So no photos of this period. I am starting this logg a bit late and an actually near the end of week 8 at this point. Pics will be more regular after this. So my goal is to mainline these babies and will be using cloth pots for the first time. Germed 3 seeds and had all three pop. Day 8 Log :Transplanted to 1 gallon cloth bags. They need to wick up water as a lot of water escaped through pour method. Will use sprayer next time. Roots all very healthy thick and white. Day 10 Log: Topped all three and lollipopped them. Plan to mainline them.

They are doing okay but I realized I wanted to do less defoliation early and let them grow out a bit before 1st top. They are starting to pick up on feeding now and using a mister I don't have to bottom feed or have any run off.

Day 30 Log: Second topping. I'm leaving ALL feeder leaves that are level in the future. Made a big difference. Rose and Bell caught up to Lilly as a result of leaving one more set of fan leaves on those two.

Day 44 Log: So finally transplanted the ladies. They went into 5 gallon cloth pots. Bought 5-3 gallon and 5-5 gallon pots the day before but the 3 gallon pots are basically the same size as the 5s. Did the mainlining for them and snapped Rose down the middle but did a fast repair with twist tie material. Day 49 Log: Watered all plants seaweed and Cal-Mag only. Each plant got 1 gallon.

So these girls are finally hitting a stride I am happy with. I have been stressing the hell out of them with all this training. Put the trellis netting in and in a holding pattern. They took a full gallon each twice. One feeding and one watering with only seaweed and CalMg.

May 24th (Day 1 Week 9/Day 57 Veg): So This is a basic update to show what I am waiting on. The first set of auxiliary branches past the final topping are going to be taken for clones. I will most likely do this Wednesday when I take clones from my bag seed experiment. Took some lower leaves out that were not getting good light and were using more energy maintaining than they were creating. May 27th (Day 4 Week 9/Day 60 Veg): So took a bunch of clones and did some heavy defoliation. So first time cloning and I think I took them a bit short but used Clonex so crossing fingers. Follow the clones in their own log. Do not rush while doing this....I did and ended up cutting the wrong shoot (a main instead of an auxillary ) and ended up just lopping that entire arm at the base. We will see if this effects my mainlining to much. Defoliating: Don't be afraid to grab your girls and move them around if you can't get good visibility. I have limited space and getting to the sides of my tent is REALLY difficult. As a result while knocking off all the lower shoots I knocked of the top of one shoot on Bell. Leaving the arm as she still has plenty of space to recover. Still plan on flipping on the 31st/Day 1 of week 10.

Day 1 of Flower May 31st: Fed the ladies 1 gallon of nutes. They had their first 12 hour cycle of darkness. After feeding they never even drooped and that is a good sign. Will most likely water with cal/mag and seaweed on the 2nd or 3rd depending on how well they are drinking it in. I did add half a teaspoon of root magic Mycorrhizae to each gallon along with upping the molasses from a teaspoon to a tablespoon per gallon. Food for the food! Day 2/June 1: So they are stretching fast. Almost a full inch in 2 days. I know it will get faster but it if fun to track. Anyway as far as work done...I have removed all the lower restraints from mainlining to allow easier manipulation of the branches to the holes in trellis that I want. Started working them towards the placement I want. Day 4/June 3: So loving how the branch structure has turned out. May do it a little different next time, Like not let it grow out so much between toppings. Overall I am satisfied with how my first mainlining is going. These ladies are definitely beginning to stretch out. True to seed info the veg seemed slow....not a-lot to go on honestly.....but has gained right at 4 inches since light change. Nodes are tightly stacking and raising fast. Saw some pre-sex pistols in week 6-7 area. No pistols have shown as of yet. Am very satisfied so far as I know I have made some mistakes but these genetics have held strong and don't seem to give a single shit! Day 6/June 5: So both Rose and Belle are showing pistols. YAY! Just waiting on Lilly. Couldn't get a clear shot of Belle's pistols but they exist! Anyway last post for the week. Will update plant height tomorrow but will simply adjust number at top. All measurements are taken end on day 7 of a week. That way it is standardized. so week 2 height is from last day not the first. Keep it green Growmies! Day 7/June 6: So I have a few branches trying to get away from the rest and decided to try a thing where you "pinch" the branch till you feel in give a bit crushing the stem slightly. Web people have craimed it will slow the branch and even improve that cola....sceptical but we shall see. Also they grew 6 inches this week.....gotta learn that trick! :)

June 7/Day 8: So the pinching did not seem to slow it really. The stems I pinched are a little purple and a tiny thicker however we shall see how that turns out. Other than that these ladies are streeeeetchy! They are going up fast. Hope they don't get away from me.....This will help with when to flip my clones too. June 10/Day 11: So yesterday fed my ladies but backed off my grow a bit as my leaves were getting a bit of curl and they are pretty dark green. The pinching seems to have worked after a day went by the stems I pinched slowed down stretching to allow the others to catch up and my canopy is more even now. Plan to do one last major defoliation on day 14. Mainly gonna get rid of lower shoots that look weak and unable to support strong bud growth. Will leave most leaves only removing bottom leaves that are not catching much light and upper ones that I can't tuck. June 12/Day 13: Got under the original trellis netting and finished cutting out all branches and leaves. This I have heard will focus all the energy up and get fewer small branches suck up and wasting the plants energy for buds that aren't worth it. Placed a second trellis net into the tent 8 inches above the first. This will help me keep their spacing and provide support should they get floppy. I raised my exhaust and had to take the attachment wires for my light and double them over so I gained an extra 8 inches on max height of my light. It was ratcheted all the way up and was at 21" to canopy before the adjustment.

June 15/day 16: So brought the nitrogen back up this feeding. The girls are being a bit touchy at the moment and showed a little nute burn signs. I did some more heavy defoliation on day 14. I read quite a few places this was the "Last ideal time" to mess with them. Hoping they stretch a bit more this week. Time to sit back and watch them. Next time I will only water with cal/mag and Ph'ed. June 17/Day 18: Watered the ladies with some seaweed and cal/mag. They are still stretching (Happy bout that) and raised the lights. They are starting to produce trichomes and have light dusting on their leaves. June 18/Day 19: They are "praying" hard! :) Still stretching a little bit. The sugar though. showing up nice and strong already. Very weak smell starting, will keep you posted on that too.

June 21/Day 22: Growing along nicely. Nice frost starting to show up on the leaves. Fed them today with the above nutes. They are drinking pretty fast and will probably get water by the 24th. Overall happy they are moving along. Still stretching ever so slowly another half inch today. June 23/Day 24: They are drinking fast. Will have to water tomorrow. They have a certain....funk......best way to describe it. June 24/Day 25: Watered with PH'ed water with Cal/mg and seaweed. June 25/Day 26: Pretty sure they are done with the majority of stretch. Total 220% of height when they flipped. They are still gaining some height but that seems to be primarily from bud fattening not stretch.

June 29/Day 30: Feeding the ladies today. Nutes updated every week. They are going strong putting on some girth at this point. Almost halfway through recommended flower time. Packing frost on leaves heavily. Starting to have a bit of a mustiness too them. July 4/Day 35: Just moving right along smell developing. slow changes not as musty at this time.Fattening up nicely. I am satisfied that they are gonna be some nice bud by the end.

July 8/Day 39: Fed them and plucked a few leaves here and there. They are looking good and no issues whatsoever at this point. Fingers crossed. With about 3.5 weeks left on them I believe this lil batch should turn out nice. Considering it will be my first successful harvest I think it has gone well. My very first grow was some bag seed and all 8 plants were male. Sad part was I didn't know what to look for ahead of time so wasted even longer than was necessary. Second grow was set to be great but got powdery mildew 3 weeks into flower. My first success looks to be a decent one. Of note that funky smell is beginning to morph to a fruity/citrus smell. Smells good. July 11/Day 42: Last day of week 6. They are looking pretty good. Little nute burn and some slight discoloration on several leaves. I have been feeding at full recommendation of nute line and I believe at this point is a bit heavy. Going with Cal/Mg and seaweed until flush.

So not much happened with the ladies this week. They are cruising and being flush with PH water with Cal/Mg. Next week will just be PH RO water. They are however stinky as hell. Waiting for the morph of smell to lemon.
