Whilst the plant was very easy to grow and the end bud is good quality, this strain ultimately failed to deliver on its two main selling points"autoflowering" and "dwarf". I bought this strain for a semi-guerilla grow in the middle of a glasshouse. All four seeds germinated successfully in normal potting soil. However all the plants failed to autoflower and instead expressed themselves as photoperiod plants. Because I planted early in the year the main plant grew to nearly 2meters tall before flowering in the fall. Not so stealthy! The main reason for choosing an autoflower was for it to finish in the warm dry months as we often have a wet Fall where I live. Unfortunately, as a photoperiod, I had issues with bud rot and mold at the end and had to harvest earlier than I would have liked. I lost about 1/3 of the harvest in the end. Next time I will try a different strain of autoflower.

Nutrients
Seemed to work well but had to add additional nutrients towards the end.
The cal mag seemed to clear up some issues with leaves in the flowering period. Will definitely use again.

Overall this was an easy strain to grow outdoors. I took quite a relaxed approach to growing. Using normal potting soil and a regular drip watering system. I added some nutrients towards the end but mostly the soil provided all the nutrients needs. As per my strain review, the Royal Dwarf did not autoflower and grew to 2 meters tall. For that reason I don't recommend this strain for outdoor growers. Overall, as I expected, marijunana is a very simple plant to grow. I found it no more difficult that chillies or tomatoes. I'm sure that there are lots of growers tricks that can be used to increase quality and yield but leaving it be and treating it like any other garden vegetable produces excellent results.

I have this plant in a 4l pot, is that big enough? Should I pot on to a larger pot or will that shock the plant too much?

If you have the pot there, why not? It won't shock her too much. But it is only a dwarve strain so probably wouldn't increase your yield that much by changing pots. I'm growing indoors in 4 litres (1 gallon) and they're big enough for me! 🌱👍

Nearly at 9 weeks and there's no sign of any flowers and the plant keeps getting bigger and bigger. Its just shy of 100cm now. Seedbanks states 8-9 to harvest! I’m sure that things are slower outdoors and I just need more patience! Do I have anything to worry about?

I'm growing a dwarf auto-flowering strain in a greenhouse outdoors. Its now been 12 weeks since it sprouted and no sign of flowers. Someone else mentioned that autoflowers sometime switch to photoperiod outdoors. Is this a possible explanation or am I just being impatient?

Unfortunately sometimes not enough of the autoflowering trait is passed on to the offspring genetics. Looks like u have a photoperiod version of the strain instead. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

I'm 12 weeks of vegetative growth deep with an auto-flowering dwarf strain. My plant is nearly 1.5m tall, showing no sign of flowering but I'm starting to get a number of yellow leaves lower down the plant. What is causing this? Should I leave or remove them?

This is normal. If you lightly pull on them they will probably come off. Normal part of growth cycle using sugars from bottom leaves to feed rest of plant. No worries.

After 2/3 weeks of flowering the leaves on one of my plants are turning brown/black on the edges. Should I be worried, how can I fix?

Hi! There is definitely something wrong there but I have not seen this before. Is the soil too wet/soggy? Do you know the pH lf the soil?

Hey! I would say water every other day. That was great for my outdoor garden. Gave her time to take in the nutrients without locking up. Now for how much water.. that depends on how much she’s drinking, how windy, how hot etc.. I use the old finger in the dirt trick. Always till the first knuckle and depending on if it’s normal dry or too dry I add the same amount or more. I pretty much have to check and figure out how much drip works good for your lady. Hope this helped, any questions let me know. Good luck and happy Growing.

Help. After months of babysitting my "autoflowering dwarf" it's finally started flowering. In the last week though all the leaves have become mottled and yellow with burnt brown edges. What can I do to save her?

heya indianqueens , you have pretty severe magnesium deficiency you can tell from the yellowing on the serrated edges of the leafs and a bit of N deficiency which you can see from the yellowing of the oldest leafs first, and calcium deficiency which can you see from the rust colored spots on the leafs . The best thing you can do is to add cal mag or epsom salts as well as some NPK. Hopefully if you do this the problems will stop spreading and the plant will recover in two weeks or so , hopefully. Hope this helps ! 🚀

the Botrytis fungus looks white and fluffy in its initial stage, but you’ll probably never even see this stage before the mold quickly darkens and starts rotting the buds from the inside out

hi friend, we probably have the same batch of seeds. even my plant has a very long vegetative phase, I bought a pack of 5 seeds last winter and with all the seeds I had this problem. 😖

@Newbie_01, interesting that you are having the same issue indoors. I thought it was just because I am growing outdoors. Must be a bad batch of seed?
