before planting. Soil mix.... 30 parts- Fox Farm Ocean Forest Soil 10 parts- Happy Frog Soil 5 parts- Vermiculite 1 part- Earthworm Castings *Mixed well by hand then pre-rinsed the soil mix with 2½ gallons RO, PH 6.3 Let excess water drain then loosened the soil well before transplanting. *After transplant fed 32oz. (⅛ tsp.Myco+, 3ml.Sensi A&B mixed per gal.) RO, PPM 320 PH 6.3 🌿🌈🌿🌈🌿🌈🌿🌈🌿🌈🌿🌈🌿🌈🌿🌈 May 8th- Topped Zkittlez above 5th node. Looking very happy after having more room to spread out her roots. She recovered well after the transplant and is loving the Mycorrhizae (Myco+) May 11th- Watered ¾ gallon RO, PH 6.3 No overflow/leaching. *Gave her a good Neem Oil treatment, a light foliar spray mixed with plain RO. I'll probably be taking a cutting or two this week with some minor defoliation as well. May 15th- Minor LST started. Watered ¾ gallon RO, PH 6.3 Looking good after transplant/topping. Only taking off a few leaves and removing her few lowest sucker branches for clones. She'll be needing some adequate defoliation on a later date... & take more cuttings as well. 🌈🌿🌞🌈🌿🌞🌈🌿🌞🌈🌿🌞🌈🌿🌞🌈🌿 May 18th- LST, misted & gave her a light feeding of Sensi Grow A&B, Voodoo Juice mix PPM 735, PH 6.3 May 19th- Switched out the 400w. for a 600w. MH bulb. The 400w wasn't cutting it any more. May 22nd- LST & Watered ¾ gallon (80oz.) plain RO, PH 6.3 *May need more than just the 600w MH. May 24th- LST, defoliated, Neem oil foliar treatment & Fed Sensi Grow A&B, B-52 mix PPM 880, PH 6.3 May 26th- 1K total watts MH now inside the Veg. area... One 600w unit & one 400w. Just maintaining her growth and feeding here & there. Looking healthy and happy. May 27th- LST & defoliated. Watered 1 gallon RO, PH 6.3 Small overflow. Raised hoods to 29 inches. May 30th- LST, defoliated and Neem oil foliar treatment. Watered 1 gallon RO, PH 6.4 Small overflow. May 31st- LST & took a couple cuttings. Zkittlez grows on happily. June 1st- LST & a little defoliation. 👉 ((Fed Bloom Nutrients))... Fed Zkittlez 1 gallon RO, PH 6.5 PPM 1140 With about a 5% overflow/leaching. " Shut the lights off for 36 hours" June 2nd- Switched out the 600w MH bulb for a 600w Eye Hortilux Super HPS. Leaving the 400w MH going ( for now ) for a fuller, balanced light spectrum. 🌞🌿🌈🌞🌿🌈🌞🌿🌈🌞🌿🌈🌞🌿🌈🌞 Started Blooming Cycle June 2nd. She's ready for that weight. June 4th- LST & light defoliation. Raised hoods. Watered 1 gallon with slight overflow. RO, PH 6.5 June 7th- High Stress Training Session & defoliated. Pinched, bent and crimped all of her main stalks/stems. Tied em' down as well... opening her sites up to say good day to them wonderful rays. After training... Watered 1 gallon RO, PH 6.5 June 9th- Switched out the 400w. MH for a 600w. MH then raised both hoods. Recovered great from the HST on the 7th. June 10th- Fed 1 gallon with small overflow. RO, PH 6.5 PPM 1650 👉The 4x cuttings taken last week are doing well kept inside my clone box or underneath the daytime sun. June 13th- Watered 1 gallon RO, PH 6.5 With a small overflow of 3%-5% June 16th- Fed Zkittlez A.N. Week#2 bloom nutrients. Gave her 1 gallon RO, PH 6.5 PPM 1310. Raised & cleaned hoods, cleaned the grow room and fans. A clean grow is a definite must in my book. June 18th- Watered 1 gallon RO, PH 6.5 With the same amount of overflow/leachin. Removed a couple leaves that were blocking bud sites. Zkittlez is looking healthy with her new bright green pre-flower tufflets. She's started putting out more stank recently... Heat and humidity have been a tiny issue lately as this heatwave settles across the central states. Still it's been manageable for now. 🌞🌿🌈🌞🌿🌈🌞🌿🌈🌞🌿🌈🌞🌿🌈🌞 June 21st- Fed Zkittlez Week#3 bloom nutrients. Gave her 1 gallon RO, PPM 1380, PH 6.5 Raised hoods. Keeping canopy @ or about 29in. June 23rd- Watered 1 gallon plain RO. With a small overflow of 3%-5% June 26th- Fed her 1 gallon of Week#3 flower nutrients... Without using Sensizym, Cal.Mag.Xtra or Carbo Load. Cleaned up the garden a bit and raised the hoods an inch. 🌈💦🌿🌈💦🌿🌈💦🌿🌈💦🌿🌈💦🌿🌈 Zkittlez clones still need a transplant from the Solo cups. Are still happy little trees.
