Gold leaf Seeds germinated pretty quickly. One is about a week behind the other because a week later I found that one seed didn’t make it into the soil. I dropped it next to the solo cup instead of inside of it 😂
Third week and it was time to transplant the gold leaf girls. I also germinated a white widow auto flower.
My bigger gold leaf went through transplant shock and got all droopy on me after a few hours. I did the best i could to gently transplant her and watered her after.
Started to notice some weird rust/ necrotic spots appearing on the older gold leaf. I started giving her low dose seedling recommended feeding and have been routinely checking the ph with the test strips. I decided to order a digital ph meter and found that the ph of my solution was a lot closer to 8 than 6. 😩. I started using the digital meter and ph’ing the water to 6.2.
The younger gold leaf got transplanted into a 5 gal bucket. The white widow auto is growing with some weird growth and also purpling inside the new growth. Seems like it’s ph related. Hopefully my new meter helps.
I decided to try some things this week. In addition to adding silicon to my regular feeding/watering schedule I decided to top the healthier older gold leaf and Fim the white widow auto even tho it has some deformed growth. The fan leaves are all discombobulated.
I also transplanted the white widow from the soil I was using. It seemed to be draining poorly and stunting its growth. I put into some promix all purpose with worm castings and a touch of potting soil.
The chocolate skunk did pop and is in its second week. I barely did anything besides give it silica water ph’d to 6.2 and she’s growing decent.
The younger goldleaf is dark green and the lower leaves turned yellow and died. Looks like a nitrogen toxicity due to improper ph. I think the p and k got locked out due to ph.
I flushed the younger goldleaf and decided to flush the older one too. I’m just really getting the hang of the ph due to the meter. Those strips sucked IMO.
I decided to defoliate the older goldleaf. It immediately looked shriveled and sick. I regretted it and the wife said i should’ve just left it alone. The next day it looked rejuvenated and growth tips looked vibrant. The younger gold leaf still struggles so I decided to transplant her into a DIY air pruning 5 gallon with promix all purpose, coco coir, coffee grounds , earthworm castings and perlite. Fed her ph’d water with silicon. The white widow is plugging along and starting to stink. It’s her 3rd week.
The chocolate skunk is two weeks old and growing nicely. The glueberry is a week old and is pretty small compared to my outdoor blueberry potted in the same size 5
Gal bucket.

5/21 fed Both gold leafs and the white widow auto a mixture of kelp, humic acid, silicon and cal mag ph’d to 6.2.
New chocolate skunk and WW popped up today.
The jiffy pot was dry, added some 6.1 ph’d water

Realized the source of my issues. I was feeding the plants grow big and tiger bloom, should’ve been feeding grow big and big bloom.
Sigh. Newbie mistakes. Flushed the white widow to 188ppm ph’d at 6.
Flushed oldest gold leaf to 199ppm ph’d at 6.
Flushed younger goldleaf to ppm at ph 6. I think I’ve finally got the hang of this. Sucks learning on the fly but I’ll be better for it

Foliar fed the white widow with PhD 6.0 water and aloe gel from my aloe plant.
Applied a neem oil foliar spray to all plants. just as the lights went out.
Seeing small bites on a couple of leaves but no sign of an infestation. White widow has started flowering.
They smell amazing !
My white widow auto and chocolate skunk auto flowering. The glueberry is showing lots of pre flowering so I’m assuming it will be flowering any day now. The choc skunks leaves have gotten lighter and now are purpling. I fed it the correct fox farms nutee and added flower fuel. I think it might be light stress but my Lights have been 18 inches from the top of the canopy. Fed the flowering plants with flower fuel and tiger bloom.
I harvested this right at the 67 day mark. Once I harvested, based on the lower buds I could have let her go another week or so but it’s very sticky and stinky.
Full of trichomes.
