This week was as typically expected; good soil germination within 48 hours AFTER paper towel method. She is stout and growing more everyday and loving the veg light. My soil mix is 40% coco coir, 25% fox farm ocean forest, 30% coast of maine stoneington blend platinum, and 5% miracle grow perlite. No nutes as the soil mixture is already hot.
The growth was a little bit more vigorous, so far she is still very healthy. Still using NO NUTES, as my soil mix is HOT and she is thriving off ph 6.2 water alone. I water about every other day and no longer use the mister for watering.
This week she is still growing strong and vigorous! I performed a 2nd LST on her, this time focusing on tying down the lower branching and doing some leaf tucking to allow more light penetration through the plant. As you can see she took it great! And is adjusting very quickly! She is beginning to develope an earthy plant smell and the branching is reaching for the light.
She is now in preflower showing budsite/tops. So far i counted 10. Still doing LST and did a light defoliation removing maybe 5 leaves. She is growing nicely with a decently even canopy. I have started 1/4 strength nutrients. Calmag, fox farms big bloom, and fox farms tiger bloom.
This week was good for the Cream auto. I performed some defoliation and undid the LST for a couple days as well as raised the lights to 24" to induce some stretching. I did selectively begin LST on the Cream towards the end of week 5. She has been getting 1/4 strength flower nutes and recieved a fresh top dressing of hot soil coco coir mix; as her roots were surfacing. So far so good. Atleast 20 budsites are visible and she has responded well to all the training and is coming into her stretch period. Now all we are waiting on is them white pistols to start shooting at the budsites. Hopefully week 6 will entail this! She should be at about half of her life span at this point. 4-5 weeks more of flower is expected before harvest.
Took her down at day 94 in her 14th week. I did notice budswelling and density increasing in this final week. She was exposed to heat wave temperatures above 95f degrees in the greenhouse, yet took it well. I just had to water heavier than normal and at a daily rate....a rate of about 1/2 a gallon a day. She was flushed for 2 weeks using only TPS signal, ph water, and unsulfered molasses. She smells earthy, bold, and sweet....like a bold caramel latte.
As soon as the leaves started fading i figured it was time for the chop. Next week (15) will be the actual harvest info, as she is in drying now and weights cannot be supplied at the moment.
