Hello Everyone and welcome to week four of my Bubbaslush by Green House Seeds This week everything went well with wonderful weather the whole week. Watering quantity has been increased and everything looks healthy. Now what I'm trying to figure out is what type or style of growing I will do with this. I will almost certainly do LST but wether to top or mainline I'm unsure. With the growth so far mainlining probably is not the best but iv seven weeks of veg left so that could change over the next few weeks. Any input or suggestions are welcome. Only problem was I lost my mid-week pictures and a grasshopper had a visit but didn't do any damage. So all is well.. Thanks for checking out my grow..

Could be spillage from nutrient water. If not then she's lacking in calcium. ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ‘

@DaSofaSurfer, Hey man thanks for the input. I'm growing outside so I can't control the temperature but iv been bring then inside every night so there being kept at 15-17* at night time now and iv noticed a improvement already. But that doesn't seam to be the problem and now every one of mine is showing a problem or has had a bad hit of one and is in a bad way. Iv been on top of what I can control and I'm doing it to the book. The only thing I can't change or fix is the premixed nutrients in the soil so I don't know if its because of to much something or not enough.. I'm struggling man with my health and I was using this as an escape and something to look faward to but it's kicking me big time. Everything is showing a different problem and there all getting and are in the same stuff... Just water besides the premix. I don't know what to do

@Dupo_1, hello my friend. Could your problems be due to Vapor Pressure Deficit? I mean I just saw your night temps are down to 12ยฐ that's quite chilly bro. Even your day light temps could use a bump tbh. Try putting a small space heater on low setting. If might be just that simple, if it's not you won't lose anything apart from a couple bucks on your utility bill make sure to monitor your thermal amplitude for first couple of days just to be safe and have peace of mind your temps are sound. I'm pretty sure u'll benefit greatly from extra 7 degrees on your max temp and 15 on your min temp. I bet it's taking up little water and with little water comes little nutrients. Best of luck, Jah bless brother.

Growbuddy, don't get disheartened, you seem to be getting back on track.๐Ÿ‘ Others have offered sensible advice here, however, part of your problem could be choosing a pot size that is too small to feed a plant for an 8 week veg period. If using an organic feeding method (i.e. prepping the soil and then just watering) I would recommend using at least a 25 ltr (5-7 gallon) pot or bigger. I have used BioBizz All Mix Soil with a half dose of Green House Feeding BioGrow (about 30 grams in a 25 litre pot) without any defeciencies or issues. Looking at your photos , IF, PH issues can be ruled out (is your PH pen properly calibrated?), then it looks like a mobile deficiency mostly affecting the old growth at the bottom of the plant. Mobile deficiencies affect nitrogen, phosphorous. potassium, magnesium and molybdenum. A great many issues can be caused by incorrectly PH'd feeding solution which can create nutrient lock outs, which look like deficiencies, so you throw more whatever at it and make the problem even worse. Start with PH (check and calibrate your equipment); then look at potting up into a quality soil and see how things go. Every grower has grows that go seriously FUBAR (your is not one of these!) and in many ways these are the times when we learn the most as growers. Every one of us comes out of a tricky grow, a better grower.

@Dupo_1, That all sounds good ๐Ÿ‘ Often it is better to 'reset' the growing conditions rather than to try and fix what can sometimes be complex problems. That is what you have done here and during veg (when you can get away with a lot) so hopefully you will be well set up for flower. I would recommend 35 grams of GHF BioBloom mixed well in with your soil and then feed GHF Enhancer every two weeks along with a cal/mag supplement (half dose for cal/mag once a week). Keep monitoring your run off - if it is between 6 and 7 (aim for 6.5) then you are good. The soil will also act as a natural buffer for PH but you should still ensure every thing you put into the soil/pot is properly PH'd. Aim for 25 litre airpots or fabric pots for future grows which will help negate any deficiency issues. If you are growing outside choose white pots if you can as they reflect heat and keep the roots from getting too hot. No thanks required, I needed a lot of help when I started (and often still do!) and the cannabis community has always been very generous to me.

@Interalia666, Thank you again for trying to help me out. I did as you suggested and re-potted into the 14.5lt pot with good quality soil with sufficient perlite. I also checked ph in and it was 6.5 and ph out was 6.2. I have also ordered a new pH pen, up and down and calibration powder. I also checked the pH with paper just as a second opinion if my pen is way out. The water going in was between 6-7, stayed orange with a small green mark. I then made a little puddle in the topsoil, placed paper inside and watered with 6.5 and it didn't change at all. Then with the run off it was the same, didn't change color so this seems to be OK, between 6-7. I will cheack again once my new equipment arrives but hopefully I see significant improvement before then. As for feeding iv left it alown for now and will give it some Enhancer next week and then some Green House feeding BioBloom once it starts preflowering at the dose you recommend. Thank you again for taking the time to help me out, honestly it's really kind of you

@Dupo_1, When I am trying to sort my own problems out, I always start with the simple basic things and then slowly build up from there. At its most basic we want our growing medium to be in perfect health which means enough macro and micro nutirents to sustain the plant coupled with a perfect PH level within the soil (test your run off). This provides your plant with enough primary sources of nourishment and managing your PH levels allow the plant to access those nutrients with ease. Potting up to a 15 litre pot will immediately help your plant which will have double the substrate (use a good quality soil) to spread her toes. Based on the fact that you mention that your days are shortening and you expect signs of flowering within the next three weeks; I would only use BioBloom (around 35 - 40 grams for 15 litres) well mixed in and just water at PH 6.5 at the moment. There should be enough nitrogen in the additional 7.5 litres of fresh soil that you are adding but watch your leaves for signs of yellowing. Always look at your new growth to check your progress. You can top dress with more BioBloom (1 gram per litre) at the third week of flower if you have a cultivar that requires a flowering period of longer than 8 weeks. Keep using 'Enhancer' every other week until flush. Raise your pot off the floor with a bit of wood which will help water drainage from the pot, airation of the roots and also insultate the roots from the cold floor a little. Almost all cannabis plants universally loathe the cold! This may not fix your issues but it is the kind of approach that I would take as a preliminary step towards an eventual diagnosis.

Happy trails man. That strain is so beautiful to grow. Mine did it's 3rd week yesterday but since I started in rookwool it's considerably bigger than yours. It's incredible. I've never seen a prettier plant than the BubbaSlush. Yours looks happy and healthy. If you're like me who never grew this strain before.... prepare to fall in love with her

@Dupo_1, sounds great. I can't wait to see your dry box/contraption. Don't blow the fan directly on the buds tho. I learnt that the hard way

@DaSofaSurfer, Couldn't agree with you more. I'm hooked and ya your completely right I enjoy growing as much as enjoying the finished result. Ya I'm doing as mush research as I can and I believe iv got a good understanding to the whole process. Before I decided to start this I did understand that the dry/curing process can make or brake your grow and iv experienced smoking great looking but bad smoke and not great looking and lovely smoke more then once. I was going to do it by using a big box with two flaps cut into it, one top and bottom opposite side. String it up inside for hanging and have a desk fan on low a meter or so away from it blowing in the bottom flap and leave it in a dark neutral room for ten days. The room will saty around 15-17*c with a window slightly open during the day. And then jars in a dark spot with burping for how ever long it takes. Iv also got a small air temperature and humidity gauge that I can put in the box and jars to monitor. Hopefully this will be sufficient. Thanks again for your input, I really appreciate it. I didn't know what to expect when starting on here but with the community being so open and helpful, this is one of the best decisions iv made in a good while.. Thanks again buddy

@Dupo_1, that's awesome Growmie. U found yourself a hobby that will give you a lifetime of pleasure. I promise you it will never get old. You certainly landed a banger strain for your first grow. If you've done your homework you're gonna be fine. It's not rocket science and if you've got any problems or doubts there's plenty of good ppl here willing to help. myself included. I'm gonna tell you my first three grows weren't the greatest but they were pretty good. I too had done my homework. I would call it Instagram weed tho great for taking pics but the smoke itself was like...meh I was doing everything correctly but then I threw away all that time and effort by not monitoring my temp/humidity parameters when it came time to dry/cure. Once I did tho. That's when I started to pull consistent dank. No better feeling. I still don't have an air conditioner or dehumidifier (kind of) but I found a way around it that works for me. That was my experience. You'll have yours. Tbh I enjoy the path just as much as the destination. Growing gives me almost same joy as taking the medicine.best of luck and happy trails.

@@Resin_Randy, thank you man.. I know right iv had terrible luck with this almost right from the start. Up to week three was good then each week delivered a new problem, couldn't catch a break. I think now I should just kill it off because its just hard and frustrating to look at.. On another note yours look amazing!! If I had one tenth of what you've got going on I would be a very happy man. Keep it up

@BipolarHellas, thank you man it honestly means alot, even more that we don't know each other. Support from your fellow man, really thank you.. Update on the plant, the yellowing has spread to the next node so I don't know what to do. I'm thinking of flushing it and see if it helps but I just don't know. Sometimes I think of starting a new seed but then should I battle on with this and let that be part of learning and the journey

In order to fight the kitty... We must think like the kitty.. The kitty likes the green foliage that is all.. He likes to eat his veggies on occasion.. So I'd recommend getting Cat grass (grass lol). And putting a few pots of cat grass around your plants... The Cat will eat the grass first because he is lazy :).
