First grow and managed to over water it almost straight away! Lesson learnt!

Didn’t take a photo. Slow growth from over watering and then under watering to compensate!

She’s recovered from the over watering and under watering and other than some misshapen leaves she’s started to grow quickly now.

Added some more nutrients to the mix, just a little at first to see how she goes and she’s loving them so far and growing well! I’m following the biobizz feeding guide I found online, but any tips are welcome! Another great week of lovely hot sunny weather and she’s growing fast! Some new branches are starting to grow too! Has a very faint smell now, but only if you’re really close!

The weathers not been so great this week, a lot of rainy days, altho sunny when it’s not raining. I’ve moved her into a mini green house so she doesn’t suffer from overwatering from all the rain! Still lots of growth and she’s shot up from last week.

The weather has been a bit hit and miss this week. It’s been really hot all week and either sunny or tipping it down! No in between. But doesn’t seem to have mattered too much and she’s had lots of growth and has shot up and has finally (I think?) started to flower. I’ve been sheltering her in a mini green house when it does tip it down, but leaving it open, so the heat won’t build up and stress her out.

We’ve great weather all week, really sunny and hot! She’s had loads of growth but I think she’s finished growing any taller, as she’s stopped at 70cm for the last few days. Buds are developing nicely and she’s got a nice smell to her! I’m really excited to see the buds develop! Had a few black flying bugs hanging around so I’ve treated her and added some sticky fly paper strips around the inside rim of her pot. I’ve been manually squishing all the ones that I spotted throughout the day. Hopefully they will bugger off!

We’ve had beautiful weather all week. Really hot and sunny and as a result she’s had loads of growth. She’s only grown up a few centimetres but has filled out all over and she’s really starting to bud up and smells amazing! Had a problem with something having a munch on some of the leaves last week. So I moved one of my potted cabbages next to her, as a sacrifice to whatever bug king it’s is and that seems to have distracted it! 😊 I can’t wait to see how big those buds get!

The weathers not been so good this week, warm but cloudy. But she’s she still budding up nicely! Some of her lower fan leaves are starting the yellow slightly, but I read this is normal as the plant reaches maturity. Really happy with my first grow so far!

The weather has been rubbish this week. Warm but cloudy and raining all week! I’m glad I’d invested in my little plastic greenhouses, cheap but do the job, I would definitely having some issues with bud rot if not.

We’ve had another week of rubbish weather and so I’ve decided not to follow the feeding biobizz guide completely and I’m keep feeding and let the buds grow a bit more instead of flushing, which is what it recommends on this week. Probably harvest week 14 if the weather stays good. Any advise from those who know better is welcome! Update Had a slight problem with a few caterpillars. I have managed to remove them, but unfortunately some unnoticed damage to couple of the buds on the main cola, started to rot and I had the start of dreaded bud rot! Thankfully I caught it early (I check them over every day) and removed all of the affected buds, just to be on the safe side. After removing the affected buds, the majority of it was fine, so I’ve left it to dry, so i can try it later. I was planning on cutting a bit off as a sample anyway, but definitely wasn’t gonna go for main cola! I feel like her heart has been ripped out! 😭

Unfortunately this week has not been a good week for my quick one and she suffered some caterpillar damage, it wasn’t a lot but unfortunately it was was in the worse possible place! They ate into the main bud, severing lots of stems, which then kicked of the dreaded bud rot!! To say I’m gutted is an understatement. Ive removed all of the affected buds and all seems fine, i would harvest but she doesn’t look mature enough yet! So i’m gonna just gonna keep an eye on her and if she has any more develop, then she’ll be for the chop!

So I’ve bought a magnifying glass and I’ve been checking her trichomes and she’s not ready yet, although her leaves have yellowed, quite a bit now. She I’ve decided to feed for one more week and the hopefully start flushing the week after!

It’s been really hot and sunny all week and she’s really fattened up nicely. I’ve started flushing now and will harvest next week.

Unfortunately in my rush to get her trimmed and stored away to dry, I forgot to weigh her! Her buds are pretty loose and airy and I put that down to the soil she was in. I planted her in some bog standard compost, which was just too dense and heavy for her roots, how I wish I’d waited for my biobizz light mix to be delivered! But considering I overwatered her and stunted her growth in her early days and I lost most of her main cola to bud rot, I’m pretty happy with what I got! I got up at sunrise to cut her down and left her to dry in my airing cupboard for 5 days and she is now curing in jars. I’ve also got a big bag of trimming which I’m gonna attempt to make into some squishy. So wish me luck with that! I will update when she’s finished curing and I’ve sampled some!!! I’ve loved sharing my grow on here and I thank all those who have shared their dairies here before me. They have been a wealth of knowledge and I’m sure I wouldn’t have been successful with my grow, in anyway, without them!!!
