Just going with water for now. Tips of top leaves slightly brown, no curling. We had some hot days where humidity was kept low, but heat from dehumidifier plus outside temps got up to 91f. Some leaves at top have strange marks a bit concerned. Don't know if these are fattening correctly or not, but it is looking and smelling better after the hight temps took away the smell.

How can you differentiate between a nitrogen deficiency or too much light in an organic grow when only the tips of bottom leaves are affected? I am using 60 led lights on one plant (Wakyme).

Doesn't look like nitro-tox. Curling down is a sign of too many nutes, though. I wouldn't worry about the single-bladed leaf, but the one on top shouldn't do that, yet, even at a younger age when things like this can just happen.... it could just be a bit sensitive to the nutes and grow out of it without changing a thing. Nitro tox will have dark leaes that start at bottom and darken upward over time. Several things will cause dark leaves. Too much light will cause nodes to stack on top of each other. The leaves will look oddly close together, etc... Top leaves would begin to fade to white over time. Simply raise 2-4" and see what happens. If it is light-cause, it's not severe and a few inches will easily fix it. At that size you want the lights pointed at the few leaves you have from the top at the distance they likely recommend. as it gets bushier go ahead and see and side ligthing helps -- if that's a normal configuration in the picture. Light doesn't do much if not direct at tops of leaves, and if only a few, go from the top only. If it's pointing at bottom of leaves, it could be increasingn evaporation, which could cause some leaf cupping, maybe? Potentially some nute burn in tips of leaves. I'm just not certain with that sort of light. 12-18" on lights? umol/s can help figure it out, if it is accurately rated. That's a 50-true watt light? it's likely good for 1 sq. ft of space and may not be enough for blooming a plant properly. Watts are a horrible measure to use, but probablymore correlative than their par or umol/s spec. Par is a per m^2 measurement based on total umol/s. So if oyu take their umol/s rating and use some algebra to translate 1m^2 to your area, you can determine your relative PAR or ppfd, whatever the correct vocab is. ~100umol/s in 1sq ft is a fairly high par rating, for example. Small space, lots of photons. This plant is also a bit young. They get more robust as they grow a bit more, if it is a senstivity to nutrients. It's possible you can do nothing and it will be perfectly healthy with zero effort soon. "organic" grow also means you have no idea what's going on in the soil chemistry, so it's best to wait until you are absolutely certain, although moving the lights a few inches is simple and not a huge impact or stress. You can easily re-adjust the moment you notice too much stretching. If nodes are spaced well, it's not the light.

My smart pot is turning white at the bottom. There also appears to be roots trying to pop through. I put rocks between the pot and plate for air. I have one blade of grass and a tiny weed popping up, so conditions at the top of the pot are okay. Should be worried?

Hi! That white stuff is probably build up salts from waterings and shouldnt be a problem Also the roots sticking out is a good thing cos now they will dry from the tip and starts to grow more small roots inside the pot!

Btw just a tip, if you have a higher temperature allow the humidity to stay higher so she can still transpire at a proper rate, higher temps higher humidity, lower temps lower humidity. That could also be a potassium excess wich in turn can cause zinc, iron, calcium and magnesium deficiencies. Check for signs of new foliage developing thinner blades or interveinal chlorosis in newer leaves. Best of luck growmie and stay lit.

Looking nice mate! I thought I was the only one experiecing the slowness of the "quick one" ha. I'm just starting to flower after 8 weeks Veg.

@Deceptive, I have lost track of veg and flower weeks...but this was germinated in early March!

My last grow, which was also my first grow, I became very cautious with the LED after bleaching the plant in veg; so much so, that it "stalled" until I lowered the light. Looking at your light, I'm thinking either you're stalled because it isn't close enough to get the light intensity it needs to finish; or your light isn't strong enough for it to flower under (or it may not put out enough usable red light). So I would try moving the light closer slowly (half an inch every couple days), until you see light stress (leaves cupping) then back it off to the height the day before. If its as close as you can get it without light burn, then you need a second or stronger light. More light is always good as more light equals more yield.

@IndigenousOrganics, my auto seemed to be lagging this grow as well until I lowered the light a few inches on day 27.When I looked a few hours later it had sprouted pre-flowers. Had I done it a week before it would have burned the plant (and did). But once the plant is ready to flip, it just needs something to trigger the flower: bloom nutes, 12/12, and light intensity are the usual 3 if its ready (despite the "12/12 from seed" moniker, even if you grow 12/12 from seed the plant will still complete its seedling stage before it flowers), CFLs are still used to grow weed all by themselves, so adding it should shorten flower time. Good luck! Harvest day is a hard day to top. My first grow was 94 days I think, and it felt like one hell of a journey I learned so much that grow. The second time it is much, much easier (my plant has survived a fungal infection and an accidental topping this grow and is still going strong).

@Spyder7, Ah sorry. Anyway, I have a blooming auto now. I lowered the lights and have been blasting it. The CFL arrived today and that should hopefully boost it. I've lowered humidity. Looking good. Thanks for your help!

@IndigenousOrganics,they gave me a female avatar and I haven't bothered to upload a custom one. The site didn't let me choose my gender - it just gave me a female icon and I haven't bothered changing it yet. I'm a guy though.

Oh baby—- she’s a slow one! I’m 3 weeks into a quick one. Sort of disappointed to see the times you have.

@ChitownCannaChica, I know.my first grow, all organic...and...slow. I don't think this a Quick One, or even an autoflower to be honest.

Your buds are looking pretty similar to mine, they will fatten up some more but you'd want to wait for those leaves to yellow to get the most out of it. These seeds are sooo slow haha. We'll get there 🙏🏻
