18hrs in a glass and it was ready for planting.
Has grown rather well on its first week and I have heard some great things about this strain so quite excited about this grow.
I am not planning to do any LST with this plant, I am just going to allow it to grow as usual.
This has been a bit of a slow grower, looking at other diaries I can see the same thing, nothing wrong with any of that of course just looks like it might flower a little bit longer.
I replanted this a few days ago into a nice long pot. I noticed some slight discoloration so gave a light feed. Still a happy plant.
Its a bit of a slow grower this one. I repotted earlier this week so I expected some slow down but still...
Its got a lot more bushy but will need some nutes soon as I plan to flower this a bit earlier than maybe I should next week. Still a happy plant if not a bit small.
LISTEN UP!
Try ponytailing your plant!
This plant has been a very slow grower with very little bushing so I decided to give so called "ponytailing" a go, in just 48hrs already not only has the plant grown slightly but it has started to bush out quite a bit now. I initially ponytailed the plant for 24hrs then gave 24hrs rest then another 24hrs ponytailing. The results speak for themselves. I will give it a rest this week then ponytail again twice next week.
Very happy with this LST method, try it yourself when your plant is atleast 3 weeks old.
Noticed a massive boost in growth this week probably combined with the feed and ponytailing. The bud sites are not as big as I hoped and this will be the last week before flowering so hopefully it has another boost this week..
Did another ponytail again but just the one this week as it took longer than usual to recover this time.
Despite its slow growth I am still looking forward to it, heard some good things about this one!
Some explosive growth this week after ponytailing it again at the start of the week. I have counted 11 bud sites on this one and have begun the flowering process now.
I was a bit concerned about this one at first as it was very slow at growing but after some LST in ponytailing and feeding it with nutrients it has steamed ahead at full speed.
I have stretched this plant a bit more than I wanted to but I am quite certain it will all work out for the best!
I am very surprised by this plant, it grew so slowly originally and then exploded in growth with multiple buds sites all over the plant!
There is quite a stink coming from this one... Which can only be a good thing!
So happy, healthy and flourishing. Starting to get a very pleasant sweet smell as well.
I am really very excited about this strain, already counted over 20 bud sites!
Real happy with this gal, shes tall, smells nice, looks good and healthy.
I have noticed the stem is a bit wobbly as the buds are beefing up but nothing a bit of care positioning can't resolve.
All is well on the dos si front, its growing quite tall so might have to do something or it will hit my grow light, other than that not much else to say other than strong and healthy.
Its still growing strong but the buds have stopped growing bigger and instead are growing denser, not a bad thing by any means but not what I am used to.
Really looking forward to this harvest, it still smells great!
The buds on this are growing nicely dense, each time I smell it I keep looking forward to finally smoking it!
Might have to give this another few weeks to really get the most out of it as I think its still got some growing to do.
I had harvested my previous plant but this one just didnt seem ready yet so I decided to give her another week to mature a bit further and I am happy to say it was the right decision, now the buds have fattened further and got much denser.
I have defoliated her now and laid her on the side to fatten the buds further and I can see a big difference now!
The day of the chop.
I am glad I gave this an extra week as it frosted up and the buds did puff out a bit more. I was actually a bit sad to cut this one down as so far its been a great plant to grow and I am very happy with the outcome so far.
I even left some leaves on the stalk just for the faint possibility of a re-veg.
Now leaving this to dry out slowly and will take a sample next week before I set it to cure.
Next time will grow in a bigger pot and apply "ponytailing" a bit earlier, was very easy to harvest with compact frosty buds and has a good smell to it.
