Once the seeds popped they were transplanted into pots with Bat-Mix and will again be transplanted into their auto-pot systems next week or so when the grow room is ready.
Nothing to report this week. Plants are growing on in the greenhouse as I wait for some extra supplies before setting them up inside. I hve to do this before they outgrow their pots but that still gives me a little while.
There is one Frankenstein seedling that seems to have no ‘center’ is the only way I can describe it really! I should probably pinch it out but I’m curious to see what will happen?! Anyone ever had this before? I have been growing a few years now and never saw this!
Ok they are in their auto pots with the air domes and soil on 18hrs light schedule. Was a lot of work getting the room setup and few more bits to go but pretty happy with it.
Some plants are still adjusting but they will adapt quickly and soon get used to the new environment.
The plants have had no water since they went into the grow room in their autopots about a week ago. Pots are feeling much lighter and plants have taken to the new environment. Today is the first day I have switched on the autopots system and the air domes and also fed them with roughly 1 litre each fish mix by hand watering. I do not put fish mix in the reservoir because it doesn’t keep for long.
The only things in my reservoir tank now is water and bio heaven. The autopots filled up like they are supposed to and the plants now have access to the bioheaven/water mix coming through the system. Before they need feeding again I will close the system, let them dry up a litre and then feed again from above.
I have heard that you can use organic products in a reservoir if you don’t leave them a long time as they can ferment and block pipes but people also say you can do it if not left for longer than 48 hours and with some pump to keep the solution agitated. When the level in my reservoir gets to around 30 litres I might mix in some fish mix but the plants need to be bigger and drinking lots more water than they are now.
The plants have been topped to create more flowers and keep the height down. I don’t know if I should SOG/ScrOg because these are from seed and the stems are strong and there’s a fan blowing them so I’m hoping I can get away with no netting at all...!! Happy growing!!
What’s going on with this guy anyone know? He is one of 8 (the others are all fine) but he seems to have like a stunted or dwarfed appearance with claw leaves. He is still growing but I don’t know if it’s a bad genetic or something I did?? ✌️
if they're all in the same environment, were treated the same way and are from the same bag of seeds, then i would say it's genetics..
my hindu kush grow consists of 3 plants and one of them is quite a bit smaller than the other two.. already from the start..
that's just sometimes the way it is, and as long as all the others are fine it shows that it wasn't something you did.
happy growing!
Does this look like nitrogen toxicity to you guys? I have fed them only a little fish mix but I added some humus (worm castings) to soil when they got re potted and maybe too much? There’s no claw but the plant is dark green and tips are starting to go. I have flushed any ideas??
Looks like she needs other nutes.
Worm casting and fish mixes has plenty of secondary nutrients. Lacking a bit in potassium but it is okay at vegging stage.
Could be a lock out of K, Calcium, and magnesium. Adjust you pH up and you should be okay.
Feed cal mag or lime solution to the soil, and you pH will goes up. Goes easy. Takes a couple of days before pH to go up.
Quick fix woulb be spraying with one thrid strength of cal mag.
Had to remove a few plants from the grow room and flushed them in the greenhouse as they were suffering some shock maybe from getting used to the auto pot system.
Flicked them over to 12 a few days ago they are getting really big and starting to stretch. I have used bendz to train the canopy. No Scrog or netting hoping the buds will support themselves. Any small deficiencies have disappeared although the “dwarf claw“ plant has been stunted Since day one so she’s back in the greenhouse where she seems to prefer it.
Not much to report except these things are gigantic. I’m running out of roof! Stretching should stop soon and bud production will be hitting full swing next couple weeks. Happy growing!
This week has been a pleasure. After frayed nerves trying to get the auto pots working properly (using organic nutes some of which you are not supposed to use in a reservoir because they can ferment and go bad due to the natural ingredients like fish or seaweed) I have managed to find a rhythm. The plants are drinking a lot now. 50 litres per 24hrs between 7 of them. That’s like just over 7 litres a day each plant! Humidity is higher now around 66% I leave the door open a lot to let the humidity calm down a bit.
Bud development is going really well and they are puffing up every day more. I hve added bud candy to my reservoir to see what results that brings as I was recommended by a friend. I know people talk shit about advanced nutrients but I have never used them so will make up my own mind. Stay Tuned!!!
Been hot this week, one of the plants in the corner is growing monster buds with not so much resin and started foxtailing a little never had this. Must be some kind of hear stress. There are some crystals but not as much as the others which are dripping but it has the biggest bud so go figure. Happy growing
@DinafemSeeds, yes Mark, the buds are very big and smell strongly of pine and berries. Sometimes I go in there just to get a hit of the sweet aroma lol. Can’t wait to harvest
@@@AlbertEinstein, 3mx2.5m I would love to grow them in there the whole time but it gets cold here and the sun loses power towards the end of the season which sucks for flowering. also they get huge! No room for my tomatoes 😉

Cool, another multiple strain grow featuring our DinaMex 🤗
Really cool to see the 2020 outdoor season officially kick off 🤘
Good luck this year my friend 🙏
We will keep dropping in throughout the season 👊
Stay safe in these crazy times 🙏
All the best ✌️
Mark..
@DinafemSeeds, well let me tell you Dinamex is a great strain, good job, this the third time I’m growing it. I am also huge fan of critical jack. When I was growing in Spain my critical jack outdoor plants were so big and beautiful. Always good results from Dinafem thanks so much to stop by✌️
@DinafemSeeds,
Thanks for the support the stretch is real and my lights are on max height. I think I put them onto 12hours just in time 😂 must be the Sativa in the genetics. Stay tuned!!
@UncleRemus, So I can see 🤗
You should only face a few more days of vertical stretch then focus will shift to bud production and trichome 🤘
Please keep the diary update coming 🙏
All the best ✌️
