Kicking off week 5 right on track with both plants developing bud sites with flowers. Both plants are sprouting swollen pistils with amber hairs and the flower sites are sprouting white hairs. Have been feeding 1/4tsp per 1/2 gal of water to each plant once a week and feeding every 2-3 days - over-watering issues seem to be resolved and I let them dry until both plants were praying towards the light to feed again today. Fed today with straight water ph'd at 6.0 @ 1 gallon per plant - I'll be leaving town for 3 days and hope that this will sustain them - both pots had a slight amount of run off and the plants have been sprouting new growth / stretching happily since. I added an additional 100w LED quantum board to join the 250w that's been running - both made by Maxsisun, so far so good, running a bit hot but for a first timer, I'm pleased. Both plants are growing extremely rapidly and have been responding well to the tucking under the scrog and minor leaf adjustments here and there. Fingers x'd. UPDATE DAY 34: Plants survived my absence and exploded after a feeding of recharge yesterday on Day 33. Woke up today and continued to tuck branches and leaves under the net - this is much easier with the Ewok OG which has a nice stretch between nodes and bud sites. Strawberry Nuggets on the other hand is so stout and bushy that I'm having to tuck the larger leaves underneath more than anything to expose the multiple bud sites underneath the mains - most of the lower branches have between 6-8 secondary growth sites that are now exposed to the light, excited to see where that goes and I'm hoping for more stretch from this plant to be able to continue to stretch the lower branches horizontally along the net. Installed a 6in oscillating fan upside down to bring down the 88f temps that I found upon my return and am happy to report that the temps are back down to 78-80f and 50%RH - hopefully I can maintain this as the July heat continues to develop. Plants seem happy so far and it is really amazing to watch them unfold/grow into the netting - lower bud sites are developing just as rapidly and densely as the mains. Hoping to see a little more stretch from both of these plants horizontally over the next few days before leaving them be and watching them reach for the stars.

Day 15 noticing signs of over watering. After transplanting into 5 gal, I watered once every 24 hrs for 3 days with 2qts of water per plant. Definitely made a mistake and didn't let the soil dry out enough and am now seeing a slight yellowing of tips and faint brown spots. HELP?!

water fully, or in this case a radius slightly larger than canopy as it fills into pot, but still make sure it runs out the bottom, or you might not be saturating everything underneath the plant. then, wait for it to dry a bit as usual -- top 1" or so at this point is good. feel weight, yadda, yadda, yadda.. yellowing and browning won't be from overwatering. that'll be something related to pH or nutes (concentration and/or ratio). it's early and that's faint at best.. could just be typical growing pains of early leaves and the plant will be more robust in a week that it won't show.... wait and see a tad for sure.. make sure it is getting worse and not just a blemish. if you haven't been pH'in your fertilzied water and your water-only irrigations, do so now... let that clear up first. if you've been fertilizing the entire pot, the roots are likely hitting some minor buildup where roots did not exist before.. give a good run through of entire pot if you think that's okay, then resume the watering that i suggested above. that'll help dilute it back down, if it did happen.. allow your recent behaviour to elminate anything i suggest or someone else suggests... take the least intrusive routes first, especially when you have plenty of time to figure it out.

END of week #3 here and plants are displaying signs of over-watering (as described in description). Looking for some advice moving forward and your thoughts on how badly I may have stunted these.... Many thanks for your consideration!

I think they look healthy. the blemish i see in pic one may be a Ca deficiency, but don't blindly dump stuff in. check labels of what oyu have used. calculate ppms of everything and make a more educated decision. (i have a leaf-symptom chart in ggxww diary, week 3 .. ILGM also has a great rundown) anyway, water until 10-20% runoff. Helps avoid buildup and ensures full saturation. Feel weight. Get familiar with "full". Wait for top 1" to try. Feel weight. Get familiar with empty... any time it feels light, water it. you'll likely have a very regular schedule, but at some point it will change.. the plant will drink a lot more in bloom and so many more days of growth.

Greetings - Looking for help identifying leaf spotting, these spots are found on only a few leaves and I suspect it's residual damage from over watering, but any other help/suggestions are welcome - feeding is in description, thanks for your help!!

It seems to be an initial K deficiency. TM

I can see she has recently been overwatered and seems to have bounced back nicely, could be a lot worst! It could be a form of deficiency or light burn. Need to back off or dim lights as they are no longer properly going through photosynthesis when overwatered. And deficiencies will pop up as well. Just keep a reduced par during overwatered period and don’t overwater.
