@Growingkitten, the Mars Hydro TS series are amazing!! So little heat and so much light! I got the 600 first ($89) and loved in the 2x2 but I wanted to get a little brighter. The TS 1000 is only 100watts but more equal to like a 400watt hps. I would highly recommend them!! Get the TS though, they have the dual red/blue spectrum and the UV as well.
