Week 16 - Aug 24 2020
Hey fellow growers.... thanks for tuning in!! Well I believe everyone is through their stretch, they all averaged between 1 - 4 inches of growth this week, while most really started to show decent budding. It looks like the rain we had last week has ended, but we are back to the high heat which is supposed to last till Thursday. I walked into the greenhouse this morning to find my Kali Mist laying on top of my Sky Walker and GDP. She is by far the furthest ahead in flowering, I guess the weight she has put on is simply to much for her. I was able to hammer a stake in the ground and roughly tie them up, but am def going to need to figure out another solution. I am thinking I will tie them up to the greenhouse Perlin directly above. I am confident that will work at least for the time being.

This weeks plan is to finish the 2nd round of thinning and supporting my Kali Mist, it’s going to be a short week thou as we are taking off this Friday to celebrate my “Farmhands” 53 Birthday. I’ve got a fun filled 4 day get away planned for us up in Collingwood, I’ve rented a beautiful secluded log cabin, we will be hitting some more wineries, and the world famous Scandinavian spa, a few nice dinners and to top it all of we are visiting a nudist resort for the day on our way back home.
My son will be taking over watering duties, I assure you he doesn’t get the same payment that my buddy did!! Lol that would just be wrong... I will prob end up buying him some sort of Jeep part!
As we plan to arrive home late Monday evening my next post will likely be delayed till the Tuesday or even the Wednesday, but I will have my son do the growth check on Sunday to keep everything consistent.
@@Rocknrolla420, well I sure hope so, temps are dropping here in Ontario, I’m doing my best to keep the frost off of her. Think she will either come down this week or next.
Glad I stumbled across this grow. What a great project and well documented. This is one of the most fun diaries I’ve read. Can’t wait to see how things continue. Best of luck on the rest of this grow and thank you to your farmhand for adding that extra splash of color to an already colorful diary 😀
@Crpehdm,
With the vent in it, it looks pretty decsent for a selfmade greenhouse.
Im planning to break downs they old, low and tight greenhouse and build 1 with a wooden frame. The ventilator inspired me!! Ill take that idea with me.
Does take in or out? I geuss in.
Good growing and have fun
🍀🍀🍀🙌
@Organic_LarF, Thank you, it’s taken me a bit longer than I wanted, but I’m going the extra mile to make sure it’s done properly so that it will last, with minimal maintenance.
@bingothatsawinner, No not just yet, I figure I have another 2 - 3 weeks of veg left. Not sure if my hand pruners are going to be able to get through the stocks at harvest time! Might have to saw them down!!!
@Crpehdm, oh that’s awesome! Should definitely talk more then, I’m less than a 10 minutes drive to notl! Would love to get some expertise and meet you and your farmhand l😜
