Wednesday 06.17.20 Day 1 of Week 7 / Quick check on ladies today, environment dialed in, no issues noted, took pictures and posted, tomorrow is Feeding and Watering Day / I may go ahead and do another round of IPM to make sure I do not have a reoccurrence of those Spider Mites. Yesterday Wife was helping in the grow room and dropped a fan on plant #1 and broke the main manifold, tape and wire she doses not looking like she is losing ground, you can see the tape.
Thursday 06.18.20 Day 2 of Week 7 / Just a quick feeding/watering
Friday 06.19.20 Day 3 of Week 7 / Today I did a quick treatment with Mammoth CannControl pot felt heavy so no watering
Saturday 06.20.20 Day 4 of Week 7 / Fed Watered - Looked at Leaves for Bugs - All Looked Well
Sunday 06.21.20 Day 5 of Week 7 / Observations today - All within Scope
Monday 06.22.20 Day 6 of Week 7 / Plants are looking like a small amount of potassium excess - Adjusting with plan H20 PHed at 6.2 for a few days,
Tuesday 06.23.20 Day 7 of Week 7 / More PH H20
=======WEEKLY GOALS =======
๐Environment / Maintain temperatures, humidity, as plants continue to grow and pack on bud weight will have to keep lights at the proper height.
๐ง Feeding / Plants are looking like a small amount of potassium excess - Adjusting with plan H20 PHed at 6.2 for a few days,
๐Training / Keeping an eye on side branching while allowing the plant to grow stress-free, first time doing Nugg-Buckets
๐ท๏ธ IPM / Moving to 1x per month, Green Cleaner" 1 OZ per Gallon, to ensure that the Spider Mites stay gone.
Thanks @Pajersey13, aside from the excess potassium i think they would even look better, I hope to carry that training process over to my MrJones FastBuds Gelato Grow #4 Grow, The buds at least are starting to get chunky though :0), just do not want to flush out all the microbes but suppose I will if by Tuesday they do not look better! You're Gorilla Glue looks badass and I am very excited to each the fruity pebbles grow, I may have to try that soon.
Thanks, @Dday314, just took a peek at them after work today and they are all pointed up and growing - should be the last real training I have to do to them they should just produce some buds, and hope they get chunky, going to start 5 fresh seeds today and plan on the same training process, will try and document close - thanks so much for the like and looking at the diary :)
Ive got 2 auto seeds I usually dont top but I wanna try, this gives me hope. Was nervous if I topped more than twice i'm stressing her out. Do you top in more than once place a session or do you do 1 and allow it to recover?Obviously this would only occur the second or third time topping.
@ChefSpliff, I have always been ruff on my Autos, all I have truly grown, until recently "My Jedi Kush Grow" I find as long as the plants are growing fast then you can ruff them up a bit, this process requires only toping the main cola 2 times and the 2 side branches directly under the 1 time, truly whole process and recover should be less than a week, Week 4 seems to be the sweet spot, as in week 5 these girls often flower and the stretch is used to drive the manifolds - again this is only the first 2 attempts at this but will know more after these next seeds get planted.
I am also in the culinary industry!
Hey there,
Thanks so much for running a diary of our genetics ๐
Let us know if you need any assistance, weโre more than happy to help.
Happy Growing !!! ๐ฑโ๏ธ๐ด๐๐ฟ๐ณ
Looks nice and frosty ! How did you find your results topping and mainlining an auto vs just LST? Did you find it created a lot of stress for it or handled pretty well?
Looks like a successful grow to me!
@MrJones, Hmm gotcha! I have always topped autos for some reason, should run one without topping and just lst to compare. I just recently switched from a peat mix with plastic pots to fabric with coco/perlite and love it. I find my plants are able to build bigger root systems and quicker than my old soil setup. Good luck with the ventures sir!
@@CloneKingz, I have been brutal on auto flowers, the ones that grow hard anyway, have to pick and choose your warriors carefully, this plant was topped but not mainlined, you see I let it get 6 nodes, the side branching on the 3rd and 4th node was really nice so I topped above the 4th node, then topped the 2 sides branching there and again on the side branching at the 3 nodes, each one of the 4 side branches produced 2 colas that I fashioned into the manifold look, all this was done before the end of the 4th week, by the end of the 5th week we had flower and the stretch - honestly they looked great but the yield was meh. So I will try the same process in an upcoming Cream mandarin Grow, thinking to grow 2/3 plants in COCO Coir using MEGACROP and see the difference between, I am just not a huge fan any longer of salt-based nutrients. Setting up a drain system to measure run off, PPM, EC seems like a pian, but nothing ventured nothing gained.
So beautiful ๐ต๏ธ
I was thinking to grow this strain but I have small growroom 40x40 cm, so I have decided to grow fasberry now. If it's not hard for you, could you please measure width of the plant? Maybe I will try this strain next.
@MrJones, 14 inches across not so big for my growbox. I think it will fit perfectly. Thanks for your answer and your dairies really cool. So detailed and interesting :)
Thanks! @VanillaBud, the way I have this plant trained it is about 12 inches high and 12 to 14 inches across, each but is about 4 to 6 inches tall and 2 to 4 inches around - I think I could have yielded more with a SCROG doing 3 plants in 5-gallon Buckets - I do love the way it looks as well - thanks again for stopping by and taking time to comment!
Great job!! These look amazing! Bud size may have not been to your liking but Iโm sure the quality will still be great! Iโll be growing gelato as well my next grow!๐๐ฝ
