I go into the local Hydro store and the previous owner happens to be there. We talk about my novice grow and I mention the "Calcium" issue as I show him a photo.... He immediately asks me " Are those pots on a concrete floor? Because if they are, your roots are getting cold making it look like a calcium issue".... The new owner gives me a nice slab of styrofoam from an old box to put on the floor of my tent as I go home.
I sick my BlueLabs PH soil pen in a drain hole at the bottom side of my pot and HOLY CRAP its only 17c and the PH is 5.2 !!!!!
I take the plants to the bathtub and flush them with clean water PH'd to 5.8, about 8L of rinse per pot. I check initial run-off and its a whopping 2300ppm/50!!!!! I also remove some of the effected fan leafs in hopes I dont get some sort of plant illness.
A day later I do the same PH test, PH is 5.8 and temp is 22C...all is well again.
I should have paid attention to growing saying...make sure you get run off checks.
Beautiful plants! And yea for sure this is one Amazing strain! Very resistant and delicious smelling/tasting, can't wait to harvest mine 😻 @hellhazard@sweet_seeds
@Hellhazard, precisely! with that mentality -- and any type of bare minimum of 'methodology' -- you will go far. every grow i do is better than the last still, I'm sure you'll find the same =)
Nice strain and powerful nutrients, i think you did a mistake with the light. I also did, check my diary, seedleings have problem with too much light! The distance between light and seedling must be above 70-80 cm!😉
Hi nice grow 👌
I got the same
Strain germinating straight from soil in boi biz light grow indoor tent humidity 75% lights 600w bulb ..
I’m looking for advice I’m on day 2 and nothing 🌱 sprouting yet . Would anyone recommend I add neutrients at this stage ?
@Lamainverte, I had almost 500g wet/trimmed on branch stalks hanging. At 60%RH I had 107grams of bud/no branch stalks. Still smells grassy but the scent it coming on now. The RH in my drying area was too low (35-40%rh) so they only hung for 3 days. Now I have them in a freezer bag trying to slower dry/cure.
Flushed my medium out to 200ppm two nights ago. Starting tap water is 170ppm so there is hardly any nutrients left. I cut a small fluffy bud off the bottom and trimmed it to air dry and test. It probably wont taste all that great but it feels very sticky. I think they look slightly more Red than before but I'm not sure until I take more photos and examine.
Day 63: I also gave it darkness for the first time in its lifespan of 10 hours. I'm hoping it may make the plant think winter is coming. Night time temps fell to 17c with the window opened a crack.
