Used paper towel method for germination and add abit of enhancer to my water.
Then potted sprouts into pint cup with 50/50 mix of coco and worm castings drenched the medium with water and added ecothrive biosys.
Sprinkled on top of medium was some great white shark 🦈
In a 1m x 1m tent, Lumii 315w , (using marshydro SP150 in flower stage), secret Jardin fan, carbon filter, intake fan 5”, humidifier.
So out of the four seeds popped last week three where successful in rooting.
Added a sprinkle of great white shark to help with root stimulation and just water.
Root are starting to show on the side of the cup so almost time to transplant to bigger pots (moving into fabric pots)
Transplanted in to fabric 20l pots with feeding powder at a low dosage. But unfortunately one transplant didn’t go to plan and part of the tap root snapped (but not going to give up on her yet)
1L of water in cups
4L of water in fabric pots 20L
33g bio grow
Starting to grow at a quick rate now and fan leafs getting bigger.
Topped at 5th node on both plants with a little bit of low stress training.
The broken taproot plant leaving that alone no topping and Very little LST.
15L of water with enhancer 15g
Took off a 2 shades leafs.
Plants are going well no deficiencies growing bigger every day, hopefully with the topping and LTS done for now, I should see bigger bushier plants next week.
Just Water This week 8L each plant twice a week.
Any questions you may have fire away????
So as I said last week it happened my plants became bushier 😊
So the new shoots i have topped them now so we make double the amount of heads and that’s topping done for here on out ✅
The broken tap root plant is fighting strong and is still growing just at a stunted rate but I will give her everything I can to make her still blooom!!!
We have now started tying the plant stems down to start making the SEA OF GREEN.
Applied my top up top dressing of bio grow to push to the end of my veg stage ✅ when applying my top dressing I added some worm castings to help.
If you look at one bird eyes view picture you will see a cream bit of tap rapped round the stem this is because one of my stem stapped abit to far so to stabilise it I do this worked well in the past.
9L of water per plant
So this week it was time for the girls to get a hair cut. (Defoliation) Took all bottom leaves and lower stems off.
At the end of this week it time to put them in 24hr of darkness then for the flip to flower stage 🙌
Throughout my veg stage I have had no problems or deficiencies With the plant at this moment in time green house feed is working wonders, they may have converted me to there range of feed but only time will tell.
9L per plant of water with enhancer 27G
24hr darkness and Flipping week 🙌
So all 3 went into 24hours of darkness before flipping to 12-12 light schedule.
For this stage flower I have added another light to in which is marshydro SP150 along side the Lumii 315 to help with the budding.
Added 3G of bio bloom to 1L of soil. Added it 3days in to flower stage just to make sure the plant had used all of the bio grow.
Been really busy week for me in and out the grow room and unfortunately didn’t take many pictures.
First I had my no competition plant hermy on me so IT got the CHOP & the KICK!
But the other 3 competition plant looking good pistols have started firing off And buds slowly starting to form.
And stretch is over now time for the fruits to get all the attention.
Gave it them all a haircut at 21days!!!
This week the crystal have started to appear 🤩 and buds slowly filling out and getting bigger.
Adding enhancer to water this week
Plant 1/2:
Looking strong drinking around 5L every 3days
Broken tap root plant:
Has gone crystalie asf look in pictures
Want to know more put a comment in the bottom 💚
Buds have now exploded but unfortunately one plant seem to start showing early signs of bud rot so going to add more air movement and do abit more defoliation.
Apart from that 1/2weeks left till harvest 😁
So this week the bud rot took the life of two colas that I had to chop off
But plants are looking healthy the one that I was concerned about look like it slowly healing had to add 1g of bio grow just to boost it nitrogen levels.
Still might harvest a week early depending on what the thc crystals look like.
Growing report:
The growth through veg stage was amazing couldn’t fault the plant or the feed BUT then flower stage is where these genetics goes all wrong! So two weeks into flower I see one plant had Hermied, so gave this one the axe, and then spoke to acouple of other growers that have the same strain Had the same problem So it’s now named (hermie pie) then in week 5 all plants Hermied. I managed to keep the seeds at bay mostly and slow down the process of them seeding until harvest on week 7/8 I got signs of bud rot but dealt with that quick enough it didn’t damage the rest of the the harvest. Once harvested they got a light trimming then hung up for 5/6days at temperatures 20/28 and humidity 45/60.
Used Trimbag for the rest of the trimming process, got 6oz off 3plants 😬 curing for 2weeks in one ounce Jars 75% full.
Bud report:
Smell; is sweet and tangy
Taste; sweet spicy taste
Density of buds out of 10; 8.
Some seeds found in buds😞
Thank you all for watching another stressful but fun and learning harvest.
