SpliffFarmer Now it's germinating 😉
The plant is developing surprisingly well, considering the small initial problems.
After the little toothpick correction, it's going great and consistently 📈💪🏽
I wish everyone participating in this contest a lot of fun and of course, good luck!!
I am incredibly excited and really happy to have been chosen!
Thank you so much @zami_official ❤️❤️❤️

SpliffFarmer I'm really amazed at the enormous growth spurt she's had. She's doubled her size in just 3 days, if not more 😌 I'm really excited so far 😇

SpliffFarmer She's growing very nicely and will soon be ready for topping ✂️
She currently has 5 nodes
But first, I'll train her with LST.

SpliffFarmer I am absolutely satisfied with this plant and I'm excited about how well it responds to low stress training.
I will bend it around the pot in the future to get better light conditions at the nodes 📈👍🏽
Today I topped it and I just hope that it handles it well and everything works out as I imagine 🙏🏽

SpliffFarmer The plant looks quite spindly, but from every leaf tip, a bud is forming 🍀
I'm really amazed at how well it has survived the intense defoliation!

It's also showing the first signs of the flowering stage.

SpliffFarmer It's going to be shockingly huge 😳😳 I didn't expect to see such growth in just a week.
PS: sorry for the quality, it will be back to normal soon 🙏🏽
SpliffFarmer Her stem just broke off because the branches were too heavy 😂
But she's still alive, which really surprises me 👌🏽

SpliffFarmer I'm really worried that she won't make it. From the way the buds look, she definitely needs at least 3 more weeks or more. I'm just hoping for the best.

SpliffFarmer It took a total of 187 days 😂
I'm very happy with the amount of beautiful, resinous buds.
Let's see how it smokes.
why do you keep them branches so low to the ground? I would totally understand if it were an indoor grow and it were a question of light penetration, just to keep canopy even. 2 palms of distance is a huge deal with a led lamp but for sunshine that's not a factor. closer to the ground you have more humity and are probably letting yourself more vulnerable to pathogens and bugs. I'm not talking shit. I'm sure you've got your reasons. I'm just trying to understand what your philosophy here is
@SpliffFarmer, thank you for your reply
yeah I understand now. I saw now back at week 16 the stalk split due to all the weight.
if it were me I'd have put a screw on clamp (or two) like the ones plumbers use (scotch tape would be too weak for this job, maybe with zip ties you could also have patched her up) and about once a week as she got thicker give her more slack so the clamps wouldn't dig into the stalk as she grew. if you do this right after the break after 3 weeks you probably wouldn't even need the clamp as she would have recovered.
also tied the branches to some stakes to help carry the weight to lift the burden from that part of the plant. has you done this she probably wouldn't have split in the first place.
this stuff happens tho.
See I thought u had done that yourself.
now there's not much you can do. she's hard as wood and dry. no sap there to glue herself back up now.
good thing you covered the wound with grafting wax.
you still got a healthy monster on your hands. hope she pans out you man. I'll be checking in on her from time to time.
good luck and God bless.
@DASOSOSOURFER, Thank you very much I appreciate your answer really very 🙏 🏽 I have always rubbed it with natural sealing. I have now also placed aluminium foil over the open wound so that no moisture can draw in. I very much hope she grabs it
Hi my friend :-) I wish you a lot fun and good luck with your Grow :-) Hopefully there will be a lot of great diaries in this competition 🙏 🏻 🍀 I also put the intro online 👍 Let it grow 😎 :-)
@SpliffFarmer,
OK the branches are already thin but that's because of where it's growing. A breeze or shaking it helps the branches get thicker.
It's just missing a bit of light and silica (silica sand)......... but in terms of growth and its setup, it's great. So if it gets more movement, light, and silica, it will really shine.
@SpliffFarmer, you can find it at the pharmacy (online pharmacy),,, I always buy whole packages, for example from the company Flügge, which contains 200 g. COSTS AROUND 5 EUROS, there are definitely more options.
The way it looks in the photos, it's full of powdery mildew=?....... At first, you think wow, what sugar on the plant,,, but it could just as easily be powdery mildew... since it's so close to the ground and the moisture creeps up.
It often happens that the stem splits, especially with branched plants. Try to secure the branches with tape and string and seal the resulting hole with beeswax or tree wax so that no water can get in; otherwise, it could start to rot. But tying together, taping, and sealing is often enough for it to just keep growing..... I often give my big plants a trellis or build a "cage" out of bamboo to protect them from the upcoming strong winds.
