One more week until the chop! The buds are looking mature and beautiful and the yard smells great! I feel bad for my neighbors though lol. After going back and forth on this, I’m gonna feed bat guano one last time today. Then straight water for the rest of the week. The girls are looking very underfed and I want them to have a bit more nutes to finish strong. My understanding is there isn’t as much of a need to flush with organic ferts. Also, the fact that they’re clearly so underfed means there isn’t an excess anyways. One more week of straight sun to finish these girls off. I’ll be experimenting with washing the buds after chopping this year for a smoother taste.

A couple plants have twisted leaves. I’m thinking it’s a light issue? I’ve been watering every other day (when dry) so don’t think it’s that. I have 2 60w full spectrum LED lights a few inches away. Might not be enough but I’ll be putting them outside once we get some sun.

anyway, give it time before reacting to this. I've seen many twisted 1-blade serrated leaves. could be pH related or heat. Be carefuly when watering so al not to drastically shift and disturbe the soil, thereby hindering or damaging roots. if you've been fertilizing, relax until the cotyledons start to fade. your soil likely is loaded for a while.

I’m using Blue Sky Organics Super Soil in a 3 Gallon pot. Just curious if/when I should add any more fertilizer? I figured it would have enough to last a few weeks at least. I’m thinking of adding bat guano at some point. Maybe once they start flowering?

unless you keep re-potting or use huge pots, the tank runs out eventually (nutrients). i'd read the plant and react as you likely typically do. always safer to wait for a hint of fade at bottom. then start slowly and work your way up to whatever normal strength is for your products and context. if plant never shows signs of deficiency and grows vigorously.. no need. impossible to put a clock to it in our contexts. you've got a blemish or two, bt i have no idea what they are, for example, and difficult to know what is in soil to start. always a little trial and error as you go.

Blue Dream has been growing much slower and is about half the size. All 5 plants have had the same conditions and feeding. Any thoughts on what could be the issue? We have been having some rain so I’m wondering if It’s overwatered? Looks healthy besides being slow. Thanks

Ye like mentioned not all seeds have the same genetics. Usually when the upper growth slows down it means that its establishing its rootzone a bit further. You say you had rain, probably some wind as well, exposing the plant to such conditions will trigger a response such as increase the rootzone so its grasp with the earth is better and wont get damaged or uprooted by winds. After its finished adjusting itself for a better grip its gonna explode in upward growth. Its absolutely normal, i wouldnt worry ^_^

Cheez has a leaf tip that turned brown. I noticed on the top flower that some of the small leaves on the bud have brown tips as well (first 2 pictures). I’m assuming nutrient burn? I’ve only been using bat guano but I guess a bit too much. No signs on the other plants.

It looks a little underfed to me. Under fed can also make your tips brown but their pale green first. I would get some bloom fert and feed at half what the bottle recommends. Cheers friend

Should I flush when using organic fertilizer? I’ve been adding some bat guano during flower and had super soil to start. I’m probably close to 2 weeks before harvest, maybe a bit more. Should I start to use only water from now on? The girls are showing deficiencies though.

In my opinion about flushing Flushing organic soil -you don’t need to flush organic soil. They are acting like slow release fertilizer for your plants. You will not get any toxicity in organic soil as long as your soil is in proper pH range.By flushing,You only wash away minerals like beneficial bacteria and microorganisms from soil. Flushing inorganic soil or soilless medium -Not like the organic soil,When you flush inorganic soil or soilless medium, You will wash away everything you feed that are still in your medium. So most grower did their flushing when it comes close to harvest.By doing that, plants will only get what is left in their system and start showing deficiency. When harvest, there will be nothing left of any inorganic material and you will get nice smell and taste buds.Another time for flushing inorganic soil or soilless medium is when you see some nutrient lock out followed by toxicity. That is due to improper soil pH and excess use of nutrients.By flushing, you will get rid of what’s excess in your medium and flush until your run off ppm show 0~50ppm and pH around 6.0~6.5.After that you need to feed your plant, the right nutrients types and right concentration in right pH range.Happy Growing... ✌️

Does touching the buds at all while they’re drying reduce potency? I’ve been checking them daily and touch the odd one from time to time. Should I just leave them alone and focus on snapping a stem to determine if they’re dry enough?

Hey Growmie, I wouldn't advise doing it because the oils from your finger could rub off your trichomes, which will mess with the potency if you have to touch them touch one only and yes focus on the stem snapping to determine if it's dry enough. Hopefully, this answers your question and remember ..."Happy Growing" and "Free your mind one puff at a time".

@@NobodysBuds thanks for the response. I figured it might not be a big deal, but thought I’d check. They’re meant to be outdoors, so I cheaped out on the lights. Gonna introduce them to the sun gradually this week. Then buy legit grow lights for next time.

@@NobodysBuds, I’m a newb so I always appreciate any advice. Last year I burned my plants using coco and liquid ferts. So this year I switched to organic to be a little less hands on. I hadn’t thought to wait until they show a bit of deficiencies which makes sense. I’d rather be on the lighter side Rather than over fertilizing. Although my guano doesn’t show nutrient levels so not too sure how much nitrogen there is lol. Oh well, hopefully they switch to flower soon and don’t need much N anyways. 👍

@@NobodysBuds, thanks again for your response to another grow question. Sorry I forgot to respond. I think the blemishes are from when i foliar sprayed with a growth plus spray. Maybe salt build up or something. Didn’t seem to hurt the plants in fact they had a spurt right after. I have started to notice a couple of them have yellow new bottom leaves. So I think I will start to add a reduced amount of bat guano. I read that one of the pros with guano is its difficult to burn plant’s unless used excessively. Regardless, I will be starting with maybe a quarter dosage and go from there. Thanks again!

@GMSgrows thanks for the info! I was initially thinking underfed at first but then the brown tip confused me. Will feed a bit more. Thanks!

@CTCan, just a little more at a time. Watch new growth to green up some. Your doing it right. Less is best, only feed what they need...

@Bushbaby808, thanks! Ya I am adding bat guano now to feed during flower. It doesn’t show percentages, but it does say it’s meant for flower. I’m hoping that’s enough but I guess we’ll see. Trying to add as little as possible and keep it organic this grow.

If a strain says it's 75 days I would start when you have the first true leaves appear to be honest although I've read everywhere on here never to go by breeder harvest times as they always way out!! 👍

@Bushbaby808, thanks! Very grateful we a free to do so here in Canada without worry. Although eventually I’d like to be indoors for better control. I’m really excited for the blue dream. I hope it looks half as good as yours in the end 👍

@DinafemSeeds, Hi Mark, Just curious about the timeline for the autos. From your site, it says 70-75 days. Is that from when they break ground? Or from when the seed is first planted? Thanks!
