Planted 2 seeds only one showing up. Same grow conditions. Warming the grow bed from underneath. Maybe the other slower seed with germ to just later. If not a have a few more. Starting by placing them inside the ace hydro system. My grow media is perlite. I use this because I feel it works for me. Try it some time. I woke to find a seedling 🌱 above ground the other is on the way. Added nutrients today. The Wholly Makrel is really spicy and a little fishy. Not bad for indoors. Better than that other 💩that smells up the place. After juggling the seedlings to get the root just right I applied a moss barrier. This cut humidity quite a bit.

Yes it is happening all the time ! Generally between 24 to 72h of difference is no big deal but sometimes it can be longer.

Can anyone tell me when these 90 day autoflowers seem to start flowing? I’m going to guess maybe day 45? 🤷🏻

Some can start at week 4, others at week 6. Depends on the plant genetics!

I read somewhere that said this strain works well with a higher ph. Do different strains react better with different PH?

Hi, since they grow on a floating substrate, the Ph should go down to 5.5 -5.8 😎👍

I’ve been seeing pre flowers and showing sex early in Veg cycle. What does this mean? Unstable genetics? If so how do you fix it?

Hi there.. it's an autoflower which means that after around 4 or so weeks it will automatically start flowering, even when you don't switch to a 12/12 light cycle. That's perfectly normal, and expected behavior, because this is why the traits of the ruderalis strain was breeded in. There is no "fixing" this, as there's nothing wrong. Even with photoperiodic strains, the preflowering would probably appear around this time, which show you the sex of the plant, as it matures, but then you'd just not flip it to 12/12 for keeping it in the veg phase. Autoflowers (as the name implies) start flowering automatically, even without the flip of the light. Best advice now: Keep on growing, get ready for the early-bloom stretch and once that stretch is over, switch to bloom nutes (don't switch now, else she might not get sufficient nitrogen for the bloom stretch). happy growing!

Would you say that purple plants like cooler temps?

The purple lineage does tolerate lower temps... but I would say theres slower growth to lower temps. Less productivity to resin production and flower mass as the plant battles to keep core temps up. I'd recommend dropping the temps in late bloom like the last 2 weeks, but not the longevity of the grow.

I have a little bit of spider mites. I’ve dropped temps below 80f. What do you do for spider mites?

Thinking pink, and seeing green 😁 Might want to try lowering your feed a bit more to see if the leaves change - but you're probably a better judge of what it needs. Good to hear you're seeing growth again 👍

@HazeyBobby, thanks. Yeah these plants are real picky what they eats. I know it might seem like I’m over feeding. But check out my ppms it’s been at 580 for a weeks. Actually last night I brought it up to 700 and she seem to be doing fine.

love the wrestling match :) looks to me like nute burn or heat stress. Nice to grow two of the same strain to note the differences. Enjoy your grow 👍

@HazeyBobby, thanks man. Yeah it’s been hot af here. I got it back down to 79f. The ppf is at 500 so no burn. However these leaves to tend to fold. I heard this is a trait of the strain. Not sure.
