Took a while to get to the vegetative state but glad I’m finally here, even if one of them is dying. I used the lighting setting up from a winter grow that has since been moved outside. That one is close to harvest. I didn’t create a diary for it because it was an odd seed. Didn’t think it was going to produce anything.
Anyway back to these plants. Overall, I was worried since it took them ages to sprout.
Plant 1, this one has been a absolute nightmare. It sprouted a week before the other two. After which I’ve had one problem after another. Most notably, the nutrients. I was able to correct it in time and now I’m just waiting for it to grow it’s first set of fan leaves. I can already see the start of it but I’m worried that it might take forever to come in.
Plant 2, the happy medium that I’m sure is close to the end. Just my luck this one about to die right after it got it’s first 3 finger leaves. I’ve left it alone, every day it seems to get worse.
Plant 3, the final one to sprout and some how the healthiest. Not sure what I did with this one that has caused it to grow so slowly to begin with. However now it looks like it’s the best of the 3.
Back-up plant, I didn’t take a pic of this one cause I don’t know the strain. It was an odd seed from a couple years ago. It’s catching up to plant 1 fast considered it took a lot longer to germinate and sprout. It’s only had ph down.
Overall, this week has been great, might need to get a fan or something to help with the airflow.
The target of this grow is to have 2 plants reach harvest during the same grow. Since I’ve only done single seed grows before this one is a new challenge. The learning curb was different since this is the first time I’ve ever grown in rockwool. That’s not to say it’s been bad, I kind of seeing less issues than when I used soil prior to this. Another factor is not watering the plants everyday. As odd as that seems, I’m use to watering after I wake up every morning.
