2018 CLOSET GROW – GLUEBERRY - Autoflower (2018) Growing under 2 - 300W Bloomspect LEDS, 1 - 135W BlackStar UFO LED, and 3 - 4' T5 HO (early veg & side-lighting during flower). Added a passive intake system that consists of a Suncourt 8" ThruWall Exhaust Fan (high in closet) and a 8" x 12" Air Intake Grille (low in closet). Also added a Holmes Twin Window Fan with Comfort Control Thermostat that has both intake and exhaust options for each fan. This set up will keep temperature and CO2 levels consistent. Growing in 3 gallon fabric grow pots filled with 60% Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil, 30% Perlite, and 10% Worm Castings. For waterings, added 1/2 teaspoon of SuperThrive to 3 gallons water aerated/bubbled for 24-48 hours. No other nutrients will be added until week 3. GLUEBERRY Glueberry is an exceptional cross of Gorrilla Glue #4 and Blueberry, this 50/50 hybrid has a great structure during grow stage with an Indica structure. The aroma is very distinctive, strong Blueberry and Pine. She produces medium to large dense buds which are covered in trichomes, and gives you a strong body high with a great stone effect which makes this strain great for pain relief. Genetics: Gorrilla Glue #4 and Blueberry (50% Indica / 50% Sativa) THC averages 18% to 25% Flowering Time: 60 – 70 days LEAFLY Reviews - 4.7 / 5 Two Time Cannabis Cup Winner 2nd Place Indica - Home Grown Cup Netherlands Seed Company - Expert Seeds

Day 12 of organic grow and all is well. Seemed to have dialed in the conditions and able to keep good air movement, CO2 levels, and consistent temperatures/humidity with the ThruWall Closet Fan (Model TW108 ), and the Holmes Twin Exhaust/Intake Fan (Model HAWF-2041). Humidity is maintained with a Lovoit 6L Ultrasonic Programmable Cool Mist Humidifier (Model# LV600HH). Added a SCROG screen (just a cargo net) and bought the Sample Pack of organic nutrients from Nectar for the Gods (just pay shipping and they will send you the sample nutrients - check out the website). People say their line of nutrients make the buds smell and taste like no other! I have always been an organic Earth Juice nutrient guy, so I am going to experiment with combining the two. Lights are on 24/0 and she has tight internodal spacing with good vertical growth. Room that closet is in is beginning to smell skunky at times, and like diesel at other times. Will begin light organic nutrients with next watering. If you made it this far, please check out my other autoflower grows. Day 13 - Watered today with very low strength nutrients added. - Zannabis7

Day 20 – The Glueberry Autoflower grow continues to thrive in the current closet grow setup. She has nearly doubled in height since the beginning of week 2. Have not added any nutrients other than Recharge (living soil microbe), Cal/Mag, and SuperThrive. Have been watering approximately every 3-4 days. Side shoots are becoming abundant and will begin some leaf tucking in the coming week to expose these side shoots to more light, create more fully developed bud sites, and to promote a more even canopy. - Zannabis7

Day 21 - Set up an automatic watering/feeding system so that plants can be easily watered with SCROG net in place. This will also water/feed plants while traveling or away for longer durations. The watering system can be found on Amazon - STOH Micro Automatic Drip Irrigation Kit/Self Watering System with 30-Day Timer. Link follows: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0743F4532/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Day 22 – Fed with Nectar for the Gods nutrients, Recharge (soil microbes), and SuperThrive. Aerated the mix with aquarium air pump (two stones) for approximately 15 minutes prior to feed. Day 23–Looking healthy enough to begin some defoliation, leaf tucking, and bending of the main stem under the SCROG net. Defoliation to remove some of the fan leaves to allow for some air movement/circulation as plant had such tight internodal spacing. Leaf tucking to assist with side flower exposure. Bending of the main stem under the SCROG net to assist in creating an even canopy. Day 26 - Fed with the same Nectar of the Gods based regimen but increased the Herculean Harvest. Added Bloom Khaos and a 1/2 teaspoon Recharge. Continued with some leaf tucking to expose flower sites. She's a healthy one - the fan leaves are quite large for day 26. - Zannabis7

Day 28 – The Glueberry Auto continues to do well but seems to be flowering a little slower than the other strains in this grow. She is pushing numerous side branches that will make for great side branch flower/bud development. Have continued with some minor leaf tucking and have been directing the side branches into different squares of the SCROG net in an attempt to create a fairly even canopy. Added a G8LED 90 Watt Red Flower Booster UFO light to the closet to assist with the flowering stage. Lowered the 300 Watt Bloomspect LEDs and angled them slightly to mix with the two UFO (red) flowering LEDs. Continuing to feed the Nectar of the Gods nutrients mixed with Recharge (soil microbes) and aerated with aquarium air pump (two stones) for approximately 15 minutes prior to feed. She is starting to drink more and have been watering/feeding approximately every 3 days. – Zannabis7 Day 29 - Fed Nectar of the Gods nutrients mixed with Recharge (soil microbes) and aerated with aquarium air pump (two stones) for approximately 15 minutes prior to feed. - Zannabis7 Day 31 - Starting to drink more. Light feeding of straight Recharge today. - Zannabis7 Day 33 - Fed Nectar for the Gods regimen with increased Herculean Harvest dosage. The plants are loving the organic CALCIUM based nutrients. Will update to week 6 tomorrow (02/04/2017) - Zannabis7

Day 35 – The Glueberry Auto is really starting to throw some pistols and her bud development is beginning to come along nicely. She continues to stretch as she has gained over 6" in height this week. Continuing to feed the Nectar for the Gods nutrients and have added Triton’s Trawl (liquid fishbone meal that is rich in calcium from fish cartilage and is designed to deliver flavor, aroma and color to the finished product) and Aphrodite’s Extraction (a rich blend of sucrose, fructose, chelated nutrients, and organic acids necessary for enzymatic activity, and a complete balance of vitamins A, C, D, E, B1, B6 and B12, which are essential to a plants’ biological growth processes). These two additions are known to increases oil, resin, frost, and terpene production in flower. Continuing to add Recharge as a soil amendment to establish colonies of beneficial fungal and bacterial microbes. Temperatures are consistently between 74° - 78° and humidity between 30% - 45%. Soil pH is 6.5 and PPMs at 321 which is perfect for the Nectar for the Gods nutrient line. Added a homemade Co2 generator to boost carbon dioxide levels and to improve overall plant growth and health. – Zannabis7 Day 36 - Fed the Nectar of the Gods nutrients as indicated above and in photo. Added Recharge to the nutrient mix for microbes and to aid in the breakdown and uptake of nutrients. - Zannabis7 Day 39 - Fed the Nectar of the Gods nutrients as indicated above and in photo. Again added Recharge to the nutrient mix for microbes and to aid in the breakdown and uptake of nutrients. Also did some very light defoliation and more leaf tucking to expose flower sites - Zannabis7

Day 45 – The Glueberry Auto continued to stretch this week gaining approximately 6 inches in vertical growth in a little over a week. She is also throwing out some killer translucent white pistils and is beginning to stack on some nice bud formations. Trichomes are starting to thicken and she has a nice size main stem that seems ready to support some serious flowers (let's hope)! Continuing to feed the Nectar for the Gods nutrients with some added Recharge as a soil amendment to establish colonies of beneficial fungal and bacterial microbes. Temperatures are consistently between 74° - 78° and humidity between 30% - 40%. Soil pH is 6.5 and PPMs at 357 which is right in line for the Nectar for the Gods nutrient line. – Zannabis7 Day 47 - Fed the Nectar of the Gods nutrients and added Recharge to the mix for microbes and to aid in the breakdown and uptake of nutrients. Day 50 – The Glueberry Auto from Expert Seeds is turning out to be one of my favorite strains to grow. She continues to stretch as she has gained approximately 4 inches since last weeks update. She broke the 2 foot mark and is robust and healthy. She is stacking on some dense bud formations with lots of white pistol hair development and increasing frost. Continuing to feed the Nectar for the Gods nutrients with added Recharge as a soil amendment to establish colonies of beneficial fungal and bacterial microbes. Temperatures are consistently between 74° - 78° and humidity between 30% - 40%. Soil pH is 6.5 and PPMs at 309 which is within range for the Nectar for the Gods nutrient line. – Zannabis7 Day 51 - Watered with Recharge only to reset the soil and ready her for the final push of nutrients. - Zannabis7

@Zannabis7,yeah I always find that plants benefit from the week or 2 extra from breeders recommendations
Zannabis7
Zannabis7commented7 years ago
@ScotlandDrGreen420, The breeder says 8 weeks, but I would say closer to 9-10 weeks from seed.

are you running 24 through whole grow?
Zannabis7
Zannabis7commented7 years ago
@drzoidberg, Yes, that is one of the main reasons I am going 24/0. Wanting to keep the grow room at consistent temps and it is winter here (0 degree temps outside) and in unheated room as well. Good to know your plants loved the 24/0 light cycle. Zannabis7
drzoidberg
drzoidbergcommented7 years ago
@Zannabis7,i am only on my 2nd grow but my plants loved the 24/0 cycle i did it because it was cheaper than running heat in the unheated room i have my tent in and temps here run about 15-30f for the next 3 months
Zannabis7
Zannabis7commented7 years ago
@drzoidberg, Yes, that's the plan. Giving it a try. Have always done 20/4 in the past. We'll see how it goes. What light schedule do you usually use? Have your ever done 24/0?

Your Garden is looking great this Week! I would say though that you've got some pretty compact Auto-Flowering Ladies in here and you could probably get away with no SCROG and end up with a good looking canopy! Keep the good work coming Zannabis7 👌
BudKingsGrow
BudKingsGrowcommented7 years ago
@Zannabis7, Right on! Love a good experiment!
Zannabis7
Zannabis7commented7 years ago
@BudKingsGrow, Thanks for the kind words on the garden. You are right, I could just let them go naturally and end up with a nice canopy. However, I am experimenting just to peak my interest. More than likely the SCROG net will only be used to bend the main stems to allow the side shoot growth to catch up and even out the canopy a bit more. After that, the netting will add support. Auto SCROGs are tricky! We'll see how it goes! Thanks again for looking in and your insights.

@Zannabis7,I'm defo interested see how turns out 😉I had to do some major bending on one my gorillas, 😂😂😂looks like is falling over but is rock solid - took a few weeks but little by little the top bent and now I'm looking at 12-15 main cola . Looking forward to seeing your girls progress 😁

@Fergie, Thanks Fergie. Much appreciated and thanks for the compliment and support. I am attempting my first "topless" SCROG (trying to bend instead) with 6 different strains. It would be cool if you would follow along and make a suggestion or two on the grow. - Zannabis7

Hi not a grower but like the set up you have and the plants looks good, can’t wait for see them grow, I’m intrigued by the 24/0 scedule, is it only led that will work with or could you use that scedule with hps aswell, only looking to do a small bedroom grow 2autos maybe, any advice would be appreciated. Many thanks
Zannabis7
Zannabis7commented7 years ago
@SeFlavourchaser, No you can use this schedule with any AUTOFLOWER strain. I am using it because I am growing in an unheated room and this keeps the room temps where i need them. Don't hesitate to ask if you have any more questions.
