Hey, this is my first growing season so I am kind of learning about everything (plants, growing conditions, nutrients...). If you have any opinions, recommendations or anything else you'd like to tell or share with me, please let me know :)
Any kind of help is more than welcome!
2nd seed has germinated a bit later but no biggie 😁
See ya soon 👽
Wazzzzaaaappp growers ✌️🏼😁
So unfortunately my 2nd seed became a nice big seedling 🌱 but then it went back in to the soil and never came back 😭 anyone know why this happened? I did everything the same way as with the other plants, cuz I have 3 of them but I'm reporting just GreenGelato one, the other 2 are Blueberry OG and some seed from the bud haha dunno the strain or gender so I’ll have to be careful w that one if it’s a male plant I know 😉, sooo looks like this other GG seed isn’t so much gg wp haha nevertheless it’s my first grow so if I manage to get 3 or 2 plants at the end of the year I’ll be more than happy 😁
Plants are still in my house, and they are turning to the sun, should I support them with the stick that I have prepared? Or should I leave them be cuz they actually don’t seem to be in some kind of the danger? What do you think guys?
Thank you for your time and answers 😃
Till next time ✌️🏼✌️🏼✌️🏼
Two days ago I supported the plants cause they were leaning too much to the window and the biggest one was already touching it. Well, yesterday I noticed the 2 of them (bud seed and GG) kinda started to bend their 1st two (biggest) leaves... fist I thought they are going trough nutrient deficiency so I began to water them with bio-grow and let go of the root juice. But the same leaves didn't get any better trough the day so I did some research on the web and find out I probably hit the root with the supporting stick and this might be the cause for the dying leaves...
Yesterday evening I also wrapped mine "see-through" cups in a paper so the roots are in the dark (rookie mistake 😔).
Hope everything goes well form now on :)
Still welcome to comment and help me with the grow :D
PEACE
sup boiz n gurlzzz 💪
so as you can see I am having some problems heh... still think that the cause for dying leaves is me, damaging the roots with the stick, but it's weird because even the new leaves that grew perfectly fine after the stick was already in there, are dying as well (as you can see)... I'm not giving up cause the 2 other plants are still growing just fine despite the leaf problem... but my GG stopped cause of overwatering and I decided that the only thing to save this baby was to transplant it into a bigger pot with fresh new dry soil, so it will pull the water away and give the roots more oxygen... it's weird because the plant's leaves should be dark green if overwatered but mine are light green... I know this is kinda small pot for the plant, but because it is stunned and I'm just trying to rescue her, I decided to plant her in a smaller pot so I can easily move her around for the sun to shine on her and inside when the temps are low (at night and today cause it's raining). If shell get better and will start to grow normally from now on
PEACE
Unfortunately I don’t have any photos of the harvest, cuz it wasn’t as good as I expected, and the buds were low shelf ones haha but the high was there and I learned a ton of things so hopefully I wont make the same mistakes next year 😁 see ya ✌️🏼
Hi! Your ladies look good and it doesn't seem to be a deficiency problem... Be patient! In general, the plants first expand roots and when it find enogh space or the limit of the pot they start to grow up. Your plants are set in a 1L pot, so it'll take more time the roots colonize the entire pot. It's really good that you have wrapped the pots.
Some advices:
- Pay attention to the humidity of the soil, don't over water.
- If you can get them in direct sunlight, it will be so much better!
- To decrease the stretch and give them more support, you can add more soil to the edge of the pots.
- Be patient!!
Good luck!!
The burnt leaves are because you are giving go much nutrients and if you are giving 1 L every day you are giving way to much water. I would give 0.5L every 2 to 3 days. Only give when it’s almost completely dry.
Good luck 👍
@CoastGrower, oh srs :/ actually I'm watering them something like you said, every 3rd day, but I was unable to type in smaller number so I let it on 1L... would be better if I deleted water volume if I'm unable to type in the correct number huh? but ok ill be even more careful with the nutrients!
plus a thing id like to ask about nutrients, I have biobizz stuff and when I mix bioheaven and biogrow into 0,5L water, I don't even use it all at once because it's too much, can I leave it in a bottle for another watering? it starts to stink after 2 days from the day I mix it with water... can I leave it and water the plants with it after few days or should I throw it away and mix a fresh cocktail for them when its time to water them?
thanks for the help :)
