Node spacing pretty tight, bit of leaf tucking and tied some leaves over for lower bud sites to get more light. Noticed pre flower white pistils around 5/12/20.
Basically flowering the whole week, before flower really took off I top dressed a heavy feed of Roots Organic Foundation, Grow, and Bloom. Since then I do Foundation and Bloom only, Recharge once a week on Wednesday. Water only in between top dressings.
So we are in week 6 currently. I believe I switched to bloom nutes too early which potentially caused nitrogen deficiency, and also noticed early signs of cal-mag type deficiency. I plan to make improvements on my next grow based on what I've learned through this one!
Week 7, the very early beginnings of the pistils turning red. Continuing to fatten up, I think I probably hurt my end yield when I created the nitrogen deficiency as flower started. Either way the terpenes are smelling soo nice, gonna be a good smoke cant wait!
I am curious to know when to stop amending the soil as the buds get closer to ideal "ripeness"? Once the pistil tips start changing to red should I consider making my last feed and start flushing? I've read on ILGM.com that autoflowers typically finish around 10 weeks..

I think that when the trichomes are 30% clear and 70% cloudy you can start to flush the girls with water.
By the time the girls ripe to 30%amber 70%cloudy you have flushed the girls for long enough! Should take about 2 weeks
Im backwards on this, putting new pics at beginning of week instead of end... either way, everything is going great, buds filling out and smelling glorious. Trichomes still mostly clear with some cloudy, very small percentage of amber.
Entering week 9, and the trichomes are starting to become mostly cloudy with a little amber mixed in!! Gave the last top dress on 6/24, just did the weekly Recharge today 6/28. The rest from here on out will be PH balanced water, I'll probably continue the CalMag until the last watering before harvest. Depending on how fast the trics continue to change I will probably harvest between now and next weekend!! Cant wait!
Growing this plant was surprisingly easy for me as a first time grower. Space was definitely a concern and based on the lights specs I chose to mount the light fixed as high as possible, and adjust height under the plant. The nugs aren't as dense as I'd hoped for, but definitely not lacking in stickiness. I'm torn between wondering if the light should have been closer, or if it truly was lack of bloom booster type nutrients. I made plenty of mistakes along the way and have a lot to improve, but it was definitely amazing FINALLY seeing the whole grow cycle from start to finish! Definitely pumped to start #2!
