So since my cat chomped my price winner californian snow twins (RIP) I popped the last seed I had of these. Germination was not smooth. 1. slow germination 2. root came up instead of down 3. shell did not loosen on itself. I don't blame the quality on fastbuds. It's just an unlucky seed. Its still nature so things are bound to go sideways. Anyway. dug her up, flipped her, removed the seed shell, split the baby leaves and now she is finally going. Goddamn! But a life plant is a life plant. Let's see what she brings to the table in a couple of months.

So yeh the first week was a bit shitty since there were issues with germinating and this clearly translated in slowed growth. However the last couple of days she seems to got better. She got an extra node. So we will see what she does the next couple weeks. Doing the same to this one as with the smoothie. Seeing how long i can starve them from water and seeing the results. I am not saying she recovered from being pushed, but I am also not saying it didn't have an effect. Anyway her pot is clearly still heavier then the smoothie so she should be fine the next week still.

steady as she goes. looks like she is starting up. Not sure what is wrong with the tips of the lower leaves... Doesn't look like nute burn and shouldn't happen since I barely gave any. Will monitor the next few days. Really curious what will come from this one. Weather is pretty good for the plants. Humid, bright, warm.

She is still growing. Might have sped up even in the last 2 days. Still in veg and no sign of flowering, so still expecting this one to recuperate some more. Expectations are low but again: bud is bud. Already battling aphids and leafminers since they are 24/7 outside now. Looks like the deployment of ladybugs has helped somewhat but not completely. Water intake is hard to say atm since they had some showers which I left them in for pest reasons. Also upped the garlic concentrate. Might just keep it there since this will be my last run for 2020 and the product i have does not stay fresh for another year. Lets hope we can keep the balance between nature and me

Another week passed. Weather was ok. Some extremes regarding rain and heat but didn't seem to bother her. Finally shot up some more and i think bloom is knocking on the door. So I am hoping she gets another growth spurt the next week or 2

fuck.this.weather. - 0 sun - lots of rain - cold - windy - humid Still, growth was there and it doesn't seem to bother them yet. Its a bit harder regulating the nutes with this weather but it is what it is. On the plus side the rain + the garlic really keeps the pests at bay. So still holding off with spraying that pesticide I talked about previously. I just need to keep in mind that IF I am going to use it I need to do it minimum 4 weeks before harvest to be 'safe'. Let's just hope we can keep it as is. coming back to the state of this one in particular. It really isn't that big. Its smaller than the rather small pheno I had from cheese so I am not expecting much in terms of quantity and even quality. The odds of me throwing her completely in the butter to make cookies out of is pretty high. Which imo is ideal for a plant like this. Also did some LST, but not much to work with is there? :D

Same like last week because I kinda skipped a week so this one is pretty quick in succession. So most of the information is the same however I have now added flower feed. Next week will be flower feed only i recon. Pics are from beginning of previous week so expect pistils to be much more prominent next week. Also found a weird moth

Another week. The weather has been really bad. rain clouds blabla. This is al fine and dandy as long as there are no flowers and since we are currently 2 weeks into flower I needed a solution. So I made a rain shelter with some greenhouse plastics. So far so good. Wondering how it will hold up during wind gusts or even a storm. plastic is easily replaced and cheap but I'd rather not create too much waste. Then regarding the pests problem: It was the last week I could spray them IF I needed to do so and I did. I think the plant took a hit from the shitty weather allowing pests to thrive? Dunno. Anyway with the shelter and the pests getting a bit out control I sprayed them and now I am forced to harvest the earliest on 12 weeks. But I am going to try to aim for earliest 13 weeks, just to be sure although it states on the packaging that it is not harmful to bees/animals/humans... Now on to the plant: she is doing fine. Leaf tucked a bit so all cola's get delicious sunshine. Upped feeding and water. With the shelter I also have a bit more control over the watering process because they have gotten LOTS of rainwater which might have flushed them a couple of times. Anyway frost is starting to show on the leaves. the smell is distinct lemony. Maybe the hardest lemon smell I got from a plant.

When I see how frosty this tiny plant is I get a bit sad that I wasn't able to get a normal plant going from this strain this year. Must be a sight with so many trichomes. I am always shitting on the weather the past days but to be honest the colder nights and the moist hot days seems to be doing wonders for the terps. She reeks very strong and is very very sticky. Bud formation well underway and no sign of bugs anymore. I do notice that fan leaves are dying earlier with the fast buds strain. At first I thought that this was because I had a deficiency but I have it with 2 different strains/plants and I don't see any slowing of growth on the buds... Added green sensastion to the mix again. Still seriously impressed by this product. I swear I can see buds swelling up faster the week I give it to the girls. Could be between my ears but never had this with the other products I use(d). Don't know If I said that I built a shelter last week so: I built a shelter. Makes it a bit easier to regulate water/nute intake and hopefully prevents any bud rot from happening. Gotta watch out for pests again though (rain washes them partly off) Some LST as to not let bud sites touch. that's about it. 3-5 more weeks.

Quick summary of what happened and whats to come: - no update the past weeks because holiday - weather is humid and hot so bud rot fear is real but haven't seen nor smelled anything funky - Had a nitrogen defect which I thought at first was just the fan leaves dying because of life cycle end and also because the calmag has a source of nitrogen as well. Boy was I wrong. (luckily this one wasn't as fucked as the other). Fixed by adding 1.5ml veg feed again. Kinda feel like a dumbass since it was textbook nitrogen deficiency... (so yeh, involuntary defoliation) - Probably have a faulty reading on my ph meter as well, but already compensated for this with the last 2 waterings. - Because of veg feed I also fed the plant the usual so harvest day has been moved back 2 weeks - 2 weeks till harvest unless trichs say something else I'm happy how this small girl is turning out. Some people throw them out if they miss their start but I don't like that and seems like the flowers she made are looking quite tasty.

scorching hot weather is finally over. Nights are getting colder aswell resulting in more dew resulting in more humidity. Time to finish up. First week of flushing. Already fanleaves are starting to fade again. Its ok this time. Got new pistils from heat stress, probably roots too warm. couldnt cool em down efficiently. 1 more week. looks and smells good.

Last week of flushing and chopped. Although they are out of the rain the weather is still quite unfavorable. Cold nights. Mediocre days. lots of clouds and rain. Still some pistils that are white and didnt even bother with the microscope this time. Rather not have any mold developing on the buds. Chopped her and hung her upside down in the 'drying area'. She aint big because of her rough start but the buds sure look good. Now we wait.

Not much to say about this run. rough start: - loosing my twin seedling - this one refusing to germinate like a normal plant. (why cant you just be normal!) The growing went fine although she was a bit stumped. Had some aphid war going on again. Used a pesticide (i know, crucify me) after researching the active ingredient. I also went over the time they claim the product needs to leave the plant completely by about 50% so should be fine. I started a ladybug farm as well this year. I think they did great and I saw more and more of them near the end of the season. Lets hope we can eliminate or atleast get some kinde of balance going on so i dont have to spray again. harvest: - smell was very good - very sticky - seriously bummed she was not bigger vape: - smooth, sweet, sour - mellowed out, uplifted, talkative - Not very potent: normally I mix with herbs as I don't like getting knocked on my ass, but this one I could just load up completely pure. probably also related to how the grow went
