It’s my first grow and I’d love to hear any feedback. I’m growing in a space bucket. I watered using a spray bottle In a 2-3 inch diameter from the stem. I only watered when the top of the soil looked almost it completely dry.
By the end of day 2 her cotyledons were still stuck in the seed so I sprayed gently and helped remove with a tweezers.
Lights are on 24hrs to help with temperature control. No nutrients added although in hindsight I’d have used a root stimulant.
I played around with a dome to try to increase humidity.
Day 9 - The soil looked dry and felt dry 1.5 inches below the top of the soil. Gave water until small amount of runoff (approx 5%). Watered approx 1L using Water PHd down to approx 6.2/6.4.
Day 14 - The soil didn’t feel fully dry a knuckle down but it’s 5 days since her previous watering. I didn’t want to water again until the soil had dried out a bit but I went for it anyway. 1ml Bio Grow, 1ml CalMag & total watering approx 750ml. Runoff was approx 10-15%. PH of water/feed was 6.6. PH of runoff was 6.2.
I did some research on LED light distances and decided to move it closer as she’s looking like she’s 3/4 days behind other similar plants I’ve seen in other people’s diaries. So I moved her from 66cm (26inch) to 26cm (10inch) closer to the light. Hopefully that doesn’t shock her.
I’m pretty happy with progress considering it’s my first grow but have a couple of concerns.
Some of my wife's outdoor grow did this. I'm guessing it was from cold temps. Freaked me out thought something was wrong. Two days later they were nice new green leaves. So nothing to worry about! Happy Growing!
As well Green Gelato I have another plant growing (Royal AK auto) as an experiment and it’s showing some issues. Both plants are grown under the exact same conditions including light/feeds etc. the only difference is that the Royal AK is in a smaller pot. Any ideas on the issues?

All plants are going to go at their own rate regardless of how perfect we keep the conditions. The royal ak might have a less vigorous veg growth than the green gelato but might prove to be the stronger during flowering.
The only difference is their pot size, so any chance the ak is drying out faster or possibly staying wet longer? Thats the only possibility i could see, if so maybe keep her a little closer to the fan to dry faster and water more often or the opposite, away from air to keep soil wet longer?
