1st Grow Ever - SLH Auto & Vanilla Kush

----------------------------------- Caution: This is my FIRST grow. 😨 ----------------------------------- Day 0 (17/05): Started the seeding using the wet paper towel technique. Day 3: The seeds started to sprout. At this phase, I was not using any nutrients. Day 4: The seeds went to the soil. At this day, I started to mix Voodoo Juice to the watering process. Hope to do this for the next 10 days. Day 5: They stared to appear from the ground. Starting the seedling process. Day 7: One of them has the 2 cotyledons, 2 leaves and 2 small new leaves starting to grow. The other one has the 2 cotyledons, 2 small new leaves starting to grow. Things seems to be going good.

------------------------------------ CAUTION: This is my FIRST grow. 😨 ------------------------------------ Day 8 (25/05): Nothing new. Day 10: The air circulation system was updated, increasing the air flow and decreasing the temperature. After that, more water was needed to maintain the humidity. Also started the germination of the third seed of Super Lemon Haze (SLH) strain. Day 12: One of SLH is struggling to open their leaves. They've a strange aspect, slightly curved upwards and without the shape of a healthy leaf. The color is fine. Her sister was planted in the same day and she is very health. I'm also watering them with the same quantity of nutrient (VoodooJuice). I really don't know what is happening. Day 14: The healthy SLH continues to grow consistently. The other one is also growing, but its leaves is still strange. I hope things get better next week. I'm also testing the Voodoo Juice + Sensi Grow mix in my "test plant". Because I'm still a newbie, I'm growing an extra plant (another strain) to verify how it reacts with the nutrients before applying them on the SLH plants. I hope in two days, I'll start using the Voodoo Juice + Sensi Grow mix on the SLHs. Or, maybe, for the next weeks, I can try to follow the following tips from the community: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Registering this Q&A for my plants problem: - Question: "I'm seedling two Super Lemon Haze Auto, but one of them is struggling to open their leaves. They are slightly curved upwards and without the shape of a normal leave. The other plant is growing fine, and I'm watering them with the same nutrients. Any tips on what can be happening?" - Answer: "looks a little like ligh burn. if you've been watering properly and not fertilizing yet.. if the soil isn't too hot etc etc... lots of bases to cover. Usually too much light early on will cause the plant to fall over. could be heat-related, though. (photons or heat... 2 different forms of energy beating on the plant) I see you are fertilizing... stop. if that's in soild, stop twice. wait a long time before you feed... wait for a hint of deficiency in future few weeks, because you have put unused nutrients into soil where roots don't exist, yet. it has built up in that time... as new roots hit a new area, they get burned. conceptually speaking... seeds are packed with energy for a couple weeks... plus what you added plus the soil's contents (if coco only what you put in). Ease off the gas, and it'll recover. Even the healthier one has a burned tip." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

------------------------------------ CAUTION: This is my FIRST grow. 😨 ------------------------------------ Day 15 (01/06): After listening to some experts in the "Questions" section, I decided to suspend the use of nutrients on this week. Hope to return back on the next week. One of my SLH is growing in a strange shape. The other one, looks fine. Day 17: It seems that one of the SLH is a mutant! 👽 Cause I'm still a newbie, I'm a little afraid about her growth. Day 21: The mutant seems to be healthy, maybe just a few more days without feeding them with nutrients. I didn't mentioned before, but I'm also using two other plants as "testers". I still don't know how my plants will react to the nutrients and I don't have enough experience to say what are the best measures for my plants. That's why I'm using two other plants to test the nutrients before giving them to my main plants.

----------------------------------- Caution: This is my FIRST grow. 😨 ----------------------------------- Day 22 (08/06): I returned to feed my plants with nutrients, after testing them on my "tester". I'm still very cautious to not overfeed them, like on the first time. Day 24: Increasing (just a little bit) the amount of nutrients. Day 26: Some pistils started to appear on my "Tester 1". She is also starting to smell a little. Day 28 (14/06): Feeding seems to be enough for the Auto SLHs. Next week I will increase the amount of nutrients no my "testers". Things seems to be going good but not so fast.

----------------------------------- Caution: This is my FIRST grow. 😨 ----------------------------------- Day 29 (15/06): Things went bad! One of my SLH Auto didn't evolve at all. I had to kill her. =˜( The other SLH Auto is not growing any more. She is with just 10cm tall. But her pistils are still growing in one node. It seems to be the beginning of a flower. One of my "tester" plants is also not evolving and producing lots of pistils and the beginning of a flower. The two younger "testers" (Vanilla Kush) are evolving fine. Day 34: I topped one of my "tester" plants, the Vanilla Kush 1. This was the first time that I used this technique. Day 35: I changed my generic chinese and old LED board to a ViparSpectra V450 Led Board. I think things will get better with this new source of light. Day 36 (21/06): Two of "tester plants" are growing fine. But I still don't know if they are male or female. Next time, I will try to separate my diaries. Since I was growing some "tester" plants, things got a little bit confusing. Sorry for that. There is a lot more to learn. I'm a little bit sad with my mistakes, but it's ok since it's my first time growing. Let's go forward!

For the first grow, I'm really happy. This plant was my teacher for the next grows.
