Week 9 - July 7th 2020
Another great week, not to much to report other than a lot of growth. Both plants that were transplanted last week have recovered nicely. Not getting much more size out of the Double Grape Auto, but she seems to be budding nicely. The Duck had a decent amount of growth even with the added stress of the transplant. 4 of my big guys have broken the 4 foot mark. Again everyone posted some serious growth numbers this week. Southern Ontario is going through a mini heat wave that started last week and isn’t showing signs of breaking until this coming weekend. I am averaging temps between 112 F and 124 F daily. However it doesn’t seem to be having a negative impact on my plants. I did add a small oscillating house hold fan that I have dedicated to the 4 smaller plants ( the farm team) allowing the large industrial fan to focus more on the other six (the big six). I believe that the amount of air circulation and exchange is what is allowing me to reach these high temps without negatively effecting their growth.

Greenhouse build has definitely slowed down, I did acquire some materials for the electrical project but that as far as I got. I also have a plan in mind for the auto watering system, I will attempt to sketch that up this week and will show you guys next week. I am not expecting much to happen this week, we are getting ready for a camping trip so not much spare time for other projects
@@Rocknrolla420, well I sure hope so, temps are dropping here in Ontario, I’m doing my best to keep the frost off of her. Think she will either come down this week or next.
Glad I stumbled across this grow. What a great project and well documented. This is one of the most fun diaries I’ve read. Can’t wait to see how things continue. Best of luck on the rest of this grow and thank you to your farmhand for adding that extra splash of color to an already colorful diary 😀
@Crpehdm,
With the vent in it, it looks pretty decsent for a selfmade greenhouse.
Im planning to break downs they old, low and tight greenhouse and build 1 with a wooden frame. The ventilator inspired me!! Ill take that idea with me.
Does take in or out? I geuss in.
Good growing and have fun

@Organic_LarF, Thank you, it’s taken me a bit longer than I wanted, but I’m going the extra mile to make sure it’s done properly so that it will last, with minimal maintenance.
@bingothatsawinner, No not just yet, I figure I have another 2 - 3 weeks of veg left. Not sure if my hand pruners are going to be able to get through the stocks at harvest time! Might have to saw them down!!!
@Crpehdm, oh that’s awesome! Should definitely talk more then, I’m less than a 10 minutes drive to notl! Would love to get some expertise and meet you and your farmhand l😜
