Unfortunately i dropped the little LotZ of SKittlez
plant and the roots etc fell out of its pot, so that gonna be a hard setback for that little one grrrr.
All the rest are going into 18L pots as of today FINALLY, had to make some room and get some more equipment.
I will top
the plants when they are decent size and take cuttings, once the cutting root, then ill flip the switch.
All plants topped and got some cuttings,2 from each plant.
Except Lots of skittlez i still need to get cuttings from, but she needs more growth anyways.
Will flip 12/12 this week for the other 3 plants
The New+Strawberry Sorbet
Flipped 12/12 on 1/07
Let's see what these babies gonna turn into in the next weeks :D
I will give the Lotz of SKittlez another 10 days tog row before i also flip her
I also noticed i have trips, so i got to get ready for warfare, first time i have a pest ever.
Lotz oF Zkittlez is 2 week behind on the others in terms of flowering.
The NEW#1 is the shortest
of the bunch
The NEW#2 is very vigorous compared to his sibling.
DNA strawberry Sorbet bushy at the top too, is more lighter then the others in color, might because she is N hungry or maybe its a Magnesium deficiency.
I already gave her extra N to see what happens.
I did expected more stretch, but for now doesn't seem to be the case. Maybe its because of
the LED, in the past i always used HPS which has more
red light.
At the looks as it is now, i expect 75-120 gram per plant at least.
If nothing major goes wrong
Got cutting s from
each specimen just in case, something beautiful pops out.
Had to feed lots of skittlez a lot more N and a bit Mg,seems like it really needs it compared to the others.
Also The New#2 got an extra dose of N and Mg.
I love the smell of the skittlez, very sweet and FRUITY.
This week was HELL,
Heatwave, hitting hard.
32-35°C
Well hopefully
the worst is over, and now hopefully it didn't affect the plants too much.
aprox 4 more weeks to go
2 More weeks before chop chop.
Weather forecast looks perfect to with temps between 22-27°C.
Only water from
now on, no more nutes
Let the fattening begin..
A couple days before chopping.
Spotted budrot at 2 spots in the New 2. So almost time
to cut before it get worse.
The rest is doing fine, New 1 and Strawberry are gonna be the first ones to get chopped together, branches are under load and some are bending down
Last week.
Big buds, and rockhard.
starting to get really sticky in the last 2 weeks, prior that it was not sticky at all like other plants most of the time do.
Doesn't smell too strong, smells a bit sweet, sour, candy like.
I would say it is semi hard. For new growers...
Because it is a pretty heavy feeder, especially going
into week 4 it really need some more OOMPFH or it will start
to yellow up pretty fast.
So if you can't read plants, you might mess this one up and it won't yield as good as grown by someone with experience and knowledge.
Also a heavy drinker i have noticed compare to most plants.
grows like a c99 ,Christmas style tree and with big buds but not the most compact buds.
Branches will be able to support it easy, and it will reduce a lot in size once dried.
Smells very fruity, can't pinpoint exact what kind of fruit, also sometimes a
whiff of fuel in the curing phase.
I'm sure there will be many pheno's.
I might hunt them down, for now
i will keep as a mother plant for sure, till i find a better pheno.
I like fruity plants in general, so i will keep this one and toss out the candydawg from seedstockers which i liked too, but i like this one more.
Would be 10/10 if it was straight strawberry aroma/smell from the get go..thats why i gave it just an 8/10
Easy t o trim
buds,
No budrot to be found even though it are big buds, but not the most compact compared to for example the NEW which i also grew side by side.
Overall pleasant grow, but i need to find me a strawberry pheno if that even exist.
Thepheno i g ot was just fruity, with slight fuel in the background.
First grow of the
new, didn't know what to expect.
Had 2 pheno,1 is more gassy and the other one is more fruity.
Fruity has the smaller buds but lots of them and very dense
Gassy had bigger buds but also had budrot in one of the buds.
Both have colorful buds, with a very intoxicated smell, they are easy to grow
imo.
Certainly not a daytime smoke.
Don't give to sativa lovers
167 grams for 2 plants. went 9 weeks,
Had a bit budrot in one of the phenos at week 10.
Very easy to grow, not a big stretcher
imo.
Maybe double it size.
Havee a gassy pheno and a fruity pheno.
If you look for a outstanding indica with extra on the taste e and smell and a heavy hitter...search no further
@MrBlocc420,
Ah nice pick, was also on my list, but bought baklava and lots of zkittlez first.
Hopefully you can grow her to her full potential without problems.
Nice to see another grow up and running with The New by Sherbinski 🤗
Let's see what you can do 🤘
We are watching with interest from Humboldt County 🙏
Kind regards ✌️
Team-HSO..
Congrat mate.... Amazing :) @cmstacker01
I will get back to you about Strawberry Sherbet from DNA... I am wondering how it is... I havr ready grown 2 of their strains and outstanding qulity.... 24K Gold and Gelato Sorbet.... you may have tried.... amazing 👏
@cmstacker01, Wao... exactly the same I realised with Gelato Sorbet from DNA... flowering needs more nutrition than usual... their plants are hungry ;)
How do you keep them so small? If I veg'd mine out 7 weeks I would end up with a 7 foot tall plant. It's really annoying now that I want to just multiple small plants for variety
@cmstacker01, yeah I was using a 1000 watt hps for a while. So now I'm trying out cmh 3000k bulb, supplementing with led. Using the blue during veg and early flower, and the red LEDs during flower. Seems like the more light I give the bigger they want to grow. Like more energy I guess. So we will see how we do on my next run I really like your style though. Thanks for the reply
@Bilbo,
well 4 things to take into consideration.
Pot size = plant size
Light system +distance = Influencing stretch , lots of red light in the spectrum=more stretch ( i use LED, so it has less red then a HPS and i keep the lights 20cm -25cm from the plants)
Low stress training plants = I top mine around week 5 or 6 ,give a week recovery before i turn the switch
Plant Genetics= Sativa, hybrid or indica. And phenotypes within those parameters
So the combination of all these things.
Last 2 grows all are under 95 cm plants without pot height calculated.
Good luck with the repot into larger container, the girls are going to love that extra medium to spread those roots out 🤗
Stay safe until next time 😷
Kind regards ✌️
Mark..
