NEASEMO This is my third grow and first time with this strain. I'm new to the site but have been visiting since I started growing, and I decided to start a diary to better document my progress and possibly to help others that are just starting out to get some setup ideas. I started this diary while in 3rd week of flower but will try to back log updates that I have in my grow app to give a better outline of this grow.
I started this plant from seed on March 15 and set it under 24 hrs of light and gave it 1 ml/l solution of AN GMB until it was put into the tent and officially entered veg stage a week later on March 22.
When I get ready to transplant, I like to partially bury it's current pot in its new pot for a couple days so it can acclimate to its new tent environment while maintaining its current root zone. Then I fully transplant a few days later to introduce the root zone to its new, expanded environment. Seems to cut down on stress affiliated with transplanting, IMO.

NEASEMO Got her topped. I nearly fimmed her. I probably could've waited a day or two to let her grow out that leading tip a bit more. Helps reduce chances of fimming and also gives a little more stem above the top node which helps safeguard against splitting the stem during LST.

NEASEMO Started some light LST to separate branches slightly so they each are exposed to the light as evenly as possible. Increased nutrients beyond what I'm used to for veg. My previous 2 grows I played it safe with nutrients as I worked out the kinks in my setup and gained general growing knowledge. This grow I'm pushing this further with the introduction of a much better light that should arrive in time for flower. To prep for this I'm gonna attempt to push this plant out of my nutrient comfort zone to gain as much mass as I can in time for flower.

NEASEMO Continued LST. Had to super crop the 2 top branches because I waited too long to start training and I let them get taller than I should have. That, coupled with me topping early in week 1, left me with branches that are too thick and too easily split to attempt anchoring them down. But I managed to even it all out eventually which will help with an easy transition to the scrog next week.

NEASEMO Week 1 of flower under way! Switched her over to her bloom nutrients, and lowered her ppms in preparation for decreased metabolism as she switches over. Got her in the scrog, got the SP-250 hanging, and got fertigation system in place also. The scrog screen I built during my first grow and has been invaluable to me! It's a 2x4 wood frame with shock cord woven through it like a tennis racket. And my watering system is a simple drain to waste setup with a bucket on top of the tent feeding down to a homemade drip ring. The planter then drains into the raised tub it sits in that has a plugged hole for runoff drainage. Simple and effective.

NEASEMO This is actually the week I started this diary. I have poured over all my photos and notes from this grow so far and applied them retroactively to their respective weeks. Going forward I will try to be more active in my notes and pictures.
That being said, this week was filled with some headache and achievements. My ph meter crapped out on me and I had to go blind for a few days while I had a new one shipped. On the plus side, the plant (Maria Sabina BTW) has fully entered flowering and her buds are swelling! I had to raise the screen slightly so I could spread branches out a little more without bending them too much. At this point I want to maintain the branches' vertical stature as much as possible to encourage nice cola formation. I've been lollypopping throughout the week and may continue selecting small branches under the screen to cull well into next week. I've had to raise the lights a couple inches as well as she starts to stretch slightly. There's no field to enter it above, but despite being 19 inches tall, she is 30 inches across and 24 inches deep!

NEASEMO Buds are gaining weight and starting to smell. Resin production is in full swing and is covering sugar leaves and the base of some fan leaves. Resin has a strong lemon zest smell with an earthy/peppery undertone. I removed a bunch of leaves to clean up the canopy a bit to allow more light penetration into the canopy. I only had to raise the light 2 inches this week so it appears she's over what little stretching did. I also dialed back on the base nutrients a bit as the leaf tips started to burn and added a small amount of calmag.

NEASEMO Buds are getting close to connecting to form colas. I wish I had tighter node spacing to help out with that. The smell is getting stronger everyday and she's getting stickier and stickier!

NEASEMO This week saw a lot of swelling in the buds and an increase in resin production. This will be the last week of Big Bud and Overdrive will start next week. I continue to pull leaves once in a while. Nothing extreme, just a few every now and then to try to keep light on the lower buds.

NEASEMO This week was cut short a few days due to a trip I had to take. I had a sitter for the trip, but I decided to go ahead and cut to the flush 3 days early so the sitter would have less to be concerned with. So, instead of a full 2 weeks of Overdrive like originally planned, we're gonna get a week and a half. I'm hoping this doesn't hurt my yield much, but I'm betting it'll be negligible after trimming/drying/curing.
