day 8: transferred the jiffies into 1-gallon pouches with Plagron.. never used it before, so i wanted to give it a try.. it's a pre-fertilized mix, so it shouldn't require feeding for a few weeks. time will tell how this works out.. i thoroughly flushed the mix before adding the plants, so there won't be any nute-burn straight away. added the tiniest amount of voodoo juice, tarantula, piranha and b-52 with the first watering (about 100ml each plant).. the keen eye will notice that there's another pouch on the top-right. that's a photo-period (not yet sexed) white widow, that will move out of this box soon and most likely will get it's own space.. day 10: gave them each 0.1 liter of plain PH'd RO water day 13 they each got about 0.1 liter of PH'd RO water with some voodoo juice, piranha, b-52 and tarantula again..

beginning of a new week, nice and compact growth under the 50w COB.. the three ladies seem to enjoy it.. evening of day 15: they have been fed again with PH'd RO water, with Calmag day 18: they again got some PH'd RO water with Calmag.. in the afternoon they have been moved to the smaller box with the 36w LED (instead of the 50w led), because the White Haze needed more space than what the small box could provide. day 21: I know they aren't very happy inside the small 1 gallon pouches, and that keeps them from growing taller, but the 2x2 tent i ordered has still not been shipped, and might still take a while.. with that in mind they have to stay in the small box, therefore in the small pouches, but that's ok.. :)

day 22, a new week.. i know i should have repotted them a while ago as those 1 gallon pouches keep them from growing much, but given they're in the small box now, I'll keep them there.. day 23: they got some watering with PH'd RO water (+calmag) again.. I talked to the people from Plagron and was told that in the royalmix there is some cal and mag, but values are based on regular water, so when using RO water it's still good to add a small amount of calmag back in day 25: the plants are a bit wet, because i bought a mini usb-humidifier to put inside the box and left it on last evening (until either the power-bank or the reservoir dries out), so that didn't "dry out" before the light went back on.. RH went up from the low 40's to the 70's though :) day 26: they got some PH'd RO water again..

day 29 - a new week starts.. two of the plants have started getting taller, while the smaller one stays pretty compact - i believe it's just her genetics. I know they are stretching a bit, as they share the small box with the 36w light, but as long as i haven't received the delivery of my 60x60 tent that's what they'll have to stay in. day 30: one of the ladies started to show the first pistils, so it's official: preflowering has started for her. They could really need the bigger tent, as I have the feeling the single light is definitely not enough for all 3 of them. One plant would be fine, but with 3 they all miss the hotspot and start stretching a bit too much, creating bigger internode-space for my taste.. day 32: ok, so i still haven't received my 60x60 tent yet, and the 3 ladies got much too crowded inside the small box, so i have decided that they're temporarily allowed to move into my 100x100x180 under the 240W 288 (301b with 660nm) quantum boards as long as they aren't smelly.. i currently don't have a filter that's suitable for that size tent, only one that's meant for the 60x60x160.. also i did install the Blumat-Tropf system the day before yesterday for automatic watering so that's why there's a box in there (to put up the reservoir).. day 34: i did some light lst on the two bigger of the plants, and on the smaller one i just cut off two of the bigger leaves on top to let some light get to the lower nodes.. the yellow tips on the one plant (and one half-yellowing/half-green leaf on another) are due to light/heat stress inside the box they were in before.. that's the reason why i moved them.

day 36: a new week for the ladies and they are definitely in bloom now. Currently they are still only getting RO water with some calmag (to 0.4 mS) added, and the pre-fertilization from the Plagron royalmix seems to hold up fine.. it's supposed to last 6 weeks and so far so good, but obviously this means i need to keep a closer eye on them, for being able to jump in and start feeding them, once it's been used up. The blumat-tropf system works great. day 37: since the lower leaves start yellowing very lightly, this indicates to me that the prefertilization of the Plagron mix is slowly depleting, so i have changed the water in the blumat-reservoir from RO/calmag only to a proper GHE nutrient solution, with AN additives.. EC i set to 0.8, PH 5.9. They advertise with the mix being pre-fertilized for 6 weeks, so that's pretty much right on point. also the White Widow that had initially shared a box when they were young, and has reunited with them last week in the tent has reached maturity and has started to pre-flower (it was a non-feminized photoperiodic seed) and has shown that she's a female! day 39: i have noticed some brown flakes inside the reservoir, and i believe this might have been due to the sensizym (if not that, then definitely one of the AN additives mixing with the rest, or letting it stand with the air-bubbler for a few days), so i decided to mix a small batch of base-nutrients with the AN additives and manually water them 250ml each (total EC 0.7), and only put the base-nutrients (GHE/calmag) into the reservoir for the blumat-system. (This time with EC 0.8, the next change will be raised a bit). day 41: It seems pretty clear to me that the Plagron nutrients are almost depleted. Given that it's my first grow with Plagron royalmix, I knew that once it'd end i would have to test a bit and see what EC i need to feed them with now. That'll just be trial and error and to slowly raise it up. Also i did some light defoliation.

day 43: a new week started for these ladies.. yesterday the reservoir was almost empty, so i renewed it with a bit of a higher EC of 1.2. Not sure how many nutrients are left in the Plagron, but given that a lot of the medium is rather dry thanks to the Blumat-Tropf system, I thought i'd give them some more than i initially planned (which was 1.0 mS). I think in future, i will just start feeding during week 5 in Plagron, but let's see how they like this amount of nutrients and if it's enough. day 44: i manually fed them each about 1/3rd of a liter of a mix of base-nutrients plus AN additives (total EC 0.7), while they're still on the Blumat-tropf system that feeds them just base-nutrients at 1.2 mS. day 45 in the morning: i refilled the reservoir with nutrient-solution again (EC 1.2 mS) day 46 at night: again i had to refill the reservoir with nutrient-solution (EC 1.2 mS).. last time i filled it up with only around 6 liters, now it's almost 8. day 49: one of them shows some darker spots on some of the leaves, and i think this is still a deficiency from the cutover from the prefertilization to the manual fertilization.. should have done this sooner. the other two look fine. I also filled up the reservoir again with nutrient solution.

day 50: a new week started, and the deficiency on the one plant can be seen much better now.. as stated before, i think this has to do with missing the cutover time from pre-fertilization to manual feeding.. it did not seem to effect new growth, but more existing growth, so i'm not really worried in any way. after taking the pictures i did some defoliation and removed most of the leaves that showed the deficiency, as well as some that were blocking the light (also on the other two plants). day 51: they each got 1/3 liter of a 1/2 strength mix of AN additives (B-52, big bud, bud candy, carbo load, rhino skin and sensizym). I also exchanged the reservoir again with base-nutrients (GHE and calmag). day 54: i started noticing some trichomes on one of the ladies.. :)

day 64: the last week passed so quickly again..nothing new here, they're still getting their base-nutrients (RO with AN calmag and GHE flora-series) at around EC 1.2 via the Blumat-tropf system.. day 65: they got their extra feeding with AN nutrients again.. day 68: did some defoliation..

day 71: another week starts.. how quickly this all goes.. there's not much to report.. they still look good to me. maybe a bit on the "dark-green" side, but they're getting an EC of around 1 to 1.2 in their reservoir, and have otherwise no signs of excess nutrients.. Maybe i'll play around with trying to lower the amount of nitrogen a bit in future.. I also defoliated in the evening day 72: they got their weekly share of AN nutrients again.. day 73: i switched their watering to only RO water with light calmag (so no more base-nutrients).. this basically means the "flushing" has begun day 76: another reservoir change with RO and light calmag (EC 0.3, PH 5.8).. i also decided to add a few more pictures of the various budsites on the three plants.. the biggest of the 3 plants has some serious foxtailing happening, but given that it's on multiple buds (also the lower ones) and none of the typical "bad" signs like lightburn or similar can be seen, i'm pretty sure it's genetical, so nothing to worry about.. :)

day 78, new week - there's not too much change currently happening.. she's only getting RO water with light calmag and no more nutrients for a few days now already, and there will not be any more AN additives either.. I think she should be done in about a weeks time day 79: instead of their regular share of AN additives on Wednesdays, today they each got about 1/3rd of a liter of RO water with Florakleen evening of day 81: i flushed the three ladies with quite a high amount of regular water (in the shower) to eliminate any last possible buildup of nutrients in the medium. Now it's just waiting until they're done.. looking at the trichomes it might still take a bit longer than i initially thought, as they're still mostly cloudy (some even clear) and i have only seen some rare few amber ones, but i'm in no rush.. RO water with very light calmag (this also lowers the PH) is the plan until then..

day 85 - a few more days to go.. the trichomes are still all clear and cloudy, and almost none are amber yet.. given they only get water and no more nutrients it's now just a waiting game and i will give them a few more days to pull the last nutrients out of her leaves.. day 87 - noticed some mould on the main-cola of one of the plants so i decided to harvest all 3 of them..

Week 13. Harvest

Happy Harvest Day!

Growing was rather easy, unfortunately one of them (the smallest one) showed some bud rot/mold on the main cola. I can't put that on the strain though. Even though i kept the humidity around 50% with my dehumidifier i think it sometimes went a bit too high and in the dense bud it never dried out sufficiently. I was still able to harvest some of the side-buds off that plant and the other two plants were fine. the smoke is great and given that i have harvested it rather early (not many amber trichomes), it's definitely a head high that makes us very giggly and talkative.. i prefer that over the couch-lock stonedness, and this one is great!

I noticed some mold on one of the plants this morning, so i decided to harvest them all.. unfortunately i had to toss majority of the main-cola of the smallest of the three plants, so that definitely had an impact on the amount of harvest, but the rest seemed to be all good.. Just to be on the safe side i separated the one that did have the mold, so it's drying in a different box than the other two plants. edit: after 4 days of drying around 45% RH they seem to be good, and ready for the curing process.. final weight was 100.2 grams, which is "ok" given that they did share the tent with 3 other plants (so the amount of light and surface area doesn't really match), and the fact that i had to toss the main cola of one of the plants due to bud-rot, which i believe would have given me another approximately 30grams dry.

@ijustdontgiveaf, Much obliged bud'... keeping a decent variety on hand for my patients can be taxing. You can't go wrong with those Sensi beans. They'll always maintain solid genetics. Rock on & keep growing great. 🌿💪👌

@Highlaing, thanks! I need to get them a bit more light, so i hope my other tent will be delivered soon. This box is a bit too small for the 3 of them, while they're all at rather different heights.

@Nor_Cal_Kannabliss, thanks.. it's my first time using a pre-fertilized soilless medium (Plagron royalmix) and it's supposed to be pre-fertilized for 6 weeks, but i think i somehow missed the "cutover" time to feeding them manually, so they have some light signs of deficiencies.. also the irrigation method is new, so there are a few things that were a bit hit and miss. nothing to worry about though, and for the next set of plants that i'll put into this setup, i know what to adjust ;)
