Budcultivator This year i'm growing seedstockers strains again because I was pleased with the results from last harvests. I'm starting the Blackberry Gum indoors but I am going to move her outdoors in a few weeks. The plant's developing nicely with pretty fast growth, will be giving her nutes when the time is right.

Budcultivator Started giving her low doses of nutes. One thing I noticed (as you can see in the pictures) that she has some brown spots on some of the leaves. I don't think it's much of an issue but something to look out for if it gets any worse.

Budcultivator Plant growing well, I have moved her outdoors as she had to make room for another plant (see my amnesia auto grow). It has a nice structure and new branches have 7 finger leaves. The brown spots on the leaves are, at least I think so, a calcium deficiency. I will be adding more calmag until this issue is completely solved.

Budcultivator I put some clay pebbles on the top of the pot to better retain water in the soil. She's still growing pretty well, although some of the older leaves have strange spots on them (see pictures). I don't really know what's causing it but i'll see how this develops. I have had some calcium issues but after upping my cal mag it seems to have fixed it as the newer leaves aren't developing any more brown spots.

Grow Questions
Budcultivator
Budcultivatorstarted grow question 5y ago
Does anyone know what is causing the leaves to look like this? Throughout the whole grow i've had brown spots as you can see in the older pictures, although adding calmag didn't really fix the issue. If anyone has an idea of what this could be please let me know!

I'd try water-only irrigation - just as you apply fertilizer, hopefully... no flooding or anything.. As far as adjusting the ratio of what you feed -- it's one plant, so difficult to say, but if this is common, yes. at the least, make a note for this strain for future reference if you plant to clone it. i'd give an irrigation or 3 first -- an EC meter can help determine how long this is needed. Get the concentration back in check, then think about altering feed -- or how often you feed.. so many ways to accomplish similar goal and which is best for your context just depends. i'd go a week and see what happens with water-only... if it takes a nosedive or shows obvious deficiencies, reverse course.

Budcultivator Last two weeks I've had bad weather so I have moved her behind a window. She's growing pretty fast and starting to show white hairs. As you can see in the pictures she's showing brown spots on the leaves, while I have given her cal mag. A grower suggested it could be lockout of some sort so this week i'm only going to be giving her ph'd water.

Budcultivator She's getting bigger by the day.. I have given her only water for the past week, and it looks like the problem isn't getting much worse. Only thing I noticed is that the bottom leaves are yellowing but as long as only the bottom leaves have it, it isn't a big issue I think. I think I'll be doing two plain waterings and then start to slightly add nutrients again.

Budcultivator Have been having pretty bad weather again, so she's staying inside for now... I have slowly started adding nutrients again but the leaves are getting more and more yellow and brown spots.. I don't really know what the problem is but I will check runoff ec soon. She also fully stopped growing vertically indicating all her energy is going to go to producing buds (big ones, I hope xD).

Budcultivator More and more spots showing at the leaves. Have been giving her only water for the past week so that's probably the cause... I will be giving her nutrients again though in a few days
