Day 21-28 (May 21st - May 28th) (Day 22) I got all of the autoflowers on standby ready for their respective homes. I’m going to plant tomorrow after I see a bit more root. (Day 23) Grapefruit and g33 are in my raised beds and should pop out over the next few days. I’ve been reading up on companion planting with weed and I’m going to put a marigold, chives and dill plant in with each plant/cell in the bed. Hopefully this will help keep aphids away this season. I amended my containers for the Dr.seedsman and exodus cheese and got them planted as well. These seeds are looking fat and healthy. Healthier than the grapefruits and g33s. Meatbreath seeds are poking out. I’m going to throw them into some unamended promix hp. I hate using this stuff to start seeds in because of how high the PPMs are and how corse the perlite is but it still beats peat pellets imo. I need an actual seed starting mix or just some coco. Oh well. Unfortunately all my seeds are sprouted and in dirt already. (Day 24) Big fuck up today. I forgot to water the cheeses and dr. seedsmans after transplant and they got almost a full day of dry soil. These things may not recover honestly. I guess we’ll see over the next few days. Slurricanes are looking happy as shit. Purple tuna is leading everything in growth. Some family members and friends want a few plants so I’m going to gift TWOG and my blackberry breath bag seeds. I’ve run bbb twice already. I’m also running TWOG right now and am not too impressed. Also not trying to risk a herm outdoors. Day (28) What a nerve wracking week. I didn’t think the plants in the raised bed were going to come up but here they are. All 16/16. Some were looking super iffy too. 2 of the Dr. Seedsman’s and 2 of the cheeses didn’t make it because of my fuck up earlier in the week. One of the extra grapefruits I just threw into the empty amended cheese smart pot. Not a great start but not the worst either. Hopefully they’re not too stunted because I hear that can make or break autoflowers. Oh well. Slurricanes, meat breath and tunas are all looking good. I keep forgetting to take pictures but there is not a whole lot to see yet anyway.

Anyone here have experience growing an auto that’s been severely stunted? I direct sowed into a rich soil and have had very little growth in the last 3 weeks. Will a stunted auto start flowering once it reaches a certain height? Or will I have 5 inch tall dwarf plants?

The problem with auto is once they get shocked they have a hard time to recover and in a lot of cases they will hermaphrodite at the end
