Hello! This is my first grow and I've already made some basic mistakes even though I've tried to avoid them ;) At the beginning I was using unmeasured tap water, which later turned out to be ~8 pH, hence why the leaves started getting droopy and had these dry white/yellow markings. It's been a struggle from the start, but I'm getting better! (I hope)

This week I switched to rainwater, which measured between 6 and 7 pH - I didn't have a proper pHmeter, just the eyeballing one, but the lady seemed to get much healthier from that, but she still had PTSD after the 8 pH tapwater :( It got better though, newer leaves looked healthy.

At the beginning of this week I used some Bio-Grow mix, but it turned out to be too early for the plant and there was some slight tip-burning and the return of white/yellow markings (I still don't know what it is). I flushed it and returned to plain rainwater for the remainder of the week and she loved it. Started doing photos in the middle of the plant's nightime, thats why they look droopy most of the time ;) Also, I've started some LST this week!

This week has been pretty nasty. I've fully embraced the LST life and I'm still using plain rainwater (going to go back to Bio-grow next week). Some problems reoccured though, on the 18th I accidentally left the tent on ~75% RH which made the yellow/white spots appear once again, causing some newer leaves to damage :( At this point I'm pretty sure it's caused by high humidity, but not sure why it happens - I have a pretty good airflow (2 medium fans), carbon filter with a vent tube and normally RH around 55%... Hope it doesn't stress the plant too much. I cut some of the dead parts of the leaves this week. Some discoloring is appearing at the ends of some leaves. If anyone knows what the spotting issue might be, please share some knowledge.

I've been struggling with same problem from beginning of grow, leaves having these dry yellow/white spots. The first week I used too high pH which later I replaced by rainwater - new leaves were healthy, but last night I left tent at 70% RH. Somehow it returned - details in diary

Lower, early leaf? 1 serrated blad or 3? I won't worry about that one. The rest of the plant looks great in your diary. As long as it isn't a "tunneler" pest and just a blemish, nothing ot be concerned bout. Those early leaves often have such a blemish. i have one that is slightly less prominent, elongated pale spot (wihtout the dots like oyurs) but large nonetheless, but the young plant is healthy otherwise. No problems on other leaves, and the spot isn't expanding (i.e. not a pest). As the oldest leaves get covered, they may not be as pretty over time. molting, blemishes, and even dropping the leaf altogether is likely at some point even with a 100% healthy plant.

The week of change! I finally got back to using Bio-Grow and added some Top-Max i Bio-Bloom, got a small CO2 bag to boost the growth and the plant is starting to stretch. The spots issue seems to have gotten away, I try to keep the RH at 55% and there's no new discoloring to be seen. I've also realised the lamp height I've been using before was much much higher than minimum... this is gonna be a smallllll plant. This is the last week I'm using the HID light, from the next week on I'll be using the Mars Hydro SP-150.

Finally! Got myself a proper light - Mars Hydro SP-150 and the plant loves it. Now there's much more room in the tent, the temperature is easier to control and the bill won't be so high ;) I also started adding Bio-Heaven, Alg-A-Mic and Acti-Vera - they should've been used since Veg stage but better late than never. Hard to judge its height, I've been LSTing it pretty hard to the point the main stem is almost parallel to the ground :D

This week has been going good until the leaves started yellowing rapidly - I've added some slight CalMag to prevent further yellowing and did some major defoliation. The lady loves all the BioBizz nutrients, they really helped her get up and look healthy. Other than that, the plant's flowering nicely, it won't make a big harvest, but it is a first time for me, so I've learned a lot of valuable lessons. Let's hope for the best ;) These rainstorms though, had to get a dehumidifier to even get to 55% RH, hope there's no mold or bud rot :/

I've noticed strong yellowing of some leaves overnight. It usually happens to the lower leaves, but in my case the whole plant is pretty flat, so there's no real distinction between lower and upper leaves. Is that just flowers taking up nutes from lower leaves or some deficiency?

Hi there To me it looks something like nitrogen deficiency OR it could just be that the plant feels she don't need these leaves anymore and is eating em up. or something When you check for symptoms try to see if the thing happens in new or older leaves. When speaking about deficiencies and it says that macro nutes normally show first signs in lower leafs it also means older leaves.

Last weekend has been horrible, 30+ temps in the box, but she survived it bravely. Lately it got down to ~26, so we're good :) Everything went back to normal after the watering on Sunday - you can clearly see it between 14.06 and 15.06. Still doing some slight LST to let more light through the plant.

Nothing fancy as of yet, summer storms everyday make the battle for low humidity pure hell. Gonna defoliate some of the yellow leaves, probably the last time before harvest. Last defoliation before harvest has been done.

Today I've found white spots on some of the leaves. What could it be? Mold/Fungi? I've been strugglin real hard to keep the humidity below 50%, but due to the constant rainstorms I only manage to get it to 54% at daylight and 58-60% at nightime :(

More stable week as of yet. The plant is starting to get some nice frosty tops. It will take it another 3-4 weeks until harvest I think.

I've checked the trichomes and they're starting to show some amber heads, so Tuesday I'll be flushing it with water. That means the next weekend (13.07) will be harvest day!

Hey, I hope this is my last question for this grow :P I've noticed some brown/grey spots on the yellowing leaves, what could they be, deficiencies or sunburn? I'm still feeding the plant with nutes, but the next watering will be a flush, so I didn't expect discoloring before that

This late in the game.. it's kinda what you want to see.. the plant sucking out all those nutrients.. You want this.. Which is why you flush 2 weeks before harvest... Since your there at that point of flushing already.. I wouldn't worry about it much and just keep going man.. Plants look fat! Nice.. 👊

It's been a great experience growing this plant. It gave me a hard time and I gave it a hard time at the beginning, but it was a benefitial learning experience - lots of mistakes on my side, but lessons have been learned and for the next grow I'm coming in ready 💪 I'll give an update when the plant dries out in the next ~10 days. EDIT: This shiet makes you go 300 km/h inventive/creative! :)
