Day 15. Just posting a couple of pictures. Plant A looks good and plant B is 1 day away of been defoliated. Will post a couple more pictures in a few days.
Update 1. Day 16. I decided against defoliating the other seedling since I'll be using it as a control individual.
Update 2. Day 18. In the next 2 or 3 days I'll be potting up to 2 liter pots. I'm really liking the way the defoliate plant is developing and I'll go ahead with the other one either today or tomorrow.
Update 3. Day 20. You can see in the last pictures that the seedlings were transplanted today into 2 liter pots. The party cups were packed with roots. Let's see how they like their new home. I gave them a minor feeding after 10 days of plain water (due to a minor nute burn)
Update 4. Day 21. No signs of transplant shock, in just a day I can see a jump in their development. Even though they are small, which is good given that this is a micro grow, the defoliation has made the side shots develop up to 3 nodes of their own.
Looking good! Something went wrong with the site's messenger and I can't view our conversation anymore or send new messages. Thanks again for the insight!
@@Athos, mate, have you thought about using clones, instead of seeds? I took some from my last grow and now 1 of them is more than 30cm wide and 25/27cm tall 😉
@@Athos, not personally but a fellow grower did, she can be quite a beast. Obviously you're limited with the space and the light but should expect a decent yield under those conditions ;)
no porthos or aramis? i call dibs on porthos
this is a super duper nice looking grow for the wattage and I wouldn't be surprised if you came closer to hitting a gram per watt than not at this rate!
@Jaindoh, thanks for your support. Last run I got 0,8 gpw. This time the canopy is much fuller than last time and I'm keeping the veg bulbs during the stretch, which I didn't last time which should help in keeping the height in check, since this is a sativa strain.
You are heavily invested in GD and it's nice to see
I really like the answers you give to people who have problems 👌
and in addition you have very beautiful plants
Good job my friend really ! I wish you a beautiful harvest
if nothing else the defoliation will reduce mold risk in this cramped space
which is good cause its gonna be so full with buds!
but ime any amount more circulation/light that reaches the bud site = explosive growth
@@Athos,great. I'll be taking a look. I'm still getting smells but my box may have some small leak. Matter of fact I know it does but I was hoping a negative static pressure internally would correct the smell but it hasn't.
@Darkmanx, in this very diary on week 1 there's pictures of my original fan/filter setup. On my third run diary, on the 1st week there's a picture of both the original setup and the new one.
I plug on or the other depending on my temps / humidity.
@@Athos, I'd say about 2-3 weeks depending on where you want them trichome wise. The pistils are still shooting upwards and mostly white from what I can see, I'd say the trichomes are at 15-20% white with the rest still see through now?
@JUNGLE_B4RNS, regardless of the contest. I expect to improve my last yield (0.8 gpw) and get between 0.9 to 1 gpw, bringing this harvest between 2 and 2.5 oz.
I have a couple of planned upgrades for when I'm more confortable with my current setup, the first will be 3 more 13 watts bulbs, bringing the total flowering lights to 117 watts, allowing me to get 3.5 to 4 oz of dry bud. The second would be 3 more lights, getting me to 156 watts of lights and 5oz of bud
@JUNGLE_B4RNS, you mean if I actually manage to win the grower of the month contest? Yes it would be nice, but I probably would build a flowering box for it. I don't think my current box has enough space for it
