Hey Everyone! Week 5 here we go! Two of my plants are showing pistils! The big Hindu Kush, but the Girl Scout Cookies is showing way more pistils! I decided to do some more research in training, watched some tutorials and read through some training techniques a little further. I decided I was going to mainline the youngest Hindu Kush, and do something similar with the Skywalker Kush due to my happy little screw up (lol). It was easier to do with the Skywalker Kush as it was far more developed. I also defoliated the HELL out of these plants. I decided to cut off the baby leaves and lollipop some of these plants so I can have better bud production on the tops of the plants where there are more leaves. I started feeding the plants heavier, a cup of water for the baby hindu kush, and a cup and a half for everyone else. They seem to love this regiment! I feed them mostly just the nutrient based water, and none of the plants are really showing me nutrient burn. There was a bit of burn on the GSC on the tips. I flushed for a few days and that seemed to lessen as well. When I saw the pistils, I went back to using the nutrient based water and she's been very happy since then! The smell has gotten strong, and I have been having issues battling humidity (it's been leaving condensation on the plants and in the tent) so I am keeping my fan going 24/7 until I get my carbon filter.
I am mainlining an Auto Hindu Kush from Sensi Seeds. I topped and mainlined it effectively, & have trimmed some of the bigger fan leaves. Should I continue to trim some more of the bigger leaves or smaller nodes that aren't really growing to focus the energy on the bigger nodes?
Hello flakeyfood,
Next time continue to trim some more of the bigger leaves and smaller nodes. You seem to have harvested some good looking buds, congratulations!
Good luck with your future projects, I wish you all the best! 👽
