Week 6 - White Widow Auto All measurements are per 1L of water - Day 36 (Flower Day 8) - Start of week 6! They've grown so big, I really need them to stop soon as they are getting close to the light again. I've turned down my light to 80% power (pulling 240w instead of 300) hopefully that'll help them with the light burn on the tips. I ordered a cheap LUX meter that i'll use to convert to PAR to get an approximate idea of how much light they are getting. PAR meters are way too expensive for now. I've lowered their Rhizotonic to 0.5mL per liter of water and am slowly raising their A and B nutrients, currently at 2.75mL /L but will gradually up it to 3mL per liter. Their feed today was 2L of nutrients each consisting of (remember these are per 1L measurements, so double) water EC 0.2 to 0.5 CaMg / 0.5mL Rhizotonic / 2.75mL A / 2.75mL B / 2mL Cannazyme / 2mL Boost for a final PH 6.2 / EC 1.9 - Day 37 (Flower Day 9) - So the last few days i've had the light at 80% and i think they've liked that, yesterday i was a little worried as they were a bit droopy but I believe that had to do with them still getting too much light and from the defoliation they've gotten last week. Last night I turned the light intensity down to 60% (170w pull) and when i checked today they all looked pristine, no drooping or any signs of not liking their environment. It's still raining so the humidity is between 50-60% currently, however next week I think that'll lower as the rain stops. Today for feeding it was the same 2L per plant however tomorrow I think i'll just give them 1L as out of 8L total i've had 3L of runoff (37.5%), too high and no need to waste expensive nutrients if the ladies arent using it. I did test the runoff for those curious (i dont normally) and the readings came out to PH 6.8 / EC 1.0. I've started to lower the Cannazyme just a little bit to 1mL per liter and i backed off from the A and B just a little bit based on advice from @gmslave however I dont believe they have any signs of nutrient burn as the NPK burning them would show in the old growth as well as the new growth as it is a mobile (macro) nutrient. The tips of the new growth could either indicate light burn or CaMg deficiency however i believe this is light burn as they've been getting a decent amount of CaMg everyday and their tips havent improved which points to light burn. It's a pretty intense LED and i have no LUX or PAR meter to test (lux meter on the way for approximation of PAR) but until then they've responded well from just turning down to 80% and now to 60% intensity. They are fairly close to the light now so It will most likely stay at 60% intensity or even lower if they stretch more (the light is almost at the top of the tent currently). So now that you've read that novel here's the feed solution for the day: water 0.2 CaMg to 0.5 / 0.5mL Rhizo / 2.5mL A / 2.5mL B / 1mL Cannazyme / 2mL Boost for a reading of PH 5.9 / EC 1.9 Day 38 (Flower Day 10) - 1L Feed for each lady today. They're all looking very nice and healthy same as yesterday. Feed was as follows: water EC 0.2 treated with CaMg to 0.5/ 0.5mL Rhizo / 2.75mL A / 2.75mL B / 1mL Cannazyme / 2mL Boost for a reading of PH 6.2 / EC 1.9 Will update tomorrow with more pics Day 39 (Flower Day 11) - The ladies looking great today. They just keep getting bigger. They seem to really be thriving lately. 2L feed today as follows: water EC 0.2 treated with CaMg to 0.5/ 0.5mL Rhizo / 2.75mL A / 2.75mL B / 1mL Cannazyme / 2.5mL Boost for a reading of PH 6.1 / EC 1.8 - I defoliate ever so slightly just to maximize light penetration to the bud sights lower and also to cut down on the humidity. I aired out the tent for a good hour today which brought back down the humidity to under 60 which is what i want. It's hard at the moment because its very rainy weather but I'm hoping that passes as we move deeper into summer. Day 40 (Flower Day 12) - Ladies looking good, not much to report today. 1.5L Feed for them though instead of the standard two as there's been quite a bit of runoff lately. Feed was as follows EC 0.2 CaMg to 0.4 / 0.5mL Rhizo / 2.6mL A / 2.6mL B / 1mL Cannazyme / 2mL Boost for a PH 6.0 and EC 1.8. Will update with pictures and measurements tomorrow. Day 41 (Flower Day 13) - These ladies are just getting ridiculous in size! Most are indica's/kush heavy genetics so I was pretty sure my tent size would be ok at 6ft/182cm tall. So far the Purple Punch the tallest lady is 110cm tall, on Barney's website they list typically between 70-80cm for this auto. There's no typical height for seedstockers white widow but from other diaries she's much larger than normal as well. Either i'm doing something right or doing something wrong ๐Ÿ˜‚. I raised the light as high as i could, basically had to mickey mouse it with zip ties and if those fail emergency twine so it doesnt fall in the event that the zip ties snap. The light is still 30cm from the Purple Punch tallest Cola and its running at 80% now (was 60% as the ladies didnt seem to like 80% and the light was too intense for being so close and their leaves would fold downward, but when i turned it to 60% they perked right back up. So we'll see how they like 80% at its new distance. Humidity is a tad high in the pics but regulates down to 60% and below with the tent closed. The rain is starting to cease in my area so humidity should be going down as well. Temperatures have been near perfect however, 18-25c (64-77f). Today they were fed 2L each with the following per liter measurements: water 0.2 EC to 0.5 with CaMg treatment / 0.5mL Rhizotonic / 2.75mL A / 2.75mL B / 1mL Cannazyme / 2.5mL Boost for a total reading of PH 6.1 and EC 1.9 Day 42 (Flower Day 14) - End of week 6 already! The ladies looking great, they seem to like the light being higher up and i've since turned it back up to 100% to try to maximize the light penetration and PAR to the lower regions, especially the Gelato #33 as she's the shortest. Today I gave them a really light feeding and 2L each as follows: water 0.2 EC to 0.5 with CaMg treatment / 0.5mL Rhizotonic / 2.0mL A / 2.0mL B / 1mL Cannazyme / 2.5mL Boost for a total reading of PH 6.2 and EC 1.6 - I'm curious how they will respond but I think well since the coco is pretty well saturated with nutrients at a bit higher readings, this will hopefully give them a chance to soak up some remaining nutrients in the medium and help rinse out any excess salts as well. I'll be raising the dose back up next week but maybe occasionally feed at lower amounts. Always check the day to day to see exact feeding measurements.

Hello. I'm not expert by all means but from my past 10 or so auto plants I've already grew i can give you some tips. Firstly I don't feed my plants at all for first 3-4 weeks, they just don't need it. Secondly its great you plant them straight in big pots, how I water young plants is half by "logic" and half of it is eyeballed. For 3 weeks just look at your seedling and imagine what you see over the soil surface, you roughly have twice as much roots underneath. That's why for first 7 days i water my plant twice a day with around 100ml water each time. From second week she's getting around 250-300ml once a day. In third week she's getting 500-750ml per watering and from 30th day i just add as much water to make my medium wet (in my case its 1500-2000ml every 24-36h) Im 10 days behind you on my seedstockers white widow. I'm looking forward comparing how our plants will compete =)

@Elek007,Right on, no worries. I'll follow your grow. I'm thinking about starting some other plants in a soil mix outside now that its nice weather wise. Would be cool to follow a successful soil grower.

@@@Lit_1,that make sense, I've always been soil guy and didn't know coco doesn't have nutrients to start with. My white widow is in new to me medium. It's called tropic batmix and is made out of 40% coco 60% peat and it have added bat poop. I wasnt planning on changing my growing routine but I will keep eye for any signs of under feeding. Thanks :)

@Elek007, Cool, thanks for the tips. Not feeding for 3 to 4 weeks would kill the plant in Coco coir as there arent any nutrients in it to begin with. You're growing in soil and that means theres already nutrients in it to begin with, so feeding is light to none at all. Also the amount of water is different since coco coir is a hydroponic medium and has to be saturated at all times, whereas in soil you want it to actually dry a little bit. Anyways thanks for stopping by and i look forward to checking your girls development out as well.

Plants look great! Just wondering how come your giving them so much water so early in the grow cycle

I agree with you ๐Ÿ’ฏ% @@Lit_1, in soil most of them are slightly amended and you can get away with only water, in COCO there is nothing, even though they do not need much, a bit CalMag is a must, I started prewashing my COCO with CalMag before I planted, that is before I went Soil and Organic, after 3 to 5 days as you said without a bit of nutrient's you can stall the growth, whatever you are doing my friend they look perfect :) Great Progress with your farmingโ—๐Ÿ’ฏ๐ŸŒฟ:thumbsup: ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ‘ Please Check Out My Diary's๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ‘

@Bushbaby808, Thank you sir. I'm trying, I made a big mistake with the white widow a few days ago, i really feel sick about it but she seems to be recovering fast. I did my homework but nothing can replace applying it and gaining practical experience. So you live you learn :)

@@Lit_1, Didn't know that, was aware they got given some good genes but its no huge surprise a lot of commercial seed markets that just repack or lazy crosses without any stability ... When a fastbuds seed pops its more of a lottery ticket than anything some are really fantastic but some arnt worth the time and shipping costs, i have limited time/ space and constraints on the number of plants I can run I don't often bother with risky seed choices (maybe 4 in a year) and then when I do get a winner I cant clone an auto so its just a flash in the stash before its gone again :/

@@Lit_1, More Bondage next time I guess, that's pretty interesting I always wanted to do some Barny's work partially for their T-shirt hahaha and a bit because they inherited a lot of Nevils genetics (didn't we all) but I might stick to their photo line I have found some seed firms still don't take autos very seriously (fastbuds springs to mind) and its more pot luck than pot plant ... I have had some really stable strains from Dutch Passion their auto critical orange punch or black berry kush are both fairly predictable favorites of mine

@Hemporio_Afghani, They're all lolipopped, completely bare by 2 ft or so. Next time I'll definitely be LST more now that i feel comfortable with it. Although in the Barney's PP it wouldnt of mattered much as there isnt a lot of room to grow outward and barney's genetics are just all over the place.

Dont buy a tent. For a few buck about 100 you can build your own from a little wood and a roll of that black and white plastic. You could literally build a tent any size you want. And the white reflects better than the stuff they have inside the tents. Looking good..Cheers

@@Lit_1, should have mentioned for the floor, they sell cheap pond liners at home depot. Took a couple of perspective pics this morning. Almost as big as a beer can now. Have a peek when you have some time. Have yourself a great day.

@GMSgrows, Yea it is! I got some major rains coming my way so thats why i'm harvesting the CJH now (this weekend after 1week flush). Hopeing the less crowded tent will keep the ladies safe due to increased airflow as well.

Just started my first WW Auto grow, following you closely. I had some discoloration earlier than you did, but my sprouts are growing fast.

@stumay111, Thanks for the kind follow friend! Ya its a weird strain but she seems quite hardy and future leaves wont have that discoloration. She probably gets the least love and TLC in my tent being behind a 140cm monster and in a trellis net but she's doing great i think.
