Tropicanna Poison by Sweet Seeds

Planting her this late in the season is a bit of an experiment. I want to see how much she'll grow before flowering, and how fast she'll finish compared to 3 autos at the same age. Day 4; She seems fast already, showing off her F1 features. She's growing a little bit faster than her 3 pot neighbours of same age.

Day 9; We've had some bad weather and I had to shelter her from the rain.

Day 15; She was moved indoors yesterday. This one seems to be a fast grower. Day 17; I topped her above node 4. Node 1 was removed leaving nodes 2, 3, and 4 to shape the plant. Day 21; She still grows well. One of my top grower at the moment.

Day 23; She's really bushy and I removed a few leaves for better light penetration Day 25; LST started today. All main branches are bent downwards

Day 33; She has grown well and is outgrowing her space in the tent. I'll put her outside to start her flowering shortly. I improved the space in the tent by adding some frames that'll stop the walls from being sucked inwards.

Day 1 of flower; She gets a rough start outdoors with some strong winds. I hope she'll hold up. Tonight she'll get a spraying of Neem to prepare her for the outdoor bugs that are sure to come and visit.

I have been disconnected from my ISP and haven't been able to update the diary in a few weeks. Due to poor weather I moved the girls indoors. It's a bit tight, but better than outside at the moment. Day 24 of flower; Due to her position it's hard to take pictures of her. She has been growing well and I expect her to produce some pretty flowers.

Day 32 of flower; This girl is supposedly a fast flowerer. She's sharing the light with 3 other plants of different strains and until now I have not noticed much difference in bud growth between them. Now I see her buds have swelled a little bit more than her sisters. It'll be interesting to see her bud development speed from now. She's starting to get sticky and she's giving off a lovely smell.

Day 41 of flower: Her buds are starting to swell and I see a tendency to a purple colour. She's sticky to the touch and she's got a lovely smell.

Day 48 of flower; She keeps on adding size and she's showing some nice purple colours. She is sticky and is loading up with trichomes. Her beautiful smell gets stronger.

Day 55 of flower; This lady is starting to show some nice colours. She also got some White Powdery Mildew (WPM) that I found yesterday. I washed some off with a wet paper towel, and I sprayed her with H2O2. I also picked some leaves that were badly infected. Today she looks good. I've ordered a Propolis product that will then hopefully make sure the plants won't get the WPM back. Day 56 of flower; Flushing started

Day 61 of flower - Harvest; This girl started off growing very strongly. The initial plan was to keep her outdoors, but as soon as she started to flower I realised the weather was not going to keep her happy. I had to move her indoors under my small light together with 3 other girls where it was way too tight. Anyway, given the circumstances she's done very well. Her buds have developed beautifully and they show some pretty colours. Her stickiness and sweet smell bring promises of some great times ahead.
