BatGuanoanswered grow question 4 years ago I am always in favour of defoliation and I really saw its benefits especially during flowering. You can use a high-defoliation by removing all the big fan leaves at the beginning of flowering. She will grow new fresh leaves within 2 weeks, and the flowers will get more light in the meantime, and get bigger.
You can also notice that the leaves which don't get enough light doesn't develop much and the plant left it to dry anyway. So under the canopy you should also take away the leaves which doesn't get any light.
I hope this helps.
Happy growing!
