Sorry I will update week1 at the end of the week... Just creating the diary while I have time. This is my very first grow. I mean, I grow a lot of things, just never this. Yahoo for legalization. Not sure how many to start at once so I picked 3. **Blueberry Auto, Royal Cookies Auto, and The White OG. (also have a special queen #1 I'm considering germinating. will post other grow diaries for those as well) I germinated the seeds by soaking in warm water for about 18hours, and then putting them between two cotton pads. popped in 27 hours. Placed the seed directly into its final pot- 5 gal grow bag. using ocean floor lightly mixed in with perlite, vermiculite and peat. heavily flushed soil pre-planting and let the soil dry out slightly and fluffed it well. used a pencil to make a tiny hole and dropped the seed in with tail down. lightly covered with soil. spritz with water. covered the spot with a perforated plastic cup dug down to retain some moisture until seedling pops. (veggie grow tricks) put it in the nice warm greenhouse. Will seat them on a heat mat over nights and use my inexpensive grow light for a few extra hours of sunlight until its has several leaves. Then I will let nature do her work. May put one blue outdoors in my garden and leave one in the greenhouse to see how differently they grow. On with the experiment and experience! Failing forward!! Up and out in less than 2 days!!!

So they are growing well. Getting all their little Leaves as expected. Was getting leggy so I lowered the light for a bit but seemed too close as it grew so I raised it Again and doing fine. Greenhouse is getting hot in the days. 102 today with low humidity 10% I ordered a mesh sun block to cover 80% of green house. Hopefully cool down on afternoon sun time. Added another fan. So I have a window fan and a oscalating fan. Pay close attention and regularly mist pretty dry this morning but no drooping until late afternoon and then I gave them all a good soak with a little kangaroot mixed in. I read kelp is good for hot roots so.... hopefully they were right. Small doses. Tsp/gallon. Decided to start another blueberry auto as one didn’t germinate. Gave up on it and planted another. Hopefully next few day’s will be cooler. That greenhouse is scorching hot. Hope these babies like it. I added a water tray between the pots and it all evaporated noticed my humidity was up to 40% makes me feel a bit better. But leaves look good. Not burnt or bending. Keep on keeping on with my first grow!

Been hot in greenhouse. Got the shade in. And it’s been helping a ton. Got some flea beatles chomping on leaves. Sprayed with a very light water and dawn soap spray. Helped for a day. Awaiting a shipment of DE. Picking them off as I find them. If they don’t hop away. Urgh Started some lst to get light to the little leaves under neither. And started them on a light dose of ff grow big. They seemed to enjoy that. I had started the seedling directly in main pot with ocean forest. I read that might be hot so I initially flushed the soil. So I don’t want it to go hungry. Let the soul really dry out this week before giving a deep water with run off. Then applied the light feed. Next up... need to get some screen in my greenhouse windows. Bugs are getting in and causing some concerns. Have the de on the way and some pyrethrum. I’m having a huge flea beatle issue even in my veggie garden. Gotta get a grasp on these pests. Hot week ahead. These babies will be looking for water. Have some 30gal grow bags coming in for some other strains I have going. Looking forward to rearranging my set up in the greenhouse for some trees!

What is this? Nutrient burn, deficiency, fungus? I tried to look up the answer but it might be different things on different plants. Please help me diagnosis this. The white powder is DE and the small holes are from flea Beatles. But I’m more concerned about the browning.

I did use ocean forest but after I read it could be hot for seedlings I flushed it quiet well before I planted the seeds. Also the info I found on nute burn shows it starts at tip of leaves and lower leaves . This is in centers of the top leaves. Also read that leaves will get really green and burn on ends. They are more pale than green. It happened after the de was applied

So my plants seemed to be browning and curling. Someone suggested nute but. But with some research it didn’t look like nute burn. Either way I flushed it to give it a better start. And found my ph was slightly high. I think it could have been calcium deficiency. Still not sure. I flushed and then finished with ph balanced water. I’m waiting for it to dry out so I can water and feed it. Have been having a hell of a time with flea Beatles. They is an infestation over my whole garden. So I cleaned my greenhouse out completely and have been adding DE regularly and picking the stupid bugs off as I find them. Going to give it all another week before I try a stronger method. Also accidently broke off a lower stem. Was really upset with myself. I read cloning autos is really a waste of time. But honestly I’m already cloning roses and other plants in my greenhouse so it’s no extra time to attempt it and see what happens. A few days in and it seems it’s growing. To what extent .... we shall see. The blueberry is doing better and I can see it about to flower. So I’m calling this my last veg week for her. One photo is showing 1 or two little white hairs. She smells wonderful. I don’t think she will be huge but I’m growing all these to see if I can. Most of my harvest will probably be gifted or baked into cookies. I’m not a big smoker. Obviously high yield is a goal and in my opinion the determination of a successful plant growth. I like all my plants to yield well. Whether it’s a tomato or pepper or dahlia or sunflower. Started several other strains. And one other blueberry. They all staggered in age. Trying to make sure I only flower 6 at a time with out exceeding my (6) and my hubby’s (6) 12 plants. What an odd law. Maybe due to smell.

She is flowering and about half way through her grow cycle according to other grows and breeders estimates. She smells great. I had her outdoors and I could smell it inside the greenhouse. Thought it was one of my other plants - nope all her. She is stronger and growing well. I have been adjusting ph down with apple cider vinegar. And it seems to have changed things for the better. Waiting in a digital ph meter (been using drops from my pool ph measuring tool) should have it today. Gave her a 1/4 does of big bloom and half gallon in morning and poured the other half in at night. And that seemed to spike her growth and her smell in 24hours. Maybe I’m starting to understand the feeding schedule with these plants a little better. Been quite hot so I’ve been putting them out side of the green house. For reduced stress. Seems to be good.

Growing well. Flowering well. Upped the nutrients to 3/4 of recommended. Seems to be happy no sign of deficiency or burn. Smells great. Greenhouse is still quiet hot and we are experiencing a drought. So I’ve been bringing them outdoors for a bit cooler Temp. 2 days ago I trimmed off the dried up Burnt leaves from the issues a I had a few weeks back. Just a couple. And I think it helped. Showed no signs of stress only growth. Lots of buds growing. Halfway through her life. Her younger sibling is doing alright. It got knocked over by a fly trap in the wind. (Since I’ve been removing the fly paper if I put them outside. To parent that again. Ripped a couple leaves in the accident. Used the situation to start LST on this one. No harm done. Growing well again.

Growing well. Been rainy here so not a lot of natural light in greenhouse. Kicked on the lightening but then the power went out. So one day was a lot less light than usual. Lots more water needed between heat and growth. Nutes added every other water. Thickening up nice. I’ll add more photos to this week. as I get some. Bright out.

Smell is increasing. When the wind blows towards my house I can smell it inside. Buds are sticky. I have now learned why so many people are wearing gloves in the photos. Went to pick out a dry leave that blew into a bud and got it all over my fingers and couldn’t wash it off. Like pine sap. Lesson learned. Don’t touch the buds. Increased feeding schedule between tiger bloom and big bloom and plain water this week. I’m thinking to start the 2 week flush in about a week. I’m not really sure. Lack of inexperience doesn’t help me guess when harvest will be 2 weeks out. Based on other peoples experience it seems 10-12 weeks from seed germ to harvest on these. I’m on week 8. So..... maybe one more feeding of tiger bloom tomorrow. And then regular water. Then flush til end. She’s not the biggest but I’m proud of the success I’ve had with her. Can’t wait to try it out. Also : the accidental clone I attempted started growing. I could see roots coming through in the clear cup. So I transplanted it today into a larger container. Considering this “mother plant” has only 2-3 weeks left, not sure what will happen to her. Based on research not much. But it was cool to see I was able to actually root it. Making me less nervous about future cloning.

I was away for 2 weeks. But popped in to check on everything a few times. Gave last feed of tiger bloom 2.6 weeks ago and began flushing after. Ran a good flush on her yesterday and will wait to see leaves begin to yellow before I cut her down. Almost at about half tan pistils. Can’t tell if trichomes are cloudy with my phone magnifier. May buy one online for a few bucks to check. But I’m guessing my next post will be my last for my very first grow. I’m very happy with her size. For an auto flower she is much bigger and more buds than I expected. And she smells like lemons and pine which is really my favorite. I need to make a candle out of this scent. See you next week. For harvest day!

Flushing this girl. She’s almost there. I’m waiting for a pocket magnifier to come tomorrow to check the trichomes. I use my canna to sleep so I do not want to harvest too early. Pistils tell me she’s nearing her day. But want to be sure. Began the flush on Monday. And started defoliating some of the loose fan leaves and lower leaves that were dry. Hoping next post is the harvest! Also including a pic of the little branch I broke off accidentally at the beginning. And I attempted to clone it. Welp. It rooted and is growing. And is all but 1 inch tall and in flower LOL.... fun with science haha.

Harvest window question- I got my microscope. What fun. But I’m still confused. Looks like I have some cloudy some amber and many clear trichomes. I just can’t tell if it’s ready or not. Gut tells me to give her another week of flushing and then go for it. What do you all think?

At least another week. You will always have some clear trichomes but maybe 5% vs 20% amber and 75% cloudy when they're ready. I also think flushing is useless and hurts your baby, but I'll leave that subject alone. Read the science though. Good luck!

I said it last week but I mean it this week. Patience is a virtue. Haha. This will be last week before I harvest her. I told her as I gave her a good deep final flush that this was her last drink. Once she has dried out from this watering I will say good bye and chop chop her down. She smells wonderfully like lemon and pine tree. (The pink kush cbd skunk smell in the greenhouse is mixing in now and not as wonderful) I’m proud of this grow. I was nervous and unsure how much I would yield from a first “Easy grow” plant but she challenged me a bit. Now we are nearing her end and I’m excited to weigh her.

I’m glad for growdiaries I was able to track the whole progress and go back to review what I did and didn’t do. The grow went fairly well. After battling some flea beetles and over fertilizing and over watering I got the hang of this plant. The strain seems easy to grow and though it’s not cured yet I look forward to trying it. I have been drying a little piece I snipped last week and will try that out in a day or so. Thanks to everyone who helped me on my first journey. Seedsman was great. Covid caused a shipping delay but the seeds got to me Eventually and here she is!!! I’m sharing a harvest video. I stopped it when I saw some webbing in lower buds. Got nervous. Small spider mites infestation at bottom of plant. Cut it out. Trimmed off the leaves I found them on. Read up on what to do next. Not going to trash this harvest over bugs. I figure it’s for me. Growing organically and outdoors obviously comes along with insects. Whether it’s cannabis or vegetables. I’d rather smoke or eat an insect than ingest a pesticide! I’ve cleaned the buds and trimmed them well. Once they dry I’ll give them a good shaking. And check them over to make sure I didn’t miss anything gross. There was a day before legalization that “you got what you got” and based on the people we procured from I doubt they cared if there were dried up bugs in bags. Never thought about it until today. 🤷‍♀️🏻 Not going to worry about it. I’ll do my best and clean my greenhouse. Sprayed down my other plants and out the fan in them. Trimmed some leaves I found to have mites on those. And I’ll get ahead of the issue for next harvest in 2 weeks. I’ll be back to update dry weight and effects soon. Update: dry weight is 50grams pretty happy about that. The buds are light and fluffy. They take up a lot of space. I can’t believe it didn’t all fit in the GIANT mason jar. It’s ok. I planned to gift some to my cheer leaders who listened to me and my grow updates week after week. Cheers to more growdiaries. Got a couple more harvests coming up next week. 3pink kush cbd and 1 more blueberry. All autos. And my monster photos are starting to flower. Good thing one of them is 9 feet tall in my 10ft greenhouse 😳 See you soon. Thanks for reading. Edit: finally felt I had cured long enough to try my first grow . Got my self a atmos jump vaporizer. Perfect for micro dosing as I do. 2 light puffs. And perfection. Tasted like pine heaven and herbs from the earth. The vape really makes it smooth and brings out the taste. And I feel so relaxed.... off to Netflix ... see ya! Success never smelled so sweet!
