Just started three Devil Cream Autos in 1.5L net pots with 50/50 "Mother's Earth" cocco coir and "Shultz" perlite. No amendments were used besides nutrients metioned above to first wet media.

Waiting on roots to sprout from the net pots still so no watering. Only a little over a gallon of nutrient solution in each bucket, still need to hook up drain lines to the resivour.

Havent posted in a while so heres a little catch up. Increased nutrients after 3rd set of leaves, have top feed recirculating system fully working. These three along with three Superautomatics are all in the same system. The ph drifts from 5.5 when first set and I send her back usually the next day or following at 6.3ish. Had used neem oil and didnt dry girls off completely causing some burns, learned to dilute my foliar solution and spray with my supplemental lights completely off and on a cloudy day or dusk/dawn.

No signs of flowering yet, maybe slight formation of calxys beginning. Been spraying with molasses, neem, cal mag and liquid kelp (bioweed) and superthrive just once to hopefully delay flowering to increase yield. P.S. if youre new at growing DO NOT try this unless you know what your doing with hormones etc. Theres a chance it can turn your girls hermie. Just be aware!

Saw some excellent lateral growth from their branches in the last week. Been removing fan leaves from main stem to allow meristems to grow more. I was using kelp in a foliar to induce apical dominance but have since removed it from the girl's regimin with the hopes of flowering beginning soon.

Hello grow 🌎! Finally seeing signs of flowering beginning. (Branches alternating, calxes, pistils, etc.) I cut the girls' dose of gro pro which is full of N, way down amd introduced monster bloom and a small dose of nirvana. Was going to tie down branches but realized that it would make draining their buckets near impossible. So I decided to use bamboo sticks to "position" branches in spots of light and out of tge way of others.

This week was a complete disaster. I wish I had taken pics of everything but I was in such a frantic mess that I focused on the issue at hand. Had some really hot weather with rain for about 4 or 5 days which shot the RH to 90% I think the highest the hydrometer recorded in a 24hr period was actually 99%. The cinnamon I used became caked on the surface of the substrate from using too much. A hole popped in one of my co2 bags and molded which spread to the top of the substrate on 2 out of 3. This attracted a ton of fungus gnats and root rot. I proceeded by scraping off the top layer of cinnamon. Then I disconnected the top feed lines to be cleaned with hydrogen peroxide and Clearex flushing solution. I drained each bucket, one at a time and poured a mixture of 1 tsp SNS 203 all natural pesticide/fungicide, 1 tsp Garden Safe Brand Fungicide 3 Neem oil concentrate 70/30, 1 tsp Botanicare Clearex and .125 tsp Grow More Bio-cozyme botanical extract .30-.30-.05. I then scrubbed the inside walls is the bucket with the solution, vacuumed out and refilled with normal strength nutrient solution in a 15 min time frame to hopefully reduce shock. Some wilting was noticed but still look hardy.

These last few weeks have been quite discouraging. I've been battling root rot/fungus gnats from heavy rain and high humidity (90%+), but I'm making progress though. The Bio-cozyme seemed to help stimulate new, white root growth and I treated everything in the system with SNS 203 containing clove and rosemary oil, Garden Safe Fungicide 3 concentrate Neem oil extract 70% and Maggie's Farm 3-in-1 organic garden spray containing Thyme oil, Geranium, cinnamon and peppermint oil to the roots from the top and soaked for roughly 15 minutes, drained and refilled with new solution. Everything was going well until we lost power for 6+ hours the other day and the girls were without air to their roots and stressed hard. Also ran out of Monster Bloom Pro and my shipment was late so I had to improvise with Beastie Bloomz which was most similar I could find (besides the micro nutes in it) for a few days. Havent had their resivour operational due to lack of supplies and have just hand watered the substrate a few times daily. Hopefully will have everything functional today! More pics coming also. Thanks and good luck to all!

Had a lot of issues along the way but finally here to the flowering stage so yay! My pH meter was uncalibrated and off by +.5, so after correcting that some more growth was noticed. I really want to order these seeds again for an indoor set-up. They have almost a velvety smell and feel to the stems of the leaves. Outdoor hydro has definitely been a challenge but something I am going to try again and again until I find a method that works good for me. Never be discouraged!

Finally seeing some serious flower power with these girls. They should hopefully finish in a few weeks here. Been being pretty consistent on checking/setting their pH and keeping their upper root zone wet which has caused an explosion of root growth on all three ladies. Some chlorosis has been noticed on the shortest one for almost her entire cycle now, growth seems ok, and nutes are well balanced so I'm not sure what could be causing it (mutation?). I trimmed out the inner leaves and branches leaving the colas due to slowed growth at the end of their veg. period when root rot and gnats were present. Also topped off each net pot with a mix of perlite, cinnamon, blood meal, bone meal and worm castings to cover exposed roots and leave an organic nutrient base to remain through flush. I've used liquid bone meal during my flush before and had good success so hopefully the BM I added will help with late ripening. Can't wait for some purple power with these babies!

The cold weather is coming and I'm hoping these girls will finish up soon. One has such dense pre-flowers, another has your typical indica characteristics and the last has many similarities compared to her ancestor, Dark Devil like her leaves and sativa like structure. I increased the amount of Nirvana used to the manufacturer's recommended dose once I saw that they handled close to a tsp with no negative effects on their roots. This is the first time I've used Bio-cozyme, I assume to cut its use in a week or so when I begin supplementing with Overdrive. Also I learned that from pruning the inside leaves and small branch growth prior to flowering has increased the size of each branch, increasing yield. I make a lot of concentrate so I usually leave some of the smaller lowers and inside buds but I experimented with these girls by clear cutting their lowers or "lollipopping" them 🍭. The middle girl is going to have a massive cola. Been spraying with neem, geraniol, thyme, cinnamon and peppermint oils daily diluted in distilled water with the forecast of the next few days of cold and wet weather, hopefully protecting them. I bought some aquarium heaters today for the cold weather for each bucket, wasn't fun, kinda expensive and they didn't have enough of one wattage so I used another store too and they vary in wattage but should all have some sort of improvement in temperature.🌡️❄️

Sorry for the lack of photos, this week was all about tying up all the branches that seemed to not be pulling their weight. Also been spending lots of time correcting pH (at least once daily), with flowering in full force I just want to make sure everything is in check. Seeing some more of the branches filling in with bud sites. Pretty freaking excited!

In rare cases, they may lose the ability to auto-flower. If in two weeks it has not shown signs of flowering, you will have to consider this. Sweet smokes! -Apolo
