These girls are spouting up quickly. Keeping the environment very humid and spraying plants every so often.
They seem to love this blue lighting, stretching up nicely.
Using tap water and using distilled water to lower ppm.
Plants are looking healthy and are growing nicely, better than I expected.
Monitoring the plants closely to make sure all is well.
Plants have been doing really well, just using a small booster and tap water.
The organic soil seems to have a lot of nutrients in it, plants are loving it.
Trimmed and LST.
Dealing with gnats... not fun.
Organic soil is a breeding ground for gnats, must’ve watered too much In the beginning. Fungicide seems to be helping but not working completely.
Switched to coco coir (prebuffered with cal/mag) mixed with organic soil and perlite.
Was dealing with fungus gnats so had to change. Plants didn’t even notice the pot transfer either, went really well. (Used root powder during transfer)
Continued LST and did some defoliation.
Plants are really starting to stretch upwards. One plant has reach 13 1/2 inches tall. I have been doing half artificial light and half sunlight. Plants seem to love the full spectrum of the sunlight.
Adding 1x a week Dr. Earth Flower Girl Fertilizer 3-9-4
Watering every 2-3 days.
Saw pistils for the first time this week, exciting! Plants are growing very fast.
Seeing some quick growth from one plant, 23in tall. The rest are coming along.
Got a bigger tent to better fit my plants. Will be getting another light soon and stick with 460w.
Gonna add fertilizer towards end of the week and just water next feed to lower some nute levels.
Fed Flower Girl Tea this past week 1x.
One plant has reached 28in and there are plenty of bud sitings all around.
Defoliated a lot (did my version of lollipopping), I wanted to isolate the bud spots for maximum light.
Watering every 2 days, plants are drinking up real quick!
Fed them 1x flower girl last week, maybe a tad too strong. Saw some subtle burns on the tips but not very big, must of just been over in nutes.
Tallest plant is 29in and I do not think it will be growing any taller. I should have 3-4 weeks more of flowering so we will see.
Will assess at the end of the week whether I should flush at the end of next week or the following one.
Hoping to see some major growth change in buds at the end of next week.
Other then that, plants are looking healthy, strong, frosty with a nice green color.
Smell is there and when I brush the white hairs it releases a very sweet, candy-like smell which is delicious!
Did some feeding with flower girl, leaves are turning yellowish which I think means all the N is going towards the budding process.
Starting to get tiny amber colors on the tips of the white hairs, can’t wait to see dense bud production.
This is week 5 of flowering and the estimated flowering time is 8-10 weeks. Looking to flush at the end of week 7 until the beginning of week 9 as of now... but we will see.
Looking to add one more go with the flower girl before flushing. Will add less to keep nutes at a slight decreasing movement.
Things are looking really good, amber/orange hairs are more and more visible everyday. Excited to see the actual bud form fully.
Stretching is completely done and plant will stay at 29in. Just installed an RO system so I will be using that and see if there is a noticeable difference in the way the plants take feeding.
Smell is normal but when I brush the hairs a little it releases such a strong sweet candy like smell and the touch makes me fingers super sticky so that has to be a good sign!
Not sure if there is anything else I can do except feed and wait.
Looking to harvest the 9th week of flowering (mid week) then dry for close to a week I think, then curing in mason jars.
Alright gents, it’s the 2 week homestretch!!!
Gonna start flushing with RO water and that’s it. Want to get rid of all the nutes I’ve been feeding for that nice smooth smoke.
pH of 6.2-6.4......temperature usually 72-76 F on the water.
I only have be defoliating the bright yellow/white leaves.
Today was my last feeding with nutes and I’m excited to see development without nutes.
Really happy so far with my first grow. Spent so much time on YouTube, reading articles, and scrolling through so many friggin forums.
I’d say another week, maybe a little more before harvest.
Been feeding my plants RO Water only and I see the trichomes starting to build up. Buds are getting fatter and frostier compared to last week for sure.
Starting to really smell like gas. Super sweet candy like smell.
Harvested today, buds are looking nice and frosty. Happy with my first grow outcome.
Bud washed half of them to see if there is a major difference once dried and cured. Also had a small mite problem with the ones I washed. (Doc method)
Will dry upside fro 5-7 days then put those babies in mason jars with humidity packs (62)
Will weigh and shoot picks when dried and trimmed.
Well am happy with the outcome and the way I grew it. I might do things slightly different next time. Be more proactive instead of reactive.
4.65 oz was the total weight (dried + trimmed)
Smoked a little already before curing and was such a smooth and clean hit. No harshness in my throat and it was a clean high but more of a head high. That should change after a few weeks of curing in jars but nonetheless a comfortable high!
