Germination (1-2 weeks)- seed to first leaves
1. Sun, 10/5 - Germination - Papertowel and 2 plates, closet is 22 degrees but on warming sheet in case It drops. Misting time to time. 2 SEEDS EXPOSED TO MOISTURE IN DARK
2. Mon, 11/5 - Germination - Consistently at 22 degrees, mat set as backup in case temp drops below that, Misting. (note: weather is about to get colder for at least a week and grow tent occupied with other grow so might be a bit too early still to try this experiment using compact fluo bulb):
SEEDS SHOWING TAP ROOTS.
3. Tues, 12/5 - Germination - monitoring 22-23 consistently without mat in dark closet : 2 SEEDS PLANTED IN SMALL CUPS, WELL WATERED.
4. Wed, 13/5 - Germination - As above, misting: Germination maintained: PATIENCE.
5. Thurs, 14/5 - Germination - Misting and addition of cfo bulb: 2 SEEDLINGS EMERGING.
6. Fri, 15/6 - Germination - Nothing in terms of care: 2 SEEDLINGS GROWING A STEM.
7. Sat, 16/5- Germination - Added the CFL light for 8 hours and already stretching as I hadn’t done anything yesterday leaving them in the dark. Misted: 2 BARE STEMS AND NOT SURE LEAVES WILL OPEN AFTER YESTERDAYS LACK OF LIGHT.
8. Sun, 17/5 - Germination - Light on 24. Comfy in closet with CFO about 6 inches above. Misted: 2 TINY SEEDLINGS WITH FOUR TINY LEAVES, CLEARLY STRETCHED AFTER FIRST DAY OF NEGLECT.
9. Mon, 18/5 - Germination - Light watering, Comfy in closet, lamp 24h about 4 inches above: 2 SEEDLINGS WITH TINY 2 LEAVES EACH
10. Tues, 19/5 - Germination - No watering, no change in experimental grow (not monitoring temp or humidity though ambient is in range): 1 WITH HEALTHIER 2 LEAVES, OTHER STRETCHED OUT AND SECOND LEAVES NOT REALLY OPEN.
11. Wed, 20/5 - Germination- Light watering: 1 WITH 2 STRONGER LEAVES, THE OTHER MORE STUNTED.
12. Thurs, 21/5 - Germination - Misting: 2 SMALL SEEDLINGS WITH TINY PAIR OF LEAVES.
13. Fri, 22/5 - Germination - Light watering: 2 TINY SEEDLINGS FOUR LEAVES GETTING A BIT LONGER AND STRONGER.
Seedling (2-3 weeks) - first leaves to full cannabis leaf and repotted
14. Sat, 23/5 - Seedling - Misting (Light clearly not strong enough and will try to find a second hanging socket and CFO bulb): NO NOTICEABLE GROWTH, 1 STILL WITH FOUR STRONG FIRST LEAVES, OTHER ONE NEVER REALLY NICELY DEPLOYED.
15. Sun, 24/5- Seedling - misting: SLOW GROWTH OF NEXT LAYER OF LEAVES ON ONE OF THE TWO.
16. Mon, 25/5 - Seedling - light watering: NO SIGNIFICANT CHANGE.
17. Tues, 26/5 - Seedling - light watering: NEXT LAYER OF 2 LEAVES ON BOTH PLANTS, SLOW GROWING.
18. Wed, 27/5 - Seedling - Misting only. Temp 26, light distance 35, humidity goes up to 60 at night but trying to keep closer to 45 during day: 9 PLANTS IN GOOD SHAPE, GREW TALLER SINCE YESTERDAY, ALL EXPOSED TO LIGHT AND GOOD AIR FLOW.
19. Thurs, 28/5 - Seedling - Watering: 2 PLANTS DOING OKAY AND GROWING SLOWLY.
20. Fri, 29/5 - Seedling - pH 6.3 adjusted full watering, temp 26, humidity 45, lamp distance 35 from highest: 2 PLANTS GROWING SLOWLY WITH STRONGER MOST RECENT LEAVES, NEXT SET APPARENT.
21. Sat, 30/5-Mon, 1/6- Seedling - watered: CONTINUED GROWTH OF SEEDLINGS.
22. Tues, 2/6 - Fri, 5/6- Seedling - Light watering (will replant with full cannabis leaf and good timing to go outside): NEXT SET OF LEAVES GROWING.
23. Sat, 6/6- Seedling - Repotted and significant pH adjusted watering, second CFO added: 2 PLANTS TRANSPLANTED IN FINAL POT AND GROWING NEXT SET OF LEAVES.
24. Sun, 7/6 - Seedling - no watering as plants adjust to new soft pots and additional cfo bulb (depending on weather next weeks may move outside soon with next signs of full fan leaves): NEXT SET OF LEAVES GROWING AND SIGNS OF GROWTH AT NODE.
Hi experts, 10 weeks in planning major harvest, took a few stems, all cloudy and leaving majority to allow full development to amber. Issue is in photo - is this bud rot??? Thought it was the remains of dried leaves at base. Thank you!
Budrot is hard to discover in the beginning, the plantmertial changes and gets softer, and brown, and it smells... if you open up the bud you will see it more clear........
from your Pictures its hard to tell if those buds are rotting
I let you alink to better pictures
If you have budrot.... no darkness for the ladies and aquick harvest, because rotting is very fast
and it goes on during curing the buds
So i you can confirm rot... cut the rotting bud and throw it away
no keeping of parts of the bud........ it continues

@Xspellsx,thanks so much! I do feel like a proud parent. Still a few weeks looking like. Thing is that I just replaced my tent and stocked on soil so am probably a whole grow cycle away from trying hydro.
Looking great! 42cm (I.e. 420 mm) seems a logical distance to me! “Variety is the spice of life”, according to some dude from the 1800s - it’s good to work with the different phenotypes at the same time, especially when started at the same time, it helps you dial into those final adjustments you may have overlooked before. First singns of rotting Buds are wilting small leaves into the bud ( sugarleaves) and if you put them away you see more. Open the buds to look for brown grey .. Plantmass
