I planted 2 seeds in 1 pot, expecting the 2nd not to sprout, but it did. What should I do?

Hi mate I would let them both grow and do LST ;-)

I know it's not the best idea to repot autos, but would it still be possible to repot 1 of my autos? I planted 2 in 1 pot cuz I thought the other one was just not going to germinate. I was thinking to just do LST in the same pot, but in reality the root systems will likely clash.

Hi buddy with cars, many make the silencer right away :-) of course you can repot if you are a little puzzled but I don't see any problems with your pots with LST :-) especially with cars you don't end up with asoo many roots as with photoperiod with a really long vegi phase

I have some weird green stuff in my soil. Is it mold? Everything is growing fine but I obviously don't want my grow molding over. It's most visible in the perlite so I just posted a picture of that.

Hi what is your watering behavior? there is a very simple trick when you give water. Let it dry nicely, then lift the pot up and remember how easy it is. Then pour it and lift the pot back up and notice how heavy it is now. The next time you water, you will only do it again if the pot is as light as when you started. As a pure beginner, you can also use a scale and note the weight ፦). Keep carrying as before 👍 Your plant is beautiful

Pretty noob question, but do you count your plants age by when you stuck the seed in the soil or when it sprouted? I realized I have no real idea when these germinated since I just dropped em in soil and watered. They sprouted on the 25th, were planted on the 22nd. So how old?

When mine were this size I would do about 2-3 shot glass fulls every night right at the stem to force the taproot to grow down instead of out. Then I lightly misted the other soil as to keep it from all getting to dry under my lights. Looks like you got a humidifier so that's all they should really need man! Happy growing!

I'm having some issues, my leaves are getting little yellow spots on them and I don't know what it's from. It's not very visible in the picture, the spots are very small but are on multiple leaves and plants. What is it and how do I fix it?

bonjour Cela peut être un début de carences en calcium peuvent pousser les nouvelles croissances (racines ou jeunes feuilles) à se former incorrectement et être déformées. Mais je pense que ça va aller, continue comme ca ! Bonne culture

Is your fan oscillating? Or just sitting there blowing? Need to be an oscillating if your going to point it right at your plant. If not point it away from the plants. It still should move enough air around in the tent. Happy Growing! 👊

I just noticed these pistils coming in on my plants, does this mean that they are now in the flowering stage or does this still happen during veg with autos?

Hi there! Now they have reached their sexual maturity and with autos I'd say that yes this is the pre-flowering stage and they start to produce flowers! They will still grow for 2-3 weeks until the stretch is over so keep giving her veg nutes for maybe two more weeks before switching to bloom

stick to your normal irrigation schedule.. simply give water-only.. do pH it to keep your current consistency for sake of adjusting nutes if needed. don't flood it.. don't do anything crazy that'll only disturb the rootzone.. simply water to 10-20% runoff and wait for top 1" to dry. letting things dry out more only increases concentration through increased evaporation. this would have the opposite effect. You could water early, but long periods of damp soil are bad... just wait for regular watering based on weight of pot or top 1" being dry. all you want to accomplish is a slight dilution of what is in the soil. It's tougher to see in pictures, but if the lower leaves are extra dark and glosssy, you are probably right. if you alternate fertilziation and watering, maybe do 2-3 water-only, but not for long.. go back to your regular scheduel... if you think it's too much, slowly adjust your regular schedule ... try 1/3rd of irrigations with ferts, or dilute it 10% more etc etc.. lots of ways to do this.

I would try dialing back before anything else... ensure pH is good etc.. See if it is an abundance -- have an EC meter? That could hasten the process. Check out some nute calculators -- have one linked in profile and a better one online i found online just today. if you know what you are feeding, you can easily eliminate possiblilities. More times than not it is lockout due to pH or concentrations in the medium.

I'm wondering if these are male preflowers and if I have a hermie on my hands. My other Fat Banana plant in the double pot has hermied for sure as I see sacs on the lower growth sites. Are these the beginning signs of a hermie plant?

Hi there! Looks weird cos there are those pistils too but they sure do look opened pollen sacks. Spray them with water and remove and check if theres more of those. Might get seedy bud cos they are already open. They can be sterile too so no pollen ever created but dont take the chance

Light leak, environmental stresses, and so many things could stress a plant into hermie. Sometimes though u can just chalk it up to poor genetics. Rqs seems to be at the helm of issues today.... from hermie to autos that wont autoflower. Mabey look into if it's a often occurence with ur strain. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

I'm not sure what's wrong with these buds. The outside is normal looking and green, but after chopping the top off to start a progressive harvest and cutting up the cola, I noticed the inside buds have much less color. Almost like just the inside got bleached, what went wrong?

Hey mate its not the easiest thing to make a remote diagnosis but I have 2 things in mind. This could be just some light stress, if your plant was too sensitive for the 24 hrs light. My second guess is that your ladies started building mold from the inside. This is typically happening if you don't have a proper ventilation/air flow in your tent. If the smell of the lighter parts is completely different and unlike the rest of the "healthy" buds, you should probably not smoke them! Mold is no joke.
