Rus.Grower: 50 clones in SOG

RussianGrower Hello my friends. Greetings from the vastness of Russia. I decided to start a new cycle of plants in SOG, there will be a total of 50 clones in an area of 2.8 meters. Those who follow my diaries already know that at the beginning of last week I made a certain number of clones from eight mother plants. I continued cloning plants throughout the week with an interval of two to three days. By the end of the first week, 8-9 clones showed their roots, and I transferred them to an improvised DWC cloner that I made from an onion cloner. At the moment, I have taken about 70 clones from 8 parent plants. From the 70 clones, I plan to select another 50 viable ones and transfer them to a 10-liter bag with coconut substrate for drip irrigation. RussianGrower Hey everyone, my friends. Unfortunately, this time things didn't go as I wanted. Murphy's Law: as soon as you start a diary, everything goes sideways. I'm not one to back down, so I'm continuing my diary and hope my experience helps you avoid the same mistakes I made. The most frustrating part is that time was wasted. My main mistake was adding too much water to the peat cubes, which caused the rooting gel to work poorly, resulting in many of my clones rotting. Don't add too much water to the cubes; they really act like sponges and absorb a lot of moisture despite their small size. The second problem was the temperature in the greenhouse; apparently, it was too hot for the clones, and they all started to yellow. I've now opened the greenhouse with the remaining clones and directed a mist from the humidifier onto them. My third mistake was my experiments with DWC. After the clones showed their roots, I placed them in hydroponics, but since I was regularly messing around with feeding and unnecessarily added enzymes at an early stage, it negatively affected many plants. I abandoned the homemade DWC setup because the clones that were planted in soil showed better survival rates and less stress, as the plant won't take anything extra from the soil that it doesn't need. Nevertheless, despite a series of failures and mistakes, over 15 clones have successfully taken root and have become full-fledged seedlings, while about 18 clones are still waiting for roots to appear. I'm worried that my plan to grow 50 clones is at risk since I trimmed the mother plants and they haven't had time to grow new branches. I might have to take additional clones from the blue fire or hope that the mother plants can manage to produce new clones in time.
