Purple lemonade Fastbuds 420

Time for the purple lemonade. We’ve been meaning to grow this one since we got the seeds. This was the first seeds we won from fastbuds off the Halloween contest last year. I love the looks of the purple genetics in any strain so hopefully this one shows strong. Time will tell. That’s about it for now. See you next week!

Still just tap water this week. She’s hopping right along about what I figure it would. Not a whole lot going on this week. No nutrients yet. I’ll prolly introduce them next week. This fox farm soil does a really good job starting the young ones like this.

Nutrients have finally came in and we’re off to the races. I’m starting a little on the lower side of dosage they recommend until I get to know these nutes a little better. I’m really impressed with all that green buzz liquids has in this pro series line up. So far I’m really impressed with the depth of their line up. Back to the plant. This little one had some trauma last night as you can see she’s bent. It’s not damaged, but the pot got knocked over and it stretched sideway towards the light a bit. She’s straighting out now. Sprouting up and piling on foliage as we go, all looks pretty decent so far. We will see ya next week!

Upped the nutrients this week. She’s growing up and out and getting ready to explode with growth. Everything is looking good, not much to talk about yet. Thanks for looking.

Flowering has started! She’s been a short compact plant so far. Even with the stretch figured I don’t think this will be a monster. However she’s going to be a nice pretty one when done. The indica dominance is clear. Nice fat fan leaves and super thick stalk already. Hopefully she’s gearing up for some nice buds. Started running the greenbuzz bloom liquids this week, so we will see how it goes. So far, I’m really impressed with them so far. Until next week, have a good one.

Another week down, another boost of growth. This thing is really powering through it. The indica traits showing strong. The stalk on this thing is comparatively really thick. Hopefully signs it’s setting up for something big. She’s still stretching a bit, but it appears to be slowing down now. All in all I’m real happy with how she’s looking. For a plant I put off growing for so long, she’s really making me wish I hadn’t. Until next week . . . See ya!

Finally a week with something to say. When life gives ya lemons, make purple lemonade. Cat decided to jump on the tent which knocked down one of the fans and snapped the main stem on her this week. So some repair and Z training was in order. I sure wish I hadn’t been so hesitant to grow this strain. She’s getting gorgeous early on in flowering. We finally got one that makes some darker colors, and we’re loving it. One thing worth mentioning, this girl really stretched this week. And I mean REALLY stretched. Them snapped. I’m not concerned about it. Snapping a stem or two is almost standard procedure at this point. Thanks for looking. I bet next week will be gorgeous!

Well the colors keep on piling on. This is one pretty plant. She’s about recovered from the fan falling on her. She’s really just putting on the weight now. Not a whole lot to say right now. See ya next week!

Another week down, more purple coming. This lady continues to fill me with regret for not running already. She just keeps showing off her natural beauty. Not much has changed this week. Just the buds filling out and building up. I think that’s about it. See ya next week.

This one everyone has been waiting for . . I honestly don’t know why I even type anything in down here. Once the pics are seen, that’s as far as anyone’s gonna go. Can’t say I blame you. This one is GORGEOUS. The colors amaze us just a little more each time I say it every week and this week is no different , I’m glad we finally decided to grow this one. Anyway, see ya next week.

Well, we are going to go ahead and start searching for the fade. She’s about as swollen as I think she’s going to get, so time to start flushing. I imagine we will get another week or two out of her still. These buds are dense. Very dense it seems actually. The smells are still on the floral side thus far. Is the color purple had a smell, this is what I imagine it would be. Reminds you of a nice country road walk in spring as a kid. Well, here we are at the end of quite the journey. This has been such a fun grow. Not many problems. Everything seemed to go pretty decent. But this is it. This will be the last weekly update with the harvest coming later this week. As usual we will try to do some harvest photos before we chop her down. The plant itself is interesting. Almost a floral scent to her. She’s really going to be strong in the flavors department. I’m sure of that. It’s hard to get good a good view of the trichomes, but she’s gonna give it a good shot harvest time. The purples are everywhere. In the buds, the sugar leaves, just a gorgeous plant. I don’t know that I want to run this again just because now I have this imagine of what purple lemonade should look like. Just really a show piece I’m glad we got to grow and capture. Well, here we are at the end of another one. She was a real joy to grow through out. Had some pK issues to work through but with new nutrients, it was expected. The colors of this pheno went crazy. I can’t imagine growing a more vibrant plant. I’ve got to get some weights and get things updated when time comes. But the trimming and pics are done, that’s a harvest.
