Week 2 and they are looking good. Unfortunately I burned one by spilling nutes on the leaves of one but thankfully she's recovering nicely. I think i'm going to manifold these girls so I'll let them get some good growth before we do anyting crazy!
I have two very different plants here. One of my clones has grown almost perfectly symmetrical, so I've topped her and think I will do a mainline. She seems really healthy and happier now that I potted up the other day. I did dial back the CALMAG a bit though to drop the nitrogen. The other plant has no symmetry at all so no mainlining or mainfolding for her (at least not with my skills!) but is having a lot of trouble. A fellow grower advised me to dial back the mixture, so for that plant I've dropped down to just plain RO water that has been PH'd down. Going to give her that for a few days to try and get her back on track. She looks better now but only cause I removed the damaged/dead leaves. Her stems are pretty skinny and she doesn't have a lot of strength but I'm hopeful I can bring her back. Not sure if she is from the same plant as the other CD I have but I am sort of guessing that since the other 3 plants I have with her seem to be doing ok. I also have 2 mothers running on the same formula and they are super happy and healthy.
Anywho, I'm going to give one of them the plain water for a couple days to make sure I clean out whatever may be causing the problem, then start her back on a lower dose of the good stuff.
Still having some trouble dialing everything in with these guys. The front one is definitely doing better but has had a rough go. Earlier this week I flushed her out for a few days with just PH'd water and she has greened up a bit from the yellow she was previously. still slow growth though so not sure if still recovering or if something else is up. Definitely had my nutes up too high so I've dialed them back by 20% to see if that helps a bit. The chemdawg in the back is doing better at least but still a little slow on the growth. Some of this was caused by my lights too intense. I've since dialed them back and raised them a bit, which has definitely helped. now I'm hoping that dialing down the nutes will get me back on track. I have the spread out nicely with LST so if I can figure out the magic combination I should be in good shape.

So I think I'm on the right track now. They both look much better after dropping the nute mix. The leaves still look a little on the light side but that may just be still recovery. Really hoping I have it dial right now so they can recover and I can flip them to flower.

Still looking good on the new mix. They look happy and are getting very bushy!
Well here we go! Flipped the lights last night and started the new nute mix yesterday. They aren't looking too bad even after I gave them a good haircut earlier this week. Excited to see what comes next. This is my second grow, but I've changed a bunch so its like the first time all over again!

So I ended up flushing these girls with about 5 litres each cause I was not liking their color. My other plants are having some nitrogen issues so I opted to flush these too. After the flush I mixed up a new batch that is 50% of the recommended full dose. that's about double the last drop I did so here's hoping thats what I need. Also found a couple of crazy looking leaves...hopefully not a sign of something else. :|
Major defoliation today. Failed an exam and took out my frustrations on gardening. That really should be the bulk of the trimming needed as I removed a ton of tiny bud sites and short cola's not making the light. Flushed them this week already to try and fix the nitrogen issue I was having. We shall see I suppose.
I was away last week and so my better half was in charge of the girls. She did a bunch of trimming which I think is amazing. Compared to my last batch, these girls look much more manicured. My better half did a ton of trimming in the last batch and does not want to do that again, hence all the trimming. Definitely got some pretty buds showing up now so I've changed the mix over to concentrate on buds now that the stretch is over. Not much smell yet but I think that will change soon.
Took them a few days to recover from the trimming last weekend. They were sucking up crazy amounts of water with no runoff. Finally today it seems like they are finally satisfied and going back to a more normal amount of water. buds are looking pretty good so far. Tucked a bunch of leaves down to get the bud sites a bit more light so they can grow up big and strong! :)

took some more leaves off of them today to give them some breathing room. Hopefully I didn't stress them out again as I want to take more leaves off but its getting late. If they accept this trimming I'll do some more this weekend.
Not looking too bad so far. Could have taken more leaves for sure but still trying to find out how much is enough. Next round I will be a bit more aggressive. Some nice looking buds though. Hopefully they will gain lots of girth this week!
Looking nice and smelling better! coming into the home stretch now! just a couple weeks left and we should be good to harvest. I forgot that I had dimmed my lights for veg, so I cranked up the wattage again now for the last few weeks. Curious if that will make a difference this late in the game.

so far no ill effects from the lights. Looking and smelling good!
Starting to see some more caramel color coming through now rather than just the white. Not looking too bad and starting to stink quite a bit. Previously I could only really smell the other 2 I have going in with these. They've really fattened up over the last couple of days too. going to be a good batch I think!
Been away for a few weeks on vacation & travel for work so It's been a while since I updated. Sorry about that!
Tapered off most of the nutes as per the canna instructions to get the girls to ripen up. Looking really good and huge buds on top! Very close to being done I think.
The flush started earlier this week for these girls and they are now ready to go. Shut the lights off this afternoon and will be giving them the chop tomorrow. Looking like a good haul this time! I will update again once I've started the cure and weighed them out.
