-This strain was really nice to grow. Low maintenance. If it had enough time to finish, I am sure that it wou8ld have produced some really nice buds. - The plant looked really healthy right from the get-go. Very stable genetics and I will definitely be picking this one up again in the future. -Grower's Choice is underrated in my opinion. They produce some great seeds and some very stable genetics. -I can hardly fault the strain for the bud rot. The conditions were perfect for mold to take hold and it did. Less humidity and more airflow and this plant would have produced some nice, frosty buds. I am sure of it.

Reviews. Nutrient
Gaia Green nutrients are incredible. What an easy experience compared to running liquid nutes last year. This will be my go-to for cannabis nutrients moving forward.

Disaster struck. I found bud rot on every one of my outdoor plants. I was kind of expecting it after all of the rain and heat that we've had. There also wasn't a lot of air movement during the daytime on most days. I said in my previous week that my guard was up with regards to mold, mildew, etc... and I was right to think that way apparently. She was definitely early. I got about 1.5oz of small popcorn1 buds from the whole plant. The trichome production was just okay when I had to chop it. It was just starting to look frosty too. I am pretty disappointed. Fortunately, these will be my last outdoor grow. I will be getting my indoor setup going this winter and I will have full environmental control. I can't wait. This was a fun summer grow though. I hate that I wasn't able to let it finish but it is what it is. I've learned more valuable lessons to take into my next grow.

Grow Questions

Should I worry about rainwater throwing off the pH of my soil? The water that I give them is always pH'd to 6.3. Will the pH of the rainwater inhibit my plant's ability to take in nutrients. Rainwater is slightly Acidic from what I've read.

Hi there! I think that even tho the pH is slightly acidic it is still not very strong so even the smallest adjustments should change the pH pretty easily so I dont think it will have effect on your plants. Heavy rain will maybe flush some nutes from the soil but I generally dont think this rainwater would be an issue.

Great grow! I do suggest you letting all the soil moist, not too wet. That will make life start to spread around soil, and it improve the root system of your plant due to life and due to the root system principle: It seeks water, so it develops. If you only water the part the root is, it will not have stimulus to grow further, and so you make a weak root system. Letting the whole soil moist make it consume the water around and seek more water next to it. And another tip, water around the plant, around 5 inches away, so it will be moist everywhere on the grow, and it will develop big!!! Wish you a great grow processes of creating life! Have a Shroom1!1!!! 😵😵🙌🙌

Look way nice! I have some Northern lights auto from growers choice and Candy Kush at 9 weeks today. All your plants look like they are doing great. My northern lights plants have the yellowing fan leaves like the tangerine dream plants you have. They are probably starting the sixth week of flowering and the buds and sugar leaves have nice color. My Candy Kush buds are looking sooo good. Again, your plants look great! Enjoy the success. 😎

Hi! Keep up the good work! This is my first grow in some time and we are growing the same strains: GC Northern Lights and Tangerine Dream. Please have a look at my garden, esp. when I've updated. best of luck and continued success in your grow. 💪

Good job on the grow. At what node did you top that Northern Lights? How did it perform after topping? I’m working on an auto NL, was curious for my next time around.

@cosmiccrowe, I think that I topped at the 4th node. It performed really well after being topped. I think that I will stick to low-stress training in the future though.
