Started two, first seed germinated in rapid rooter, and the entire taproot emerged from the starter pot. I started the second directly in FF CocoLoco. Strong growth as the seed emerged less than 24 hours later. Transplanted from cup to 5 gallon smart pot with FoxFarms Ocean Forest

Week 1 was aggressive vegetative growth - primarily bushing out while not gaining much height

This week included pruning and removing extra bushing. I thought I had mainlined/manifolded the plant properly but I have really done an extra set of main branches, creating an X shape of the main branch growth. So I screwed it up a bit but will I am planning on extending vegetative growth by a week to ensure a decent yield. Hey, I’m still learning here!

Moved plant into the 36x48 tent which is using the King LED 1500 on veg-light mode and moved light significantly closer to plant to maximize growth. Further defoliation 6/2 update - set screen netting up a few days ago to grow each cola up-through - each branch is sprouting up. We have a heat wave going on the next few days so all efforts are to keeping the tent area cool - fans and evaporative coolers. Maybe going overboard but I’d rather do that than stress the plant. High temps in the tent are around 31 today (it was 36 outside) so really just trying to cool things off. Increased volume of water in feeding her, probably 3/4 gallon. I’ll space out her feedings in the next few days to get her on a every other day schedule of about 1 gallon of supplemented water. 6/3 update - it’s a very hot 40 deg+ day here and it’s tough keeping the whole area cool. About 30-33 inside the grow area w a lot of air circulation and two evaporative coolers that seem to do nothing! Okay well a little, and I’ll take it! Continued FF grow schedule for week 4 but added 1.25 ml of Open Sesame as I’m planning on letting her veg for just about another week before switching to flower or 12/12 light schedule.

Going into this next week gearing up for flowering. Performed some LST to try to level out the canopy as the colas are growing a bit unevenly. Flushed out w gallon amended w sledgehammer.

Things have been going fairly smooth - I lollipopped the plant up to the 3rd branch for each cola and then the next day did some lst to level out the canopy before finally kicking into flower. Some additional weaving of branches through the netting as she starts to stretch out. First day was noticeable and the last night or two she seems to grow almost an inch of height! Saturday June 13 update: I’ve been constantly bending and tucking branches under the netting and trying to make sure that all branches are getting even canopy exposure. She’s stretching a ton, seems an inch or two a day!

A ton of stretch - but no real bud development yet. Not sure if I’m f-in up my 12/12 with a tiny amount of ambient light from having the tent open to keep it cool in a pretty dark room and no direct light exposure.

This girl has continued to stretch and fill up the tent. I’ve started out with the best of Scrog intentions but between not knowing what to expect and just seeing what happens, she has stretched! I did do some after-the-fact triage to try to bend more branches along the second tier of netting, which certainly helped level out the canopy! Flowers are coming along and I think the inter nodal spacing may give me a good indicator as to bud size if everything goes to plan - I think. And I’ll find out soon enough.
