Week 10 - Flowering Week 6
Day 64 - Plant 1 still showing long white pistils and some orange pistils, still 10cm above plant 2. Tallest points now approximately 30cm. Plant 2 now showing a lot of orange pistils and trichomes starting to look milky. Still at 20cm tall. Time to flush this one?
Day 65 - Flushing done on both plants with regular tap water.
Day 66 - Been brought to my attention that plant 1 seems to be re-vegging which is causing the tiny buds and stretched stems. Top 2cm taken from each bud stem, will repeat for the coming days to get the lower buds to fatten up. Will provide basic nutes for a couple of days and resume flushing in 5-7 days. / Plant 2 flushed again.
Day 67 - Plant 1 Fed with Nutes 400mm (1ml Fish Mix, 2ml Top Max, 2ml Bloom) / Plant 2 flushed again - Both plants moved into new, taller tent (no change to environment)
Day 68 - Top node clipped off Plant 1; Small amount of Acetone Hash made from clippings.
Day 69 - Plant 2 Flushed with Water / Plant 1 returned to normal flowering feed (1ml/L Biobizz Grow, 1ml/L Fish Mix, 4ml/L Top Max, 4ml/L Bloom, 5ml/L Bio-Heaven, 5ml/L Activera, 5ml/L Molasses
Can anyone tell me why the bud sites have grown these elongated thin stems on one plant and not the other? Also noticed it has much less foliage.
Maybe it's down to the main stem snap in week 3/4?
If everything was the same with both plants. (Strain, feeding, soil, light) then chances are it was stunned when it broke .
She's probably been stunned when broke and is a week or two behind the other.
Thanks guys, must be the break as it flowered early too... I also noticed some brown spots on both plants, some leafs . Worried it's mold but it wipes off with moisture and I've been misting with molasses water. Staining from too much molasses in the mister maybe?
probably just dried up molasses.
have a cause to foliar spray, otherwise you are inviting more problems than it helps. in extreme case appling minerals to leaves may or may not help more immediately with problems... imapcting transpiration and creating an environment ripe for microbial growth in the meantime.
Well your photos sucks lol so it’s hard to tell. But from what I can see id start to flush
Give her the chop in a week or so. Get a loop and look at the tricomes. They should be about 20 % amber
A bit late I know but just wanna confirm I've done the right thing flushing now? Gave up on fattening up plant 1's buds, the stem break has had clear lasting effects. Despite both being rootbound, plant 2 looks healthy. Thoughts anyone (apologies for the image quality)?
Definitely flushing was on point fam! Good call. Enjoy your harvest. Looks like u were feeding too much nitrogen during the flowering period so make it a good solid flush.
Anyone know why I can't edit my grow diary the past few days or why the profile pics (within all of the grow diaries) and all of the images in all grow diaries are greyed out?
Hello
In my time here grow diaries has had many glitches and fixed many things. If you ever submit a diary for a contest that will lock you out of editing it. But other things the best thing to do is message GD directly with the problem so they can fix it.✌️
Almost looks like hit the one with gerberic acid. But can see its in re-veg which is weird if doing same on both plants. Take 1-2 mm off top of the lanky to start back budding and fill it out a bit.
Thanks @@Ttrichome - yeah man, first grow and pot was way too small from the get go, this caused nutes issues the whole grow. Runoff TDS was never where I wanted it and I over-watered a lot in the first couple of weeks because I'd misinterpreted a feeding schedule's water quants per feed, early on.
To make matters worse the first plant's main stem snapped low down, early on. She recovered but it completely stunted it's growth and caused that stem stretching deformity you can see in the pics... All of these mistakes caused stunted growth and lead to deficiencies and over-fertilisation... I've 2 Northern Lights Autos in the same tent and despite being a bit slower to finish flowering, these plants did much better with slightly different treatment, but still, root bound on both of these as well.
Anyway, phunk it! Made a lot of mistakes on this one but learned a lot from these mistakes so I'm not too bothered. Thanks for the input.
@DayMeeYen,its all about the learning fam! Trial and error. Nobody knows everything about growing cannabis. Your always progressively learning stuff and new ways to do things. It's when u stop wanting to research and stay open that u stop learning.

@DayMeeYen, yes I'd leave the one a bit longer than the other. Here's how I would back bud it. Take the tip of tops day 1. Day 3 move to the 2nd node. Day 5 -3rd so on a so forth. Should see it filling out within the 7 days
@Fusion, yeah I was thinking that!! You're the first to mention it outright... Do you think I should do it on each stem? And should I leave her a few weeks longer also? I've already started flushing but just the once so I suppose I could gradually reintroduce nutes again. Either way I'll get a couple of small nugs for an early sample.
