Critical 2.0 XL

QuantumB Glad to be starting this grow and with a few changes from my previous ones. This time I am going back to a 20/4 light cycle as I personally always see better results with that and I have also decided to use 3 gallon fabric pots instead of 5. I am not to sure that 5 gallon is really needed for auto flower strains so it will be interesting to see the difference. I have not grown anything from Garden Of Green before so I'm also looking forward to seeing how these do. Slow week - started off with an overnight soak of the seeds in water and then into paper towels until sprouted. Once sprouted, I moved them in to root riot in a small propagator until they popped out and then finally into their 3g fabric pots. Only water for the moment and I am using BioBizz Light Mix as a substrate. Hot Hot Hot!!! The tail end of this week has seen a heatwave with temps hitting 32 in the grow room, trying to keep the humidity up and air moving. Peace QB

QuantumB Quite a lot of growth this week compared to some of my other grows at the same point in time... could this be due to the smaller pot size? Started a small feed at the end of this week on day 12 from seed. Plants are looking very healthy so far and are coming on nicely. Peace. QB

QuantumB As we start week 3 with these girls, things are looking really nice. Healthy plants that are growing nice and responding well to an increase in feeding. I have just started a small amount of LST and will continue to do more as this week progresses. So far, all is good! Peace QB

QuantumB First day of week 4 and the girls are kicking into top gear. Over the course of the previous week they have really started to grow fast and I have been using LST to keep the canopy even and break apical dominance. The first day of week 4 (today) I added some Magne-Cal and some Big Bud to get them on the right path and going forward, I will continue LST and defoliation where needed. The girls are already developing a lovely "Skunky" smell and I must say, are really nice plants to grow with clearly strong genes. Peace QB

QuantumB Increased feed this week and plants are growing fast. They are taking all the nutrients I give them really well and they are coming on lovely. I need to get in and do some defoliation soon to help them out a bit. Weather has increased but temps in the tent have only been 3 degrees hotter than room temp. I love this LED light! Blown away by its performance and heat output. Using HPS I would have really struggled with temps during this temp increase but only being a few degrees above ambient has helped greatly. So far very impressed with genes... plants look very uniform and healthy with a lovely smell already. Peace QB

QuantumB I've not done much this week as it has been hot hot hot! Trying to keep plants cool, happy and watered without adding more stress so no further defoliation at the moment. At the end of this week I have stopped the Big Bud and added Carboload. Plants look good and healthy and are taking all the nutrients I throw at them well. This is going to be a good one! Peace QB

QuantumB Not much to say this week... things are moving fast and I have had a dip in quality from my water which has had some effect as I dont use RO just straight tap water. Smell is fantastic and buds are lovely so far. Looking forward to this one finishing. Peace QB

QuantumB Girls are plumping up now as we get near to the end. Some light burn as I didn't move the light up this week and I also need to do some defoliation which I will do at the end of the next week. Smell is very strong and smells very skunky. Bud to leaf ratio is really good too! Looking forward to chopping this grow down! Peace QB

QuantumB These are now coming to an end and I am shocked at the speed... 66 days from seed as of today! I am going to push them for 1 more week and from today, they will be drinking water only. I had a loss of a cola due to humidity spiking massively but all others are fine. They are starting to look like they have had enough too. Peace QB

QuantumB The speed of these were fast and as such, require some supplements in early flower. The leaf to bud ratio was perfect and harvesting these was a lot less hassle than other strains due to this. Really recommended!
